Koo Kyo Hwan Faces Mysterious Pursuer Shin Seung Ho After Gaining The Power To Resurrect In “Reawaken Man: The Red”
The upcoming film “Reawaken Man: The Red” has unveiled new stills featuring its main characters!
Based on a webtoon, “Reawaken Man: The Red” follows Seok Hwan (Koo Kyo Hwan), an unemployed job seeker whose only qualification is his unfounded confidence. After dying, he discovers that he has the ability to come back to life 72 hours later. As he learns about his extraordinary power, he becomes the target of a mysterious pursuit.
The newly released stills feature Seok Hwan after his resurrection along with the various characters surrounding him. One still shows Seok Hwan opening his eyes 72 hours after experiencing death. The scene hints at how dramatically his once-ordinary life as a job seeker has changed overnight.
In another still, Seok Hwan sports a striking red hairstyle and throws himself into fearless action, including leaping over vehicles with his bare hands. With him growing stronger each time he dies and comes back to life, another image that captures Seok Hwan being apprehended by the police raises questions about the dangerous situations he will face.
The stills also offer a glimpse of Black (Shin Seung Ho), a mysterious figure who relentlessly pursues Seok Hwan after discovering his ability to resurrect. Black has the ability to control other people’s actions according to his own will, but his power has no effect on Seok Hwan. A photo showing the two facing off highlights the intense confrontation between them, suggesting a battle in which neither side can afford to back down.
Meanwhile, Young Ha (Kang Ki Young), Seok Hwan’s only friend and an office worker who is highly skilled at navigating social life, brings comic relief with his enthusiastic dancing. At the same time, he is unafraid to hit Seok Hwan with brutally honest reality checks, while proving to be an especially dependable friend when it matters most, hinting at the pair’s close and entertaining friendship.
Lastly, Seok Hwan’s younger sister Ye Rin (Kim Si Ah) serves as an important ally in solving cases. The newly released stills show her right beside Seok Hwan, using a computer to track down clues herself, raising anticipation for the sibling chemistry she will share with Seok Hwan.
“Reawaken Man: The Red” will hit theaters on September 30.

Hyun Bin, Jung Sung Il, And Roh Jae Won Dish On Their Characters’ Shifting Power Dynamics In “Made In Korea 2”
“Made in Korea 2” has shared a glimpse of how the relationships between Hyun Bin, Jung Sung Il, and Roh Jae Won have changed over the course of nine years!
The first season of “Made in Korea” followed Baek Ki Tae (Hyun Bin), a man driven by ambition for wealth and power, and prosecutor Jang Geon Young (Jung Woo Sung), who sacrificed everything to stop him, as they confronted a monumental event in the turbulent 1970s.
“Made in Korea 2,” set nine years after the Season 1 finale, follows Baek Ki Tae, now at the peak of power; Jang Geon Young, who has been preparing a counterattack; and Baek Ki Hyun (Woo Do Hwan), who is pursuing a different path to power from his older brother. Their ambitions spiral out of control, shaking things up and creating an irreversible rift.
With the characters having undergone major changes over the past nine years and their interests now increasingly at odds, “Made in Korea 2” has unveiled new stills hinting at the intense power struggle among three key figures within the Korean Central Intelligence Agency: Baek Ki Tae, Cheon Seok Jung (Jung Sung Il), and Pyo Hak Soo (Roh Jae Won).
In the newly released still, Baek Ki Tae and Cheon Seok Jung stare straight ahead with contrasting expressions. Continuing from Season 1, Cheon Seok Jung remains the powerful Blue House chief of staff, wielding near-absolute power while still occupying the No. 2 position. However, the arrival of Hwang Dae Shik (Heo Jung Do), who threatens even his No. 2 position, puts him on edge and prompts him to reach out to Baek Ki Tae, who has long remained by his side.
Regarding this, Hyun Bin shared, “In Season 1, Baek Ki Tae was the one looking toward Cheon Seok Jung, but in Season 2, I felt that Cheon Seok Jung also comes to rely on Baek Ki Tae.”
Jung Sung Il, however, offered a different perspective, saying, “It doesn’t matter to Cheon Seok Jung who sits in that position. Baek Ki Tae has simply taken the seat that Hwang Guk Pyeong once occupied.” He added, “Baek Ki Tae is a card he can discard at any time if the situation becomes unfavorable,” raising anticipation for the increasingly intense psychological battle between the two men.
Pyo Hak Soo has also undergone perhaps the most drastic transformation over the past nine years, immediately catching the eye with his completely changed appearance, including a wig and glasses. After being locked in a tense rivalry with Baek Ki Tae in Season 1, Pyo Hak Soo now finds himself serving under Baek Ki Tae, who has been promoted to acting director of the KCIA, placing him in a completely different power dynamic.
Roh Jae Won explained, “They were rivals in Season 1, but in Season 2, Baek Ki Tae is his superior. The subtle discomfort that comes from that, along with the precarious situations where he crosses that boundary, is the biggest difference.”
He also shared that, to capture Pyo Hak Soo’s sharp survival instincts, he repeatedly reminded himself, “I have to survive this game somehow. I’m smarter than you, and my choice is the right one.”
Director Woo Min Ho likewise described Pyo Hak Soo as someone who “plays a much more pivotal role in Season 2 than in Season 1,” adding that he is “like a trickster ball that could bounce in any direction,” further raising curiosity about what he will do next.
With a total of six episodes, “Made in Korea 2” will premiere with episodes 1 and 2 on September 9, followed by two episodes released every Wednesday.

