Ji Sung Looks Thoroughly Unimpressed As Moon So Ri Leads A Passionate Protest In “The Apartment Job”

JTBC’s “The Apartment Job” has unveiled new stills of Ji Sung and Moon So Ri together at a protest!

JTBC’s “The Apartment Job” tells the story of former Oasis Gang boss Park Hae Kang (Ji Sung), who runs for president of an apartment complex’s resident council in order to get his hands on the complex’s hidden reserve fund. In the process, he winds up joining forces with the other residents in order to expose deep-rooted corruption.

Spoilers

Previously on “The Apartment Job,” Park Hae Kang confirmed that his apartment complex had a hidden 17.8 billion won (approximately $12 million) reserve fund for long-term repairs. He then entered into a fake marriage contract with Kang Ha Ri (Ha Yun Kyung) and formed a fake family with his squad in order to prepare for the resident council election.

Meanwhile, Jang Sook Jin (Moon So Ri), who had been taking an unusually keen interest in everything happening around the apartment complex, was shown practicing her campaign speech, declaring, “If I’m elected as a residents’ representative, I’ll create an apartment community where common sense prevails,” setting their rivalry for the election in motion.

The newly released stills showcase the duo’s completely opposite personalities. Park Hae Kang reluctantly joins a protest organized by Jang Sook Jin to demand the construction of a new subway station exit, but instead of showing enthusiasm, he stands off to one side among the residents, expressionless as he halfheartedly holds up a protest sign with a thoroughly annoyed look on his face.

Jang Sook Jin, on the other hand, passionately raises her sign high in the air and loudly leads the protest chants, showing off her boundless enthusiasm. However, another still captures Jang Sook Jin staring intently into the distance with a tense expression, hinting that something unexpected may unfold at the demonstration.

With the two now unexpectedly finding themselves on the same side despite their looming election showdown, viewers are left wondering what brought them together at the protest—and how their relationship will evolve going forward.

MBC’s upcoming drama “A Bona fide Killer” (working title) has unveiled the first glimpse of Jung Jun Won in character!

“A Bona fide Killer” is an action drama that follows the story of a working mother with the most lethal job in the world as she fights to protect her work–life balance. Kong Hyo Jin plays Yu Bo Na, the manager of Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics and a legendary sniper known as “Kingfisher.”

Jung Jun Won plays Kwon Tae Sung, Yu Bo Na’s husband and a reporter on a newspaper’s investigative reporting team. He is a devoted husband and a doting father to his daughter while also being a fearless, passionate journalist who charges headfirst into every injustice in the world without hesitation. He once worked as the reporter exclusively assigned to cover “Kingfisher” and gradually moves closer to uncovering its true identity. As he gets closer to the truth, he finds himself facing an unavoidable crossroads.

The newly released stills capture Kwon Tae Sung out in the field, completely immersed in his investigations. Away from work, Kwon Tae Sung reveals a completely different side of himself. In front of his family, he transforms into a loving husband and devoted father who treasures his daughter, revealing his warm and affectionate side. His casual appearance and gentle smile, along with his heartfelt belief that building a family with Yu Bo Na was the best decision of his life, are expected to add warmth to the story.Jung Jun Won Is Both A Passionate Reporter And A Doting Dad In New Action Drama插图2 Jung Jun Won Is Both A Passionate Reporter And A Doting Dad In New Action Drama插图3

Anticipation is especially high for how Jung Jun Won will portray Kwon Tae Sung’s internal conflict between his duty as a journalist and his responsibilities as the head of a family. Jung Jun Won is expected to deliver yet another spectacular acting transformation through this multidimensional character, whose belief in social justice constantly clashes with his desire to protect his loved ones.

The production team commented, “Jung Jun Won perfectly brought to life both the warm, family-oriented husband and the passionate reporter who fearlessly throws himself into the pursuit of justice,” adding, “His two contrasting sides will enrich the drama and make it even more engaging. Please look forward to it.”

“A Bona fide Killer” is set to premiere on July 31 at 9:50 p.m. KST.

Um Tae Goo Transforms Into An Overly Passionate Rapper In Upcoming Film “Wild Sing”

Upcoming film “Wild Sing” has shared new stills featuring Um Tae Goo!

“Wild Sing” is a comedy movie that follows the story of TRIANGLE, a once-popular co-ed trio that fell into obscurity after an unfortunate incident. The film depicts their chaotic journey as they attempt to reunite and make a comeback.

Um Tae Goo plays Sang Gu, TRIANGLE’s overly passionate rapper, whose enthusiasm far exceeds his talent.

Sang Gu once dreamed of becoming a true hip hop warrior, but in reality, he only ever had just a few lines in songs. After the group disbanded, even his ambitious solo album failed, leaving him buried in debt and barely getting by as an insurance salesman.

Um Tae Goo perfectly captures both the overly passionate side of Sang Gu and the sorrow of a “failed rapper” struggling to survive.

Um Tae Goo commented, “The character of Sang Gu was new to me in every way, and participating in this project was a challenge in itself.”

To prepare for the role, the actor entered “trainee mode” for five months, frequenting the JYP Entertainment headquarters. He received comprehensive hip hop training—including rap-making lessons, styling, and stage presence—from producer Kass, who has collaborated with groups like GOT7, Stray Kids, and NMIXX.

From his signature rapping style, which makes full use of his distinctive husky voice, to a wide range of expressions, poses, and choreography, Um Tae Goo perfectly embodied the uniquely comedic character of Sang Gu. Attention is focused on how Um Tae Goo, who is known for his overly shy and introverted personality, will portray this comedic and overly passionate character.
