MBC’s upcoming drama “The Perfect Lie” has unveiled a new poster!

Helmed by “You and Everything Else” director Jo Young Min, “The Perfect Lie” is a psychological thriller in which a man and a woman give completely opposite accounts of the same memory, clashing fiercely in their search for the truth.

In the newly released posters, Min Joon Ho and Kang Ji Sun stand facing each other. Their unwavering gazes foreshadow a tense standoff between the facts and truth each of them claims.

The poster’s caption, “You’re the one who lied,” heightens curiosity about the hidden truth between the two as they confront each other over a single memory.

Oh Jung Se Is A Former Deadly Agent Who Has Lost His Memory In “Fifties Professionals”

MBC’s upcoming drama “Fifties Professionals” has shared a glimpse of the struggles faced by Oh Jung Se’s character!

“Fifties Professionals” is an action-comedy about three seemingly ordinary but secretly dangerous middle-aged men who are brought back into action by destiny. The three men, who once reigned at the top of their respective fields, find themselves exiled to the remote island of Yeongseon after a mysterious incident. There, they begin a bittersweet and comedic quest to uncover the truth about the fateful day from 10 years ago that changed their lives.

Oh Jung Se will star as Bong Je Soon, an elite North Korean special agent who was once known as the North’s most lethal human weapon. However, after suffering an unexpected accident during a mission, Bong Je Soon loses his memory and is taken in by an elderly man who lives on Yeongseon Island with his grandson Heo Nam Il.

In a striking contrast to his past as a deadly killing machine, Bong Je Soon’s new life on Yeongseon Island as an ordinary man is marked by an unending series of minor but taxing struggles.

At work, Bong Je Soon is forced to deal with a toxic boss whose constant abuse of power leaves him drained and unhappy. In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, an envious Bong Je Soon is stuck washing his boss’s car on his own while his co-workers bond by playing a game of catch.

In another unfortunate situation, Bong Je Soon personally visits a private lender in a desperate attempt to retrieve the title deed to his house, which his nephew Heo Nam Il has secretly sold. A photo captures Bong Je Soon pitifully pleading with someone as he struggles to clean up the mess made by his unruly nephew.

Later, Heo Nam Il is seen raising a wooden plank and taking aim at his uncle Bong Je Soon’s head, piquing curiosity as to what could be happening between the two men. Notably, Bong Je Soon looks almost expectant as he takes deep breaths and prepares himself for the blow, as though he’s been waiting for this very moment.

According to the drama’s production team, this scene winds up being a pivotal moment that triggers Bong Je Soon’s lost memories of his past.

Seo Ji Hye Wakes Up To Face Her Fiancé Go Soo Whom She Has No Memory Of In New Mystery Thriller Drama “Reverse” Teasers

Wavve’s original series “Reverse” has unveiled a new main poster and teaser!

“Reverse” is a mystery revenge thriller in which Myo Jin (Seo Ji Hye), who gets caught up in an explosion at a chaebol family’s villa and loses her memory, works to recover those memories in order to uncover the secrets of her suspicious fiancé Jun Ho (Go Soo) and the truth behind the accident.

Based on an audio movie released in 2022—voiced by Lee Sun Bin, Lee Jun Hyuk, Dasom, and Im Won Hee—the drama adaption of “Reverse” is an eight-episode series newly restructured by expanding on its core theme of amnesia.

Led by Seo Ji Hye and Go Soo, the series also stars Kim Jae Kyung, Im Won Hee, Lee Hyun Kyung, Choi Moo Sung, Shim Hyung Tak, and others, who are expected to deliver intense performances that heighten the tension.

The main poster features the ominous phrase, “Erased memories, reversed truth—suspect everyone,” and sparks curiosity with the stark contrast between Myo Jin, who looks as if she has been thrown into shock, and Jun Ho, who wears a chilling facial expression that reveals nothing of what he is thinking.

In the teaser video that was released alongside the poster, after waking up following the horrific explosion, Myo Jin asks, “What happened to me?” Jun Ho answers gently, “Do you remember? We’re engaged,” while at the same time showing a suspicious attitude that ratchets up the tension.

In particular, as Myo Jin begins digging into the truth behind the incident on her own, Jun Ho gradually starts to reveal an increasingly violent true nature—further amplifying curiosity about the twists and the truth that lie ahead.

“Reverse” is set to be released on April 17. Stay tuned!