The upcoming film “Reawaken Man: The Red” has unveiled the first of Shin Seung Ho’s character!
Shin Seung Ho plays Black, a mysterious figure who relentlessly pursues Seok Hwan after discovering his ability to resurrect. Black has a special ability that allows him to control others and make them act according to his will, making him a formidable presence. However, when he discovers that his power has no effect on Seok Hwan, the two become locked in a tense confrontation.
Shin Seung Ho portrays Black’s intimidating character through a restrained performance that captures both his ability to manipulate others and his cold, emotionless demeanor. He also takes on action scenes opposite Koo Kyo Hwan, adding to the film’s tension and spectacle.
Shin Seung Ho also went to great lengths to develop the character’s unique, intimidating aura. Director Baek Jong Yul praised the actor, saying, “Shin Seung Ho spent a long time meticulously preparing his lines, pronunciation, and vocal tone, and that process played a major role in creating Black’s atmosphere.”
The actor is said to have worked extensively to develop a voice and manner of speaking that suited Black’s personality, while also delivering his English and Japanese lines with ease.

Watch: Hyun Bin’s Destructive Pursuit Of Power Ignites A Dangerous Battle In “Made In Korea 2” Teaser
“Made in Korea 2” has unveiled its main poster and teaser!
The newly released main poster centers on Baek Ki Tae, who wields a rifle against a backdrop resembling a battlefield. Surrounding him are characters driven by their own desires and ambitions, including Jang Geon Young, who returns with a more cold and calculating demeanor than nine years ago; Baek Ki Hyun, who finds himself torn between his older brother Baek Ki Tae and Jang Geon Young; Oh Ye Jin (Seo Eun Soo); Ikeda Yuji (Won Ji An); Cheon Seok Jung (Jung Sung Il); Pyo Hak Soo (Roh Jae Won); and Baek So Young (Cha Hee).
They are joined by the newly introduced mysterious character Madam Shin (Jang Hye Jin) and Hwang Dae Sik (Heo Jung Do), the head of the military, foreshadowing a complex web of conflicting interests and fierce confrontations.
The tagline, “A single moment’s choice can change history,” further raises anticipation for the unpredictable decisions that will shake up the balance of power and the enormous consequences that follow.
The newly released main trailer previews a head-on clash between Baek Ki Tae, who seizes the opportunity created by the absence of the country’s highest authority on October 26, 1979, to secure the position of acting director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA), and the military forces led by Hwang Dae Sik, who stand against the KCIA.
An ambitious Baek Ki Tae then makes a cryptic proposal to Cheon Seok Jung, asking, “Would you like to cross the Han River bridge with me?” Cheon Seok Jung, who has joined forces with Baek Ki Tae, responds, “From now on, I’m going to trust only you.” As tensions between the KCIA and the military escalate, Jang Geon Young hints at his counterattack with the ominous remark, “Baek Ki Tae, you think this will last forever, don’t you?”
The trailer then cuts between a series of tense moments, including Oh Ye Jin interrogating Ikeda Yuji and Baek Ki Tae firing a barrage of bullets while declaring, “I’ll personally put an end to Hwang Dae Sik.” The conflict grows increasingly intense, culminating in the chilling line, “Whether you die, I die, or we both die,” hinting at a confrontation with no clear end in sight.
The main trailer concludes with Baek Ki Tae appearing to suppress his anger, heightening curiosity over what consequences his destructive pursuit of the pinnacle of power in the name of patriotism will ultimately bring.

