Circle Chart has announced its latest batch of official certifications!

In 2018, the Korea Music Content Industry Association implemented a new certification system for album sales, song downloads, and online streaming. Starting with music released on or after January 1, 2018, Circle Chart now certifies albums platinum once they reach 250,000 sales, while albums that have sold a million copies or more receive a “million” certification.

This month, TXT earned an official million certification for selling over 1 million copies of their latest mini album “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns.”

NCT WISH received two separate certifications for their first full-length album “Ode to Love.” The regular version of the album earned an official million certification for over 1 million copies sold, while the SMC version was certified double platinum for over 500,000 copies sold.

2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer Announces 1st Artist Lineup

The 2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer has unveiled its first lineup of performers!

On June 12, the annual music festival announced its first lineup of artists, including NCT’s Taeyong, DAY6’s Wonpil, ATEEZ, ZEROBASEONE, AND2BLE, RIIZE, NCT WISH, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, ALLDAY PROJECT, MEOVV, and Hearts2Hearts.

Adding to the excitement, the event also teased that its special headliners will be revealed soon.

The 2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer will be held on August 9 at KINTEX in Goyang.

First launched in 1996, SBS Gayo Daejeon had traditionally been held as a year-end music festival since 2007, usually around Christmas. However, beginning in 2024, SBS expanded the event into a biannual festival format by launching the first-ever summer edition.

TXT achieved a double crown on this month’s Circle charts, topping both the overall physical album chart and the digital download chart for April.

All of the top five spots on this month’s chart went to new releases, led by TXT’s latest mini album “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns,” which debuted at No. 1.

SBS’s “K-EXPO Inkigayo in Paris” has revealed its first lineup of performers!

On May 11, SBS announced that SHINee’s Taemin and NCT WISH will be joining the lineup for “K-EXPO Inkigayo in Paris,” a special event commemorating the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France.

The event is set to take place on June 17, 2026, at Palais des Congrès de Paris. Ticket sales are scheduled to open on May 19.

Last week, AKMU topped both the overall digital chart and the streaming chart with their latest title track “Joy, Sorrow, A Beautiful Heart,” but this week, they topped both charts with their hit B-side “Paradise of Rumors,” which recently scored a perfect all-kill.

The top five songs on this week’s overall digital chart and streaming chart were exactly the same. AKMU swept the top two spots on both charts with “Paradise of Rumors” and “Joy, Sorrow, A Beautiful Heart,” which swapped places to take No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.

Hearts2Hearts’ “RUDE!” ranked No. 3 on both charts, and HANRORO claimed the next two spots with “Landing in Love” at No. 4 and “0+0” at No. 5.

Global K-Pop Chart

BTS maintained their own double crown on the Circle charts this week, defending their positions at No. 1 on both the global K-pop chart and the social chart.

The top five songs on this week’s global K-pop chart were exactly the same as last week. BTS’s latest title track “SWIM” held onto its spot at No. 1, while HUNTR/X’s “Golden” (from the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack) remained unmoving at No. 2.

The next three spots on the chart all went to B-sides from BTS’s latest album “ARIRANG”: “2.0” held steady at No. 3, with “Body to Body” at No. 4 and “Hooligan” at No. 5.

Social Chart 3.0

BTS continued their reign at No. 1 on the social chart this week, followed by ILLIT at No. 2, BLACKPINK at No. 3, and IVE at No. 4.

Finally, aespa rose to No. 5 for the week.

BTS, ATEEZ, And NCT WISH Earn Triple Platinum And Gold Certifications In Japan

The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest batch of official certifications!

BTS’s new Korean album “ARIRANG” earned an official triple platinum certification for over 750,000 units shipped in Japan. According to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are certified gold at 100,000 units shipped and platinum at 250,000.

Meanwhile, both ATEEZ’s latest Korean mini album “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4” and NCT WISH’s Japanese mini album “WISHLIST” were certified platinum for over 250,000 units shipped in Japan each.
