Will EXID’s Hani’s secret come to light in “Love on the Menu”?

KBS 2TV’s “Love on the Menu” is a new drama that tells the story of Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) and Han Gyu Rim (Hani), two former lovers who reunite eight years after a painful breakup. As they reconnect, they piece together the fragments of their broken families and create the warmest table of life together.

Previously on “Love on the Menu,” Han Gyu Rim’s son Han Gyeol (Yoon Ha Bin) and Kim Moo Jin were revealed to have uncannily similar taste. Meanwhile, Park Jung Woo (Min Jin Woong) was unexpectedly reunited with Han Gyu Rim just after hearing his mother, Park Soo Nam (Kang Ae Shim), express her wish for Gyu Rim to become her daughter-in-law.

Go Yoon Hee (Yoon Yoo Sun), who hadn’t seen her daughter Han Gyu Young (Park You Na) in years, treated her coldly when they finally met again, telling her never to contact Jang Hoon Tae (Kwon Hae Hyo) again.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Kim Moo Jin is deep in thought as he stares at a straw used by Han Gyeol. Believing that Han Gyu Rim has already started a family, Kim Moo Jin can’t easily approach her, but he also can’t shake the suspicion that Han Gyeol is his son. As he visibly struggles with a complicated mix of emotions, it remains to be seen whether he will decide to use the straw for a paternity test.

At the same time, the secret Han Gyu Rim has fiercely guarded for eight years is at risk of rising to the surface. After obtaining a crucial clue from his conversation with Park Soo Nam, Park Jung Woo grows suspicious of Han Gyu Rim. To add to the situation, Jo Heung Sik (Bae Jung Nam) seeks Han Gyu Rim out with an apologetic expression and makes an unexpected confession, leaving her increasingly backed into a corner.

“Love On The Menu,” “The Husband,” “Spooky in Love,” And “The Apartment Job” All Earn Their Highest Ratings Yet

No less than four dramas soared to new all-time highs in viewership last night!

On August 9, KBS 2TV’s new series “Love on the Menu” broke past the 15 percent mark to earn its highest viewership ratings to date. According to Nielsen Korea, the sixth episode of the drama scored an average nationwide rating of 15.1 percent, making it the most-watched show of any kind to air on Sunday.

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s “The Husband” ended by achieving the highest ratings of its entire run for its series finale, which scored a nationwide average of 8.5 percent.

tvN’s “Spooky in Love” set a new personal record by climbing to an average nationwide rating of 6.2 percent for its latest episode, while JTBC’s “The Apartment Job” similarly rose to its own all-time high of 6.1 percent ahead of the final week of its run.

Two “killer” dramas swept the top spots on this week’s rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and actors!

This week, Disney+’s “A Shop for Killers 2” rose to No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.

Not only did “A Shop for Killers 2” top the list of the most buzzworthy dramas, but it also dominated this week’s list of the most buzzworthy drama cast members, where star Lee Dong Wook took No. 1. The cast of “A Shop for Killers 2” swept four of the top 10 spots on the list, with Kim Hye Jun coming in at No. 7, Jo Han Sun at No. 8, and Hyunri at No. 10.

No. 2 on both lists went to MBC’s new series “A Bona Fide Killer,” which debuted at No. 2 on the drama list. Leading lady Kong Hyo Jin also entered the actor list at No. 2.

Previously on “Love on the Menu,” Han Gyu Rim’s son Han Gyeol (Yoon Ha Bin) and Kim Moo Jin were revealed to have uncannily similar taste in food. The two of them spent some quality time alone together while eating the hamburgers they loved, but when Han Gyu Rim found out, she became visibly upset and took Han Gyeol away. However, Kim Moo Jin chased after her and asked her point-blank if Han Gyeol was his son.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Kim Moo Jin flusters Han Gyu Rim with a barrage of questions as he demands the truth about Han Gyeol. On August 8, both new dramas soared to their highest viewership ratings yet. According to Nielsen Korea, MBC’s “A Bona Fide Killer” jumped to an average nationwide rating of 9.4 percent for its fourth episode, marking a new personal record for the show.

KBS 2TV’s “Love on the Menu,” which remained the most-watched program of any kind to air on Saturday, also hit a new all-time high with its fifth episode, which climbed to an average nationwide rating of 13.4 percent.

Ha Seok Jin’s budding romance with EXID’s Hani will face an unexpected crisis in “Love on the Menu”!

KBS 2TV’s “Love on the Menu” is a new drama that tells the story of Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) and Han Gyu Rim (Hani), two former lovers who reunite eight years after a painful breakup. As they reconnect, they piece together the fragments of their broken families and create the warmest table of life together.

Previously on “Love on the Menu,” Kim Moo Jin sought out his mother Hong Ok Sun (Jin Kyung) and told her that even though he’d been rejected by the person he liked, he had no intention of giving up on her. Upon hearing her son’s confession, Hong Ok Sun was unable to hide her disapproving expression. Afterwards, Kim Moo Jin succeeded in becoming a couple with Han Gyu Rim after persistently displaying his sincerity.