Jung Sung Il And Roh Jae Won Return With New Positions And Greater Power In “Made In Korea 2”
Season 2 of the Disney+ original series “Made in Korea” has released new stills of Jung Sung Il and Roh Jae Won’s characters!

Their ambitions spiral out of control, shaking things up and creating an irreversible rift.
Jung Sung Il returns as Chun Seok Jung, who has maintained his position as the second-most powerful figure beside the VIP at the very top of the political hierarchy. In Season 1, he was someone Baek Ki Tae looked up to, but nine years later in Season 2, he has risen to an even more powerful position. 4 Reasons To Watch Costume Romance C-Drama “Blossoms Of Power”
A vengeful spirit, a cunning prince, and a fateful encounter combine to create a unique story. On a mystical night marked by a double moon, the gates of fate open, granting those who seek justice or revenge a second chance at life. That’s how “Blossoms of Power” begins, a new costume period C-drama with action, mysteries, and the hope for a sweet romance. Here are some of the reasons why you should definitely tune into this show!
Warning: spoilers ahead.
1. The clever princess plotting for her revenge
In the middle of treason accusations involving her whole clan, Consort Princess Gu Qing Zhi vows to never let anyone define her fate and decides to take her own life before they kill her. But instead of dying, she wakes up as Princess Shen Xi He (Meng Zi Yi), a proud and noble woman who is set to take a prominent place at court by marrying into the royal family. After falling into a deathly trap and being saved by a mysterious figure, Qing Zhi, now as Shen Xi He, enters the capital with a clear goal in mind.
Having lost her old family and with a new chance to fulfill her plans, she is determined to take revenge on anyone who ever dared to wrong her and to protect the Northwest. Aside from the promise of gaining control over her future, nothing else matters. In that sense, she is a rather simple character. She doesn’t let herself be swayed easily, and her every move is carefully calculated, dictated by a cold mind rather than a passionate heart. That makes watching every episode more interesting, as you wonder if the male lead will ever get to melt the icy heart of this Princess.
2. Watching a prince falling first and harder
What Xi He doesn’t know and could never have guessed, at least at first, is that the man who saved her life and the shadow who constantly interferes in her plans is none other than the Crown Prince, Xiao Hua Yong (He Yu). After being poisoned in his childhood, he has no choice but to live under the guise of a sickly and useless man, hiding away his true condition and closely watching every move at court in order to fulfill his own desire for justice. With time and his health against him, he never thought of falling in love until he met Xi He.
Not only does her striking beauty leave him in awe, but her sharp mind and keen senses constantly amaze him, making him fall more and more in love at every turn. The way she conducts herself convinces him that there could never be a more dignified, honorable, or noble woman than her, inspiring a new sense of desire in himself as well. He falls so hard that even her coldness seems adorable in his eyes, making this male lead probably one of the most endearing lovefools in the history of C-dramas.
3. A battle to win the hand of a princess
From the very first moment she sets foot on the palace, Xi He has to escape several threats, scheme through complex politics, and figure out who will be the best option among the five suitors fighting for her hand. Luckily, Xi He isn’t the simple-minded woman who everyone thought she was. Displaying a fine composure and perceptiveness, she easily manages every one of the princes, seeing through their masks and cheap tricks to trap her into yet another treacherous marriage. But finding that in a court that feels much like a prison is as easy as it gets. Especially when Prince Xin (Jeremy Tsui) starts to suspect Xi He might be his late wife Qing Zhi and falls into a particularly dangerous obsession over her.
But not even the most desperate situations will make her rush into a union that will put her plans at risk. This female lead is as strong as an iron wall, so the prince who will join her in her life must be as clever as a fox, someone who will match her free spirit without trying to dominate her. And although the Crown Prince offers her exactly what she needs, Xi He still takes a long time before deciding to take his hand. She basically tests his patience to the limit, but Hua Yong is more than willing to oblige. That is the kind of devotion everyone loves to watch, even if it is a little pitiful at times.
4. The journey to uncover the truth about the past
Aside from winning the heart of his princess, the second most important thing for Hua Yong is discovering the person behind his poisoning. He embarks on a journey to find the culprit who hides among the members of the court, even taking the risk of shortening the few years he has left and enduring excruciating pain only to find the truth. But the more he digs into the past, the more confusing things turn. Nobody is as simple as it seems, and even the apparently loving and righteous Emperor might be implicated.
In such a complex environment, both Hua Yong and Xi He must learn to rely on each other, fight the corruption within the kingdom, and even defy death when Hua Yong clearly has a death sentence hanging over his head. This show might be your typical costume drama in some aspects, but the charming male lead who can be a little dorky, together with a charismatic female lead who has a bulletproof mindset, create a powerful combination, which perfectly portrays why they are the most beautiful “Blossoms of Power.”

