The film “Still Shining” has unveiled character stills capturing its protagonists at age 17!

“Still Shining” depicts the story of Soon Ok (Kim Hye Ja), who reunites with her best friend Jung Im (Cha Mi Kyung) after 60 years—a friend with whom she shared the most brilliant moments of her life.

The newly released stills turn back the clock to when Soon Ok and Jung Im were 17-year-old girls. Park Seo Kyung plays the younger Soon Ok. A 17-year-old girl who treasures her best friend Jung Im more than anyone, she harbors ambitious dreams of her own, including a dream of one day moving to Seoul and turning Jung Im into a star.

Choi Ju Eun plays the younger Jung Im. With a clear voice and exceptional singing ability, Jung Im dreams of becoming a singer. Despite growing up in modest circumstances, she refuses to give up on her dream and continues working toward her goal of one day becoming a singer known in Seoul.

The character stills offer glimpses into the special bond between the two girls. The film has been officially invited to the “Korean Cinema Today – Panorama” section of the 31st Busan International Film Festival.

The newly released poster features Soon Ok’s warm gaze and delicate touch. The image of Soon Ok and young Jung Im (Choi Ju Eun), once each other’s most cherished friends, gazing at one another conveys the memories and emotions the two have held onto over the 60 years they have spent apart.

However, the sight of Soon Ok feeling heartbroken as she watches Jung Im gradually lose her memory hints at what happened to the two women.

The trailer also reveals Soon Ok and Jung Im as children. A scene where Young Soon Ok (Park Seo Kyung), Jung Im, and Doo Young (Moon Seong Hyun) spend time together by a stream evokes memories of their youth. tvN’s “Mad Concrete Dreams” has released a new behind-the-scenes video following the drama’s finale!

“Mad Concrete Dreams” is a thriller drama starring Ha Jung Woo as Ki Su Jong, a struggling landlord who gets caught up in crime to protect his family and property. Despite achieving the coveted status of a landlord, mounting debts lead him to become entangled in a staged kidnapping. However, the plan spirals out of control as the fake kidnapping turns dangerously real.

The behind-the-scenes video shows the cast easing into their final days of filming with laughter, hugs, and commemorative photos. After Lim Soo Jung completes her last scene, the crew breaks into applause as she receives flowers and poses for photos with co-star Park Seo Kyung and the director.
