SEVENTEEN has hit the 300 million mark for the second time on YouTube!
On July 21 at around 8:24 p.m. KST, the music video for SEVENTEEN’s 2023 hit “Super” surpassed 300 million views on YouTube, becoming the group’s second music video to reach the milestone following “Don’t Wanna Cry.”
“Super” also set a new personal record for SEVENTEEN as their fastest music video to hit the 300 million mark, achieving the feat just three years, two months, and 27 days after its release on April 24, 2023, at 6 p.m. KST.

“HOPE” Becomes Fastest Film Of 2026 To Surpass 2 Million Moviegoers
Less than five days into its run, “HOPE” has already hit the 2 million mark!
On July 19, film distributor Plus M Entertainment announced that “HOPE” had surpassed 2 million moviegoers at around 1 p.m. KST that day.
“HOPE” is now the fastest film released in 2026 to reach 2 million moviegoers, outpacing the recent hit “Colony.” Just two days ago, “HOPE” also broke the record for the fastest film of 2026 to surpass 1 million moviegoers.
Directed by Na Hong Jin, “HOPE” is a sci-fi action thriller about a police outpost chief struggling to defend his village from an unimaginable threat. The film’s star-studded cast includes Hwang Jung Min, Zo In Sung, and Jung Ho Yeon, along with Hollywood actors Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, and Taylor Russell.

ILLIT’s “It’s Me” Becomes Their Fastest MV To Hit 100 Million Views
ILLIT has set a new personal record with the music video for their latest hit!
According to BELIFT LAB, on July 18 at approximately 3:14 p.m. KST, ILLIT’s music video for their recent title track “It’s Me” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, making it their second music video to do so following their debut track “Magnetic.”
ILLIT originally released “It’s Me” on April 30 at 6 p.m. KST, meaning that it took about 78 days, 21 hours, and 14 minutes to reach the milestone.
“It’s Me” is now ILLIT’s fastest music video to hit the 100 million mark, breaking their previous record of 86 days, 17 hours, and 30 minutes set by “Magnetic” two years ago.

“HOPE” is off to a promising start at the box office!
On July 17, the Korean Film Council announced that as of 12 p.m. KST that day, “HOPE” had recorded a total of 1,003,960 moviegoers.
“HOPE” is now the fastest film released in 2026 to surpass 1 million moviegoers, outpacing the recent blockbuster “Colony” and the record-breaking hit “The King’s Warden.” “HOPE” first hit theaters on July 15, meaning that it took less than three days to reach the milestone.

Circle Chart has announced its latest batch of official certifications!
In 2018, the Korea Music Content Industry Association implemented a new certification system for album sales, song downloads, and online streaming. Starting with music released on or after January 1, 2018, Circle Chart now certifies albums platinum once they reach 250,000 sales, while albums that have sold a million copies or more receive a “million” certification.
This month, CORTIS earned two separate certifications for their latest EP “GREENGREEN.” The group received an official double million certification for selling over 2 million copies of the regular version of the album, while the Weverse version was certified double platinum for over 500,000 copies sold.
Meanwhile, aespa’s latest album “LEMONADE” and TWS’s 2025 mini album “play hard” were both certified triple platinum for selling over 750,000 copies each.
BABYMONSTER also received two certifications for their latest mini album “CHOOM.” The regular version of the EP was certified double platinum for over 500,000 copies sold, while the Nemo version was certified platinum for over 250,000 copies sold.
LE SSERAFIM’s “PUREFLOW” pt.1, ILLIT’s “I’LL LIKE YOU,” and AND2BLE’s “Sequence 01: Curiosity” were all certified double platinum for selling over 500,000 copies each.
Finally, ITZY’s “Motto,” ZEROBASEONE’s “Ascend-,” NMIXX’s “Heavy Serenade,” NCT’s Taeyong’s “WYLD,” XLOV’s “I,God,” CRAVITY’s “ReDeFINE,” and the Weverse version of NewJeans’ “Supernatural” were all certified platinum for selling over 250,000 copies each.

TXT has reached a new YouTube milestone!
On July 14 at approximately 4:30 p.m. KST, the boy group’s music video for “Deja Vu” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, meaning that it took around two years, three months, and 13 days to achieve the feat.
“Deja Vu” is their 10th music video to reach this milestone after “CROWN,” “Blue Hour,” “Run Away,” “Cat & Dog,” “Sugar Rush Ride,” “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You),” “LO$ER=LO♡ER,” “Back for More,” and “Chasing That Feeling.”

BTS has hit the 600 million mark with yet another music video!
Not long after midnight KST on July 12, BTS’s music video for “Life Goes On” surpassed 600 million views on YouTube.
“Life Goes On” is BTS’s 16th full-group music video to reach the milestone, following “DNA,” “Fire,” “Fake Love,” “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix),” “IDOL,” “Dope,” “Boy With Luv,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” “Save Me,” “Dynamite,” “Butter,” ““Permission to Dance,” “ON” (Kinetic Manifesto Film : Come Prima), “Not Today,” and “Black Swan.”

aespa has broken a personal record with their music video for “Whiplash”!
On July 10 at around 6 a.m. KST, aespa’s music video for their 2024 hit “Whiplash” surpassed 300 million views on YouTube, making it their third music video to do so after “Next Level” and “Drama.”
aespa first released the music video for “Whiplash” on October 21, 2024 at 6 p.m. KST, meaning that it took just over one year, eight months, and 18 days to hit the 300 million mark.
“Whiplash” is now aespa’s fastest music video to reach the milestone, smashing their previous record of two years, seven months, and 11 days set by “Drama” last month.

According to the Korean Film Council, the film officially surpassed 1 million moviegoers on the afternoon of July 9.
“The Eyes” is a suspenseful thriller that tells the story of Seo Jin (Shin Min Ah), a woman who is gradually losing her sight due to a genetic disease, as she sets out to investigate the suspicious death of her twin sister.
Driven by its gripping storyline and the cast’s powerful performances, “The Eyes” has continued to attract audiences and maintain strong box office momentum. The film is climbing back up the charts, drawing even more viewers in its second week of release than in its first week. It is currently ranked No. 6 at the 2026 Korean box office.

KARD has just hit the 100 million mark for the first time on YouTube!
On July 8 at around 2 p.m. KST, KARD’s music video for their 2017 pre-debut single “Don’t Recall” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, making it the group’s first music video ever to reach the milestone.
KARD first released the music video for “Don’t Recall” on February 16, 2017 at midnight KST, meaning that it took approximately nine years, four months, and 22 days to hit the 100 million mark.