She marries Prince Mo Xiu Yao (Ryan Cheng), a once admired war hero who leads a disillusioned life burdened with a fallen family name after his older brother’s alleged treason.
Though their union seems like a transactional alliance, the two are far more connected, given the similarities in their twisted fates. While Ye Li is shrewd and straightforward, she is also tender-hearted and goes all out to protect Mo Xiu Yao. On the other hand, Mo Xiu Yao, aware of his wife’s dual nature, tries to be indifferent towards her but finds himself falling for her wit and intelligence.

“Are You the One”
Liu Mian Tang (Wang Chu Ran) is a clever and decisive leader of Yang Shan. Known for her skills as a warrior and being just, she loses her memory after a near-fatal accident. Waking up with no memory of her life before, she believes Cui Xing Zhou (Zhang Wan Yi), the Prince of Huai Yang and the man who had rescued her, to be her husband.
As the two begin living together, hidden identities, political conspiracies, and long-buried secrets gradually come to light, forcing them to question everything they know. Throughout the story, Liu Mian Tang repeatedly proves herself to be clever, resourceful, and remarkably resilient, while Cui Xing Zhou grows into a partner who respects her decisions instead of trying to control them, creating a romance built on trust rather than outdated gender roles.
It’s an entertaining watch as an unlikely romance unfolds between a woman who is defined as being morally gray and a man who is soft-hearted, yet determined. Even though they find themselves on opposing sides, there is never an attempt to overpower or outdo the other.
Zhang Wan Yi gives a layered performance as a man torn between love and heartbreak, while Wang Chu Ran brings forth the savviness as well as the vulnerability of her character. Both actors also showcase their comedic timing, giving the show its many light-hearted moments.

When a rising star magistrate, Lu Jiang Lai (Hou Ming Hao), is framed and stripped of everything for a crime he didn’t commit, he is not only left injured, but becomes an amnesiac. He is rescued by Rong Shan Bao (Gülnezer Bextiyar), the shrewd daughter of the Tea King. She has her own agenda, since she wants to settle a past score with him. Hiding his identity, she conscripts him into her household and demotes him to the rank of a stable boy. Jiang Lai finds himself embroiled in the politics of the Rong home as well as in their search for a high stakes son-in-law. As he and Shan Bao engage in a battle of wits, the bond transforms into something deep and meaningful.
A master-servant setup that inverts the usual power gradient is what makes this one sing — Hou Ming Hao’s chemistry with Gülnezer Bextiyar was shipped by viewers for how naturally he lets her lead. Watching a capable man defer to a woman’s plan and slowly earn a real partnership instead of just a title is the hook.

