TWICE Sets Attendance Record For K-Pop Girl Groups With North American Tour

TWICE has made K-pop history with the North American leg of their ongoing “THIS IS FOR” world tour!

On April 18, TWICE successfully wrapped up their “THIS IS FOR” tour of North America, which included 35 shows in 20 different cities across the continent. Although the group was originally scheduled to perform just 22 shows in North America, a significant number of shows were added due to demand.

Over the course of their tour, TWICE drew approximately 550,000 concertgoers in North America, setting a new record for the highest North American attendance ever achieved by a K-pop girl group.

After breaking records in North America, TWICE will next be making history in Japan, where they will become the first foreign artist ever to hold a concert of their own at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo. The group will be performing three shows at the Japan National Stadium starting on April 25.

Congratulations to TWICE on their historic achievements!

i-dle’s North American Tour Confirmed To Be Canceled + Cube Comments

Cube Entertainment has confirmed that the entire North American leg of i-dle’s “Syncopation” world tour has been canceled.

Several days ago, ticket holders for the North American stops of i-dle’s ongoing “Syncopation” tour unexpectedly received notification that the concerts had been canceled.

On April 20, MyDaily reported that Cube Entertainment had officially confirmed that all of the group’s scheduled concerts in Canada, the United States, and Mexico would not be taking place.

“After comprehensively considering the direction of [i-dle’s] global activities, local scheduling, and all other circumstances, we decided to reorganize the North American tour,” stated Cube Entertainment. “We are currently preparing so that they can meet their local fans through even higher-quality concerts and a wide variety of activities.”

As i-dle has been confirmed to be making a July comeback, it is said that the cancellation of their North American tour—which was scheduled to kick off on August 2—will allow them to carry out their comeback promotions on a more relaxed schedule.

Oh Jung Se Is Amnesiac North Korean Special Agent Turned Humble Worker In “Fifties Professionals”

MBC’s upcoming drama “Fifties Professionals” has unveiled new stills of Oh Jung Se!

“Fifties Professionals” is an action-comedy about three seemingly ordinary but secretly dangerous middle-aged men who are brought back into action by destiny. The three men, who once reigned at the top of their respective fields, find themselves exiled to the remote island of Yeongseon after a mysterious incident. There, they begin a bittersweet and comedic quest to uncover the truth about the fateful day from 10 years ago that changed their lives.

Oh Jung Se stars as Bong Je Soon, an elite North Korean operative suffering from amnesia. In the past, Bong Je Soon was known as one of North Korea’s deadliest “human weapons,” excelling in taekkyeon (traditional Korean martial art) and undercover infiltration. While carrying out a mission to retrieve stolen classified documents and illicit funds, he falls into the sea and is eventually washed ashore on Yeongseon Island—far from any familiar ties.

The first stills of Bong Je Soon highlight a striking contrast between his past and present.

As the North Korean agent “Bulgae,” he commands attention with a cold, ruthless presence devoid of emotion. His restrained expressions and piercing, chilling gaze hint at the sheer tenacity and improbable luck that allowed him to survive even on the brink of death.

In stark contrast, Bong Je Soon after losing his memory and settling on Yeongseon Island is a far cry from his former charismatic self. With a timid smile and slumped shoulders, he now handles mundane office chores—repairing broken copiers and polishing his boss’s car—adding a touch of humor to his transformed life.
