LNGSHOT has given fans a first look at their official light stick!

On October 6, LNGSHOT teased their official light stick ahead of its full reveal, which is scheduled for October 7 at 3 p.m. KST.

The light stick features a transparent hand perched atop a black handle emblazoned with the group’s name in red. Its crossed-fingers design—with the middle finger tucked over the index finger—offers a playful nod to the group’s name, “long shot.”

October Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for rookie idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various rookie idol groups, using big data collected from September 1 to October 1.

RESCENE held onto their spot at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 8,057,217, marking a 8.04 percent increase in their score since September. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “LOVE ATTACK,” “trot,” and “college festival,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “surpass,” “sold out,” and “root for.” RESCENE’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 94.97 percent positive reactions.

CORTIS maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 2,510,823, marking a 2.96 percent rise in their score since last month.

izna shot to third place after seeing a whopping 492.05 percent increase in their brand reputation index, bringing their total score to 1,374,000 for October.

Hearts2Hearts took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 1,174,877, while KiiiKiii came in at a close fifth with a score of 1,149,374.

August Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for rookie idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various rookie idol groups, using big data collected from July 4 to August 4.

RESCENE held onto their spot at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 6,777,877, marking a 33.46 percent increase in their score since July. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “LOVE ATTACK” and “REMINE,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “cheer on,” “climb up the charts,” and “first place.”

CORTIS maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 4,540,233, while ILLIT held steady at third with a score of 1,584,058.

TWS came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 1,447,697, marking a 23.63 percent increase in their score since July.

Finally, KiiiKiii rounded out the top five for August with a brand reputation index of 1,385,044.

2026 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) Announces First Artist Lineup

The first performer lineup has been revealed for this year’s Asia Artist Awards!

Hosted by Ji Chang Wook and Jang Won Young, the 2026 Asia Artist Awards will take place on December 5 and 6 at Kaohsiung National Stadium.

Ahead of the ceremony, the organizers unveiled the first wave of performers on July 28, confirming that LNGSHOT, &TEAM, and ATEEZ will be joining this year’s lineup.

Winners Of The KM Chart Awards (KMA) 2026

The KM Chart Awards (KMA) 2026 crowned its winners last night!

On July 25, this year’s KM Chart Awards took place at Korea University’s Hwajeong Tiger Dome in Seoul.

TXT won a total of five awards this year, including the Daesang (Grand Prize) for Artist of the Year. Of their five awards, two were determined entirely by fan voting: Best Popular Song and Best Popular Male Group.

The other Daesangs went to BTS, who took home Album of the Year for their latest studio album “ARIRANG”; MAMAMOO’s Hwasa, who won Song of the Year for her hit “Good Goodbye”; and CORTIS, who snagged Record of the Year with their latest EP “GREENGREEN.”

This year’s Ultimate 12 awards—also known as the ceremony’s main prizes (Bonsang)—went to BTS, Hwasa, TXT, P1Harmony, ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, NCT WISH, KickFlip, Hearts2Hearts, ALLDAY PROJECT, CORTIS, and ALPHA DRIVE ONE.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for rookie idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various rookie idol groups, using big data collected from June 1 to July 1.

RESCENE topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 5,078,631, marking a 167.76 percent increase in their score since June.

High-ranking phrases in RESCENE’s keyword analysis included “Woni,” “alter ego,” and “promotional ambassador,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “reveal,” “reverse climb,” and “surpass.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.10 percent positive reactions.

CORTIS came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 4,973,702, marking a 19.75 percent rise in their score since last month.

ILLIT took third place with a brand reputation index of 2,491,433, marking a 4.22 percent increase in their score since June.

KiiiKiii held onto their spot at fourth place with a brand reputation index of 1,482,967, marking a 63.59 percent rise in their score since last month.

Finally, TWS rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 1,171,023, marking a 31.49 percent increase in their score since June.
