Lee Jun Hyuk And Seo Hyun Woo Meet Yoon Sea For A Crucial Negotiation In “The Ordinary Jackpot”
“The Ordinary Jackpot” has unveiled new stills ahead of its upcoming episodes!
Based on a webtoon, “The Ordinary Jackpot” follows Gong Eun Tae (Lee Jun Hyuk), an ordinary sales employee who wins the lottery jackpot. Though the prize—1.3 billion won (approximately $950,000)—isn’t quite enough to dramatically transform his life overnight, the experience ultimately inspires him to change himself instead. Rather than quit, he returns to work the very next day with a completely different outlook on life.
The newly released stills show Gong Eun Tae and Yang Joon Ho (Seo Hyun Woo) negotiating with Martina (Yoon Sea). Gong Eun Tae is seen fidgeting with his hands, while Yang Joon Ho is captured staring at Martina with a stern facial expression. Martina, on the other hand, faces the two men with a relaxed smile.
The stills also give a glimpse of the changes in the relationship between Gong Eun Tae and Jung Sun Hyuk (Oh Dae Hwan). Previously, Jung Sun Hyuk turned against Hongsung International, while Gong Eun Tae found a way to fight back. In the images below, the two men who had been at odds are seen smiling side by side, raising questions about how their relationship will ultimately play out.
The next photo captures the members of Sales Team 5 arriving at work. Gong Eun Tae, who always arrived at the office alone before anyone else, is seen arriving with Yang Joon Ho, Park Ki Tae (Hong Jin Ki), Lee Ji Hye (Ha Yul Ri), and Jang Hyang Eun (Baek Yae In).
The production team stated, “The upcoming Episodes 9 and 10 will complete the story of Sales Team 5 and also depict the final negotiation that will determine the fate of Hongsung International.” They added, “Please tune in to see the team’s final workday as well as what Gong Eun Tae has gained through his intense daily commutes to work.”
Episodes 9 and 10 of “The Ordinary Jackpot” will be released on October 8 at 6 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.

Lee Jun Hyuk And Oh Dae Hwan Face Off Once Again In “The Ordinary Jackpot”
“The Ordinary Jackpot” has unveiled new stills ahead of its upcoming episodes!
Based on a webtoon, “The Ordinary Jackpot” follows Gong Eun Tae (Lee Jun Hyuk), an ordinary sales employee who wins the lottery jackpot. Though the prize—1.3 billion won (approximately $950,000)—isn’t quite enough to dramatically transform his life overnight, the experience ultimately inspires him to change himself instead. Rather than quit, he returns to work the very next day with a completely different outlook on life.
Spoilers
Previously on “The Ordinary Jackpot,” Jung Sun Hyuk (Oh Dae Hwan), who was once Gong Eun Tae’s mentor before turning against him, faced a crisis. Gong Eun Tae reached out to help Jung Seon Hyuk despite his difficult situation, while Yang Joon Ho (Seo Hyun Woo) also used his quick thinking to help resolve the predicament facing Sales Team 5.
However, a tense atmosphere once again develops between the two in episodes 7 and 8. In the stills, Gong Eun Tae looks at Jung Sun Hyuk with a mixture of anger and conflicting emotions, while Jung Sun Hyuk wears a relaxed smile, creating a stark contrast between the two.
The consequences of Gong Eun Tae’s decision to help Jung Sun Hyuk when he was pushed to the brink, as well as how the two will clash after once again finding themselves on opposing sides, emerge as new variables.
An unexpected incident also occurs for Yang Joon Ho. While visiting a client, Yang Joon Ho glares sharply at the other party, seemingly unable to contain his anger, while Park Ki Tae (Hong Jin Ki) struggles to hold him back.
Above all, Yang Joon Ho has maintained smooth relationships with clients through his signature friendliness and smooth-talking manner. The fact that he, who rarely showed his emotions, explodes in anger at a client only raises questions about what caused him to lose his temper.
Meanwhile, the truth behind the internal whistleblowing will be revealed, bringing Jang Hyang Eun (Baek Yae In) into the spotlight in earnest. As Sales Team 5, which had been on a winning streak, faces one setback after another, it remains to be seen how Gong Eun Tae and his team will overcome this crisis.
The production team said, “In episodes 7 and 8, the brakes are put on Gong Eun Tae, who seemed to have completely changed, and Sales Team 5, which had been charging ahead without hesitation. Please look forward to seeing how they will once again find a solution.”
Episodes 7 and 8 of “The Ordinary Jackpot” will be released on October 1 at 6 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.

