Park Bo Gum Sets Sights On A Legendary Sword In First Posters For “The Sword: Rebirth Of The Red Wolf”

Park Bo Gum has made a striking transformation!

On May 7, “The Sword: Rebirth of the Red Wolf” unveiled new teaser posters starring Park Bo Gum.

“The Sword: Rebirth of the Red Wolf” is a historical action film set shortly after the fall of Goguryeo. It follows a man who loses his memory and becomes a slave before entering a tournament for a legendary sword. Director Kim Han Min of the film “War of the Arrows” will take the helm.

With the project slated to air via theaters in 2027, the newly released teaser posters capture Park Bo Gum’s powerful transformation into protagonist Chil Seong. After the fall of Goguryeo, Chil Seong lived as a slave while having forgotten his past. The poster captures the moment of awakening as he gradually realizes his true identity though a battle with the fates of 16 northern tribes on the line. The text “Rebirth of the Red Wolf” previews the grand narrative as well as the thrilling and cathartic action to come.

The upcoming film will take place in the year 668 in Xiangping, combining imagination and fiction with historical background to depict a story about a legendary sword of the north becoming a source of hope in a period of dark times. In addition to Park Bo Gum, the film additionally features a star-studded cast including Joo Won, Jung Jae Young, Lee Sun Bin, Vietnamese star Trấn Thành, and more, raising anticipation for the upcoming film.

Heo Sung Tae Transforms From Legendary Gangster To Convenience Store Owner In New Drama “Fifties Professionals”

MBC’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Fifties Professionals” has unveiled new stills of Heo Sung Tae!

“Fifties Professionals” is an action-comedy about three seemingly ordinary but secretly dangerous middle-aged men who are brought back into action by destiny. The three men, who once reigned at the top of their respective fields, find themselves exiled to the remote island of Yeongseon after a mysterious incident. There, they begin a bittersweet and comedic quest to uncover the truth about the fateful day from 10 years ago that changed their lives.

Heo Sung Tae plays Kang Beom Ryong, a once-legendary gangster who now runs a convenience store that barely makes money. After failing to recover the “item” on orders from Hwang Hwa San (Kim Byung Ok), whom he once served, and as Hwang Hwa San is wrongfully accused and imprisoned, Kang Beom Ryong sets out to find the “item” and restore the lost glory of the Hwasan Gang. In the process, he tracks down Ho Myung (Shin Ha Kyun) and heads to Yeongseon Island, after which 10 years pass.

The stills show Kang Beom Ryong’s contrasting past and present. As the No. 2 figure in the Hwasan Gang, he gives off a rough, intense presence, earning a reputation as the last wild man.
