Hong Seung Hee Is Convinced She’s The Female Lead In Her Bias Jung Yong Hwa’s Drama In “Oh My Guard”

Upcoming drama “Oh My Guard” has shared a new glimpse of Hong Seung Hee in her starring role!

“Oh My Guard” is a romance drama that tells the unpredictable love story of Uhm Tae Bong (CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa), an A-list actor with a fatal flaw, and Oh Hae Ra (Hong Seung Hee), a mysterious woman who believes she is Cha Hong Doo, the female lead of his drama.

Unlike the timid and easily frightened Oh Hae Ra, Cha Hong Doo is a bodyguard who is full of spirit and skilled in combat. Determined to protect Uhm Tae Bong, she appoints herself his secret bodyguard and forges an unusual relationship with the actor who was once her ultimate bias.

Newly released stills from the upcoming drama capture the contrast between Oh Hae Ra’s two polar-opposite personas.

Watch: Choi Min Sik And Han So Hee Lead A Colorful Office Ensemble In New “The Intern” Behind-The-Scenes Video

The upcoming film “The Intern” has unveiled a new poster and behind-the-scenes video!

A remake of the Hollywood film of the same name, “The Intern” tells the story of an office life that transcends generations and job titles, beginning when Gi Ho (Choi Min Sik), a senior intern with 37 years of work experience, joins Woototo, a company led by Sun Woo (Han So Hee), a workaholic CEO whose fashion brand has emerged as a dark horse just three years after its launch.

The newly released poster brings together Gi Ho and Sun Woo, alongside the rest of Woototo’s employees. The colorful ensemble includes Kim Jun Han as Young Hwan, a pragmatic vice president; Ryu Hye Young as Min Ah, the team leader of Wootutu’s management support team who is obsessed with AI; Kim Geum Soon as Hee Sook, a romantic barista; Park Ye Ni as Yoo Jin, an incredibly passionate MD; Kim Yo Han as Joo Sung, an outgoing fellow intern; Im Sung Kyun as Jun Hyung, an MD team leader skilled in office politics; and Yoon Sang Jung as Yoon Hee, a candid and bubbly fellow intern. With each character bringing a distinct personality, anticipation is building for the K-office ensemble they will create.

The accompanying behind-the-scenes video, titled “Orientation,” offers a glimpse at the cast’s fun chemistry and the production team’s efforts to bring Woototo to life.

Choi Min Sik, who plays the silver intern Gi Ho, shared, “I filmed while thinking about what I would have done if I had joined Woototo.” Director Kim Do Young added, “It was moving just to watch Choi Min Sik blend in with the younger actors.”

Han So Hee transforms into Sun Woo, a CEO who is top-tier at her job but an amateur when it comes to life. Director Kim Do Young teased a different side of the actress, saying, “Han So Hee worked hard to give everything she had to offer.”

The cast’s chemistry also stands out in the behind-the-scenes video. Ryu Hye Young shared, “I hope the audience can enjoy Woototo’s fun vibe along with us.” Director Kim Do Young revealed that Choi Min Sik was “the mood maker on set,” while Han So Hee described him as “someone who has both a cool side and an untainted innocence.”

The production team’s meticulous efforts to create Woototo’s distinctive office space and style are also highlighted. Director Kim Do Young visited actual fashion companies to capture their relaxed workplace culture and day-to-day atmosphere on film. From an office featuring phone booths to costumes designed by the film’s wardrobe team and styling tailored to each employee’s personality, the production created Woototo’s unique aesthetic.

Most notably, Gi Ho’s suit, which contrasts with the employees’ more free-spirited styles, carries deeper meaning. Choi Min Sik described it as “the battle uniform of countless ‘Gi Hos’ who have endured harsh years in the workplace.”

Finally, the two leads talked about the film’s warm message, with Choi Min Sik comparing “The Intern” to “the gentle ripples that spread when you throw a stone into water,” while Han So Hee expressed, “I hope it’s a film that will make audiences leave the theater feeling happy.”

6 K-Dramas Where The Male Lead Helps The Female Lead Heal

All you need is love, and when that affection comes with a healing touch, it makes it all the more sweet. K-dramas have more often than not given us male leads who have defined and redefined what it means to be a green flag.

These are men who celebrate the success of the women they love, thrive in her victories, but also show resilience and fortitude in helping the female lead offload her emotional baggage as well as overcome her traumas.

They also showcase strength in character. Determined and confident in themselves, they show us that a relationship is based on loyalty, trust, and embracing all aspects—the good, the bad, and the ugly—with no judgment. Here are six K-drama men who help the female leads heal and made us root for them.

Ji Sung Joon (Park Seo Joon) returns home to Seoul after having grown up in the States. The first person he seeks is his old childhood friend and crush, Kim Hye Jin. Hye Jin, the prettiest girl in the neighborhood, had befriended the chubby and friendless Sung Joon. Sung Joon would be mocked by kids, but it was Hye Jin who always had his back. The two had been in touch, but Sung Joon has no idea what the adult version of Hye Jin looks like.

The years haven’t been kind to Hye Jin (Hwang Jung Eun). Her family fell into hard times, she couldn’t pursue her dream to write, and she hustles between different jobs. Most importantly, she is extremely self-conscious about her looks. She feels she is no longer nice looking, given her frizzy hair and sallow complexion.

She sends her friend to meet Sung Joon instead of her. But when she lands a job as an intern at the same magazine where Sung Joon is an editor, she can no longer avoid him. Though initially oblivious to her, Sung Joon keeps finding himself drawn toward Hye Jin, who seems familiar to him. As the truth finally surfaces, Sung Joon is just happy to have found Hye Jin back. All he remembers of her is her sensitive and caring nature, something that still remains the same.