“The Princess’s Gambit”
Princess Jiang Tao Hua (Meng Zi Yi) escapes Empress Lu’s control through a political marriage to the state of Wei. But upon arriving, she is attacked and accused of an affair with Chancellor Shen Zai Ye (Liu Xue Yi). She takes charge of Zai Ye’s home, outsmarting his other wives, court spies, as well as Zai Ye himself in her plan.
Even though Zai Ye starts out plotting against her, she out-thinks him instead of waiting to be spared. His respect is earned, not given, which is what elevates this past a standard marriage-of-convenience plot. The power in the relationship visibly shifts toward her as the story goes on. Even though the second half turns into a festival of cliches, the narrative keeps one riveted as we see how these two clever individuals find common ground between them.

The three men, who once reigned at the top of their respective fields, find themselves exiled to the remote island of Yeongseon after a mysterious incident. There, they begin a bittersweet and comedic quest to uncover the truth about the fateful day from 10 years ago that changed their lives.
The drama centers on the story of former National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent Jung Ho Myung (Shin Ha Kyun), North Korean operative Bong Jae Soon (Oh Jung Se), who lost his memory after an unexpected accident, and gangster Kang Beom Ryong (Heo Sung Tae), who is pursuing Jung Ho Myung. All three are now on Yeongseon Island following an operation that failed 10 years ago.
The newly released stills feature a strong supporting cast of talented veteran actors including Han Ji Eun, Kim Sang Ho, Hyun Bong Sik, Shin Dong Mi, Lee Soon Won, Lee Han Wi, Kim Byung Ok, and Jung Suk Yong. The relationships between characters intertwined within police, organized crime, family, and power structures are expected to deliver both tension and human warmth.
Han Ji Eun plays Park Mi Kyung, a patrol officer at the Yeongseon Police Substation. She is a character who feels skeptical about corruption within the organization but never lets go of her sense of justice.
Kim Sang Ho takes on the role of Jo Seong Won, a team leader in the NIS’s anti-communist investigation unit. Although he possesses an excellent sense of intuition and a strong sense of justice, he is framed due to internal betrayal and ends up on the run. He later tracks the truth while hiding his identity for a long time and engages in a strong partnership with Jung Ho Myung.
Hyun Bong Sik appears as Yoo In Gu, the head of the Ingu faction. In the past, during his time with the Hwasan faction, he was overshadowed by Kang Beom Ryong and failed to make a name for himself, but he eventually grew into a core figure of the organization by leveraging his social skills. However, he lives in constant anxiety, fearing revenge from the disappeared Kang Beom Ryong and Ma Gong Bok (Lee Hak Joo).
Shin Dong Mi plays Ho Myung’s wife Kwon Oh Ran, portraying a realistic story of a married couple. As the daughter of the long-standing Ohran Restaurant, she is a character who endures the weight of reality amidst childcare, the family business, and her lethargic husband. The indifferent affection and lived-in chemistry typical of a long-married couple are expected to add warmth to the drama.
Lee Soon Won plays Geum Gang Sik, the second-in-command of the Ingu faction. He is a character who has solidified his position in the organization by relying on power rather than ability; while he is Yoo In Gu’s right-hand man, he also harbors ambitions to take that position one day.
Lee Han Wi takes on the role of CEO Kwon, the owner of Ohran Restaurant, showcasing a realistic father character who acts as the anchor for his family.
Kim Byung Ok appears as Hwang Hwa San, the boss of the Hwasan faction. Once called a legend in the organized crime world, he fell from grace after being framed for murder following a failed NIS operation. He places his final hope on Kang Beom Ryong and Ma Gong Bok, adding tension to the story.
Jung Suk Yong plays Ri Cheol Jin, the person in charge of the People’s Armed Forces’ special forces, and will act as a key figure who shakes up the board amidst power and desire.
The production team stated, “The quality of the project has been further elevated by the performances of actors such as Han Ji Eun, Kim Sang Ho, Hyun Bong Sik, and Shin Dong Mi. Please look forward to the synergy they will create with Shin Ha Kyun, Oh Jung Se, and Heo Sung Tae as well as the character-driven performances full of individuality.”
“Fifties Professionals” is set to premiere on May 22 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.