4 Challenging Moments For Lee Jun Hyuk And His Team In Episodes 5-6 Of “The Ordinary Jackpot”
Nothing in life comes without trials, even after hitting a jackpot. For Gong Eun Tae (Lee Jun Hyuk), winning almost a million dollars gave him not only a hefty amount of money in his bank account but also the opportunity to change his perspective, if not his whole life. After daring to take on more risks and break down his own boundaries, everything around him is starting to shift, from his work environment to his allies, bringing unexpected obstacles. Here are some challenges he and his team had to tackle in the latest episodes of “The Ordinary Jackpot”!
Warning: spoilers from episodes 5-6 ahead.
1. Going against Jung Sun Hyuk for a project
There’s a special kind of heartbreak when a close acquaintance, particularly from the workplace, turns into your rival overnight. After Jung Sun Hyuk (Oh Dae Hwan) decides to leave their company and goes as far as to try to poach some of the staff in his previous team, Gong Eun Tae has to personally take care of this problem. Joined by Park Ki Tae (Hong Jin Ki), Eun Tae has to fly all the way to Italy to try to break Sun Hyuk’s commercial partnership with another company in order to show who really has the power in the industry. With a daring approach, slightly risking his own job, Eun Tae succeeds, but that doesn’t mean it is all over for Jung Sun Hyuk.
Businesses and industries alike can be ruthless and heartless in some ways, but that doesn’t mean the people involved must be the same. Neither Eun Tae nor his boss is up to fully destroying Sun Hyuk’s start-up company. After all, the three of them worked together for many years and somehow became friends, each one learning something from one another. However, work is work, and sometimes not even the closest of friends can protect you from facing the consequences of your actions. In the end, although it seems like Sun Hyuk’s relationship with Eun Tae and his team is damaged beyond repair, there are no hard feelings between them.
2. Preparing for the launch of a new store
Amid this whole drama with Sun Hyuk, Sales Team 5 still has to complete the grand opening of Lakne’s new store. Fortunately for Eun Tae, every member on his team brings their A game to the plate. Although this whole sequence might seem irrelevant, it actually shows us what a good team they make. Everyone is willing to help, to go the extra mile, pull all-nighters, and give their all to see their project succeed. In that sense, they are really a dream team. Even amid complicated situations like the unexpected passing of a higher-up at their company, they are perfectly in sync to help.
They are so endearing as a team; it makes sense for Eun Tae not to want to quit his job despite having the opportunity to do so. Despite the fact that he has been able to succeed all on his own, he now gets a new kind of fulfillment by succeeding with his team. He leads them with courage and determination, adding some extra points to his character development.
3. Fixing a mistake on the stock purchased
Their team is put to the test when they discover a huge mistake in their inventory, having requested more than double the amount they needed. Anxiety peaks at this moment because it seems like there’s really no way out of that situation. However, Yang Joon Ho (Seo Hyun Woo) comes up with a clever plan. Although he might look like someone who only knows how to deal with minor issues, he actually is able to see the big picture and take the lead. This scene is nerve-wracking but also hilarious, since both Eun Tae and Joon Ho know how much there’s at stake for them.
Luckily, they are able to pull it off, going as far as to save the career of a popular model (Uie’s special appearance) who is going through a difficult divorce. But since there’s never bad publicity, this master move grants them the ultimate opportunity to boost their sales, creating an opportunity out of a big crisis, something only the best of teams can achieve.
4. Getting involved in an internal audit
Sadly, sometimes when you are too good at your job, praise only brings more work. As if managing some of the biggest projects and brands in the company weren’t enough for Eun Tae, the team’s outstanding performance catches the eye of the higher-ups, who put him at the front of the audit for Sales Team 2. To say this is more than a tricky situation would be an understatement. It could not only make things awkward between him and his peers but also blow up his entire team.
Given that he has no other choice but to accept, he approaches none other than Jang Hyang Eun (Baek Yae In), who turns out to be the whistleblower in a big corruption case in their office in China. Aware of how complicated the situation can become, will she decide to trust Eun Tae and help him with his new endeavours? We will discover how this new challenge turns out for them in the upcoming episodes of this exciting show!

