Song Kang And Lee Jun Young Get Closer After Becoming Duet Partners In “Four Hands, Two Sonatas”

Song Kang and Lee Jun Young will team up as a duo on the next episode of tvN’s “Four Hands, Two Sonatas”!

“Four Hands, Two Sonatas” is a new drama that follows the friendship, love, rivalry, and growth of two students who meet at an arts high school, tracing their journey from adolescence to adulthood as professional pianists.

Spoilers

On the first episode of the drama, Kang Pio (Song Kang) and Choi Jeong Yo (Lee Jun Young) first met as competitors in a piano competition when they were children. However, in the years since, their lives diverged into completely different paths: while Kang Pio enrolled in a prestigious arts high school and established himself as an award-winning pianist, Choi Jeong Yo gave up playing the piano and began working to pay off his father’s debts.

At the end of the episode, the two piano prodigies’ lives intersected once again when Choi Jeong Yo unexpectedly transferred to Kang Pio’s high school.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming second episode, the two students wind up working together when they receive a “four hands” assignment from their shared teacher Do Hyun Soo (Kim Joo Hun). As their only experience playing together was seven years ago, when they briefly played for fun backstage at a competition, it remains to be seen whether they will be able to satisfy Do Hyun Soo with their teamwork.

The cheerful smiles on Kang Pio and Choi Jeong Yo’s faces as they practice together at school suggest that things are going smoothly. The two pianists also take their practice outside, where they play together for a crowd on the street.

Song Kang And Lee Jun Young Go From Rivals To Piano Partners In New Drama “Four Hands, Two Sonatas”

Upcoming tvN drama “Four Hands, Two Sonatas” has teased the dynamic between Song Kang and Lee Jun Young!

“Four Hands” is a piano term that refers to a technique where two people play a single piano together. The drama “Four Hands, Two Sonatas” will depict the friendship, love, rivalry, and growth of youths who meet at an arts high school, following their journey from adolescence to adulthood as professional pianists.

In the drama, Kang Bi Oh (Song Kang), who is recognized as a next-generation pianist, is a hard-working genius who has maintained his position at the top through 10 hours of practice every day. However, when transfer student Choi Jung Yo (Lee Jun Young), whose innate musical talent impresses those around him, appears, Kang Bi Oh faces his limitations for the first time.

For Choi Jung Yo, Kang Bi Oh is a special person who helped him rediscover his dream. After accidentally hearing Kang Bi Oh’s performance, Choi Jung Yo begins dreaming of becoming a pianist again. He approaches Kang Bi Oh first despite Kang Bi Oh’s guarded attitude, bringing about a change in their relationship.

The newly released stills capture the three stages of change in their emotions. First, Kang Bi Oh and Choi Jung Yo face each other in the classroom, exchanging sharp glances as they create a tense atmosphere. This foreshadows the clash between Kang Bi Oh, who has maintained his place at the top through hard work, and Choi Jung Yo, who possesses innate talent.

As their relationship develops, another still shows the two sitting side by side at the same piano, looking at the same sheet music. The previous coldness between them disappears, replaced by a natural sense of comfort that reflects the deepened bond between the two as they have opened their hearts to each other.

The final still captures the two facing each other with solemn expressions at their respective pianos. Having evolved from wary rivals to friends and then to duo partners, it remains to be seen what kind of harmony they will create through a four-hands piano performance.

“Four Hands, Two Sonatas” will premiere on August 29 at 9:10 p.m. KST.

Ahn Hyo Seop And Chae Won Bin Become Business Partners As Their Relationship Deepens In “Sold Out On You”

SBS’s “Sold Out on You” has unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!

“Sold Out on You” is a romantic comedy about the unexpected love story between Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo Seop), a perfectionist farmer juggling multiple jobs, and Dam Ye Jin (Chae Won Bin), a top home shopping show host who suffers from severe insomnia.

Spoilers

Previously on “Sold Out on You,” Matthew Lee saw a different side of Dam Ye Jin, who suffers from a sleep disorder and sleepwalking. After that, he began to feel a strange sense of connection and concern for her.

In particular, on a rainy night while returning her medication, Matthew Lee made a surprising remark: “Let’s see each other every day,” sending viewers’ hearts aflutter.

In the upcoming episode, Matthew Lee makes a sudden decision to renew a raw material supply contract with L’Étoile, a company Dam Ye Jin worked hard to secure.

As a result, there are signs that long-stalled issues involving white flower nuri mushroom supply and entry into a hit home shopping channel may be resolved at once, hinting at cooperation between the two.

However, Matthew Lee reviews the contract with his sharp attention to detail and is expected to present an unexpected “special clause” that leaves Dam Ye Jin flustered.

As strict and precise as he is when tending mushrooms, it remains to be seen what Matthew Lee’s conditions are and how they will affect the relationship between the two.

The next episode of “Sold Out on You” airs on May 6 at 9 p.m. KST.