3 Striking Moments In Episodes 3-4 Of “The Ordinary Jackpot”
What would you do if you won the lottery? That is a question many people ask, but only a few get to answer. In “The Ordinary Jackpot,” Gong Eun Tae (Lee Jun Hyuk) sees himself in this predicament when he wins almost one million dollars overnight. However, this strike of luck gives him more than a hefty amount of money; it also gives him the chance to change inwardly. In last week’s episodes, we see more of how his actions create a butterfly effect, giving us some striking moments along the way.
Warning: spoilers from episodes 3-4 ahead.
1. Gong Eun Tae teaming up with Yang Joon Ho
Everyone talks about enemies to lovers in romance, but the enemies to friends in office dramas just hit different. When Gong Eun Tae finally stands up to his, until then, nemesis, Yang Joon Ho (Seo Hyun Woo), and calls him out for his bullying, the wall between them finally breaks, allowing them to be honest for the first time. What Eun Tae couldn’t have predicted, though, is how good of a team they could be. Once they clear the air, not only do they become a particularly competent duo who tackles down complex corporate politics, but they even turn into cute, silly friends.
In that sense, both Lee Jun Hyuk and Seo Hyun Woo are great at showing glimpses of comic relief throughout the episodes. While both of their characters appear mostly serious and collected at work, when you see them interacting with each other, they can also be quite funny together without overdoing it. The show isn’t exactly a parody, but it isn’t a melodrama either, and these characters can perfectly portray that balance.
2. Gong Eun Tae standing up for his team members
For Eun Tae, winning the lottery didn’t change his life in a material way. He isn’t exactly rich, nor can he quit his job just yet. However, the emotional and psychological change he has due to it alters everything around him—especially his relationship with his team. Previously, he allowed other team leaders and higher-ups to push him around, shifting their workload on a whim, with him being unable to see how that could affect the rest of his Sales Team 5. But once Eun Tae sees that, he can’t unsee it.
They aren’t what you would call a found family, but you can notice how important they are to each other. After all the struggles they had to endure together, it is impossible not to be. That’s what makes them all the more endearing. And at the same time, Eun Tae also starts to discover what a true team leader is. Even with a new member on his team, who seems suspicious to say the least, he is empathetic and patient enough to wait until she can open up willingly. Hopefully, his good intentions won’t go to waste.
3. Jung Sun Hyuk turning into a villain
Although this drama starts every episode very slowly, showing as if nothing really were to happen outside of the normal routine in a company, the plot unravels little by little, explaining the main conflict as it goes. It isn’t something dramatic, but it works to build up the tension effectively, keeping you hooked to the story. That’s why when Jung Sun Hyuk (Oh Dae Hwan) turns into a sort of villain, it is so shocking.
The man who seemed closest to Eun Tae, all kind smiles and goodie-two-shoes, deciding to quit and even start poaching the company’s staff in less than a week is more than a wild move. Oh Dae Hwan is also great at appearing as a simple-minded character who later on turns more wicked than expected. The quiet ones are always the most dangerous. But that’s just how life is. With one apparently insignificant change, everything moves, and Gong Eun Tae has already set this story in motion.

Kim Hee Soo And Lee Jung Hyun Finally Get Their Long-Awaited Discharge In “New Recruit 4: Sabotage”
Lee Jung Hyun and Kim Hee Soo are finally set to complete their military service in “New Recruit 4: Sabotage”!
Based on the hit animation of the same name, “New Recruit” is a black comedy drama that explores the lives of young adults in their 20s, delving into the culture, secrets, and absurdities of South Korea’s military.
Season 4 depicts the second half of Park Min Seok’s (Kim Min Ho) dynamic military life as he is promoted to corporal and finds himself facing endless new dilemmas. Just when he thought things would settle after his promotion, the arrival of a mysterious new recruit and a new battalion commander signals the start of a turbulent new chapter.
The newly released stills capture the discharge ceremonies of Kang Chan Seok (Lee Jung Hyun) and Choi Byung Nam (Kim Hee Soo). Kang Chan Seok and Choi Byung Nam look dignified as they finally reach their discharge day. Kang Chan Seok has shown remarkable growth, transforming from a troublesome “villain” into a changed man, while Choi Byung Nam has always been the soldier who brings laughter wherever he goes. Having had their discharge delayed once due to the Homeland Defense Training, the two wear expressions that reflect both relief and bittersweetness as they finally bid farewell to military life.
Park Jae Soo (Oh Yong), known as the “father” of 2nd Company, is captured preparing to send his “sons” off once again with a warm smile.
However, in the last still, Jo Baek Ho (Oh Dae Hwan) is seen shaking hands with someone with a stern expression, adding tension to the episode. After proving his abilities by successfully completing the Homeland Defense Training, viewers are left wondering what new challenge awaits him. It also remains to be seen whether Jo Baek Ho will achieve the result he has hoped for in the final promotion review.

Lee Jung Hyun, Kim Hee Soo, And More Clash With The Marines During Grueling Joint Training In “New Recruit 4: Sabotage”
“New Recruit 4: Sabotage” has unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!
Spoilers
Previously on “New Recruit 4: Sabotage,” Company 2 suddenly took on the role of the opposing force in the Hoguk Training exercise. Veteran sergeants Kang Chan Seok (Lee Jung Hyun) and Choi Byeong Nam (Kim Hee Soo), who even postponed their discharge to help their junior soldiers, joined the unit and lent their support. However, they clashed with the Marine Corps they encountered at the training site from their very first meeting.
The newly released stills show Company 2 beginning training in rugged mountainous terrain. In particular, Jo Baek Ho’s (Oh Dae Hwan) stern expression draws attention. Unlike his usual demeanor of encouraging his fellow soldiers with a smile, he appears visibly tense, teasing what may have angered him and how he will respond.
On the other hand, Kang Chan Seok and Choi Byeong Nam confront the Marines head-on. With neither side showing any intention of backing down, the scene foreshadows continued conflict during the joint training.
Another still also captures the soldiers looking out for one another during the grueling march. Moon Bit Nari (Kim Yo Han) pushes through the dense mountain trail with his teeth clenched, while Choi Il Gu (Nam Tae Woo) stays by his side. It remains to be seen whether the soldiers, determined to complete the training without leaving anyone behind, can overcome both their conflicts and physical limits.
The production team hinted, “In episode 9, Company 2 and the Marine Corps will officially begin joint training and continue to clash over cultural differences that cannot easily be bridged, while unexpected situations will also arise. Please stay tuned to see Jo Baek Ho’s leadership emerge in the process, as well as the solidarity of Company 2, which grows even stronger in moments of crisis.”

Lee Jun Hyuk And Seo Hyun Woo Find A New Rhythm As Colleagues In “The Ordinary Jackpot”
Lee Jun Hyuk and Seo Hyun Woo are finally joining forces as colleagues in “The Ordinary Jackpot”!
Spoilers
In the previous episodes, Gong Eun Tae, the head of Sales Team 5, experienced an unexpected turn of events after enduring his grueling work life. Having spent years suppressing his anger and putting up with everything, Gong Eun Tae suddenly struck it lucky when his lottery ticket won the jackpot, earning him 1.3 billion won.
Despite this, Gong Eun Tae chose to keep going to work rather than quit. However, he resolved to stop simply putting up with everything, marking the beginning of a change in his approach to office life.
The newly released stills show the changed relationships among Sales Team 5 members Gong Eun Tae, Yang Joon Ho (Seo Hyun Woo), Park Ki Tae (Hong Jin Ki), and Lee Ji Hye (Ha Yul Ri) following Gong Eun Tae’s “decision to cause some trouble.” Unlike before, when Gong Eun Tae and Yang Joon Ho were constantly at odds, Yang Joon Ho now wears a much softer expression. Meanwhile, Gong Eun Tae looks flustered, as if he is still unfamiliar with the sudden change in atmosphere.
In another photo, Gong Eun Tae and Yang Joon Ho welcome a client together, showing the former rivals beginning to work in sync. Park Ki Tae and Lee Ji Hye, who previously had to carefully navigate the tension between their two bosses, also look nervous as they await the outcome of the project. How will the constantly bickering Sales Team 5 come together as a team through their new project?
The stills also capture a meeting between Jung Sun Hyuk (Oh Dae Hwan) and Park Ki Tae. The two meet outside the company rather than at Hongsung International. While Park Ki Tae wears an innocent expression, Jung Sun Hyuk flashes a meaningful smile. Their unexpected meeting raises questions about why the two, who have had little interaction until now, have met privately and what Jung Sun Hyuk will say to Park Ki Tae.

Kim Min Ho And His Company Freeze When They See Who They’re Up Against In “New Recruit 4: Sabotage”
“New Recruit 4: Sabotage” has unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!

The newly released stills show the 2nd Company holding an operational briefing ahead of the battle. Jo Baek Ho (Oh Dae Hwan), who is preparing for his promotion review to major, leads the briefing with a sharper gaze than ever. Park Min Seok, Choi Il Gu (Nam Tae Woo), and the other company members also put aside their usual antics and focus intently on the briefing.
However, their serious mood does not last long. They discover that the unit they will be facing during the Hoguk Training exercise is the Marine Corps, famously known as the “ghost-catching” Marines.
