Watch: Son Ye Jin Makes A Shocking Proposal To Ji Chang Wook In Preview Of New Drama “The Scandal”

Netflix’s upcoming drama “The Scandal” has unveiled a new intriguing preview teaser!

Based on the 2003 film “Untold Scandal,” “The Scandal” depicts the daring and dangerous love game between Lady Cho (Son Ye Jin), a woman whose exceptional talents far exceed the confines of the women’s quarters, and Cho Won (Ji Chang Wook), the greatest playboy of Joseon. Their risky wager ensnares another woman, Hui Yeon (Nana), who becomes entangled in their escalating deception. The series tells a story steeped in forbidden love and irresistible seduction in an era when such passions were not permitted.

The new teaser begins with Cho Won riding a horse on his way to Hanyang in response to a letter from Lady Cho asking him to come see her.

The two eventually meet in Lady Cho’s room, where a tense atmosphere fills the space as they face each other once again.

“I have a favor to ask of you,” Lady Cho says before revealing the reason she summoned him. She makes the bold request that Cho Won get So Ok (Shin Yoon Ha), a woman intended to become a concubine in the family, pregnant.

Faced with the unexpected proposal, Cho Won appears deep in thought as he tilts his head and rubs his chin. Lady Cho then challenges him to show off his “skills.”

“I hear you have spent your years plucking every pretty flower beyond Hanyang. Then show me, this once, how much you have changed,” she says.

After giving the request some thought, Cho Won responds with a question of his own: “Do you still hold me in your heart?” This intriguing exchange raises questions about their complicated history and what lies ahead.

Kim Ji Seok Makes A Heartfelt Second Proposal To Lee Min Jung In “OK, Let’s Get Divorced”

Kim Ji Seok and Lee Min Jung face a new chance at starting over in “OK, Let’s Get Divorced.”

“OK, Let’s Get Divorced” follows the realistic divorce journey of a married couple who run a wedding dress shop as they decide to put an end to their exhausting marriage.

Spoilers

Previously, Ji Won Ho (Kim Ji Seok) and Baek Mi Young (Lee Min Jung) eventually learned that they had each been coping with the loss of their child in their own ways. After discovering that Ji Won Ho had gone fishing instead of appearing for a court-ordered home investigation, Baek Mi Young later learned that he had buried their child’s ashes beneath an azalea tree at the fishing spot. She finally realized that he, too, had been carrying the pain of their loss for years, despite struggling to express his grief.

Later, Baek Mi Young went to church and confessed her lingering resentment toward Ji Won Ho. After accidentally overhearing her confession, Ji Won Ho also broke down, and the two began to let go of their years of misunderstandings with a tearful kiss.

In the upcoming episode, Ji Won Ho makes another attempt to win Baek Mi Young back with a second proposal. Ji Won Ho teams up with Kang Kyung Tae (Jung Eui Jae) and Song Ari (Wang Bit Na) to prepare the event. While Ji Won Ho and Song Ari are visibly excited, Kang Kyung Tae’s oddly tense face adds a sense of tension to the proposal.

Notably, Kang Kyung Tae knows clues related to Baek Mi Young’s miscarriage three years ago. He also keeps a brooch she once lost in his drawer, leaving questions about what he may be hiding and whether his secret could throw an unexpected wrench into Ji Won Ho’s plans.

When the day of the proposal finally arrives, a nervous Ji Won Ho takes the microphone and pours out his feelings to Baek Mi Young. He even sings for her, expressing his sincere desire to be together again.

However, Baek Mi Young’s expression reveals mixed emotions. Although she initially seems moved by his confession, her expression soon hardens as tears well up in her eyes. Having only recently come to understand each other’s pain, viewers are left wondering what is going through her mind.

Episode 10 of “OK, Let’s Get Divorced” airs on September 17 at 11 p.m. KST.

Lee Ju Myoung Secretly Visits Jin Goo In Jail To Make An Unexpected Proposal On “Reborn Rookie”

JTBC’s “Reborn Rookie” has shared a glimpse of a secret meeting between Lee Ju Myoung and Jin Goo!

“Reborn Rookie” is a drama that tells the story of Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choiseong Group. After an accident, he unexpectedly finds himself living an unwanted second life when his soul is swapped into the youthful body of soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young), forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.

Spoilers

As half-siblings and heirs to Choiseong Group, Kang Bang Geul (Lee Ju Myoung) and Kang Jae Seong (Jin Goo) have long had a fraught relationship. Not only has Kang Jae Seong looked down on Kang Bang Geul at every turn, but he has also treated her mother coldly.

This rift between the two half-siblings only grew deeper after Kang Bang Geul joined Choiseong Group, where she repeatedly thwarted Kang Jae Seong’s plans together with Hwang Jun Hyun (who is now actually Kang Yong Ho).

However, despite the bad blood between them, newly released stills from the drama’s next episode show Kang Bang Geul paying Kang Jae Seong a secret visit in jail. There, she makes him an unexpected offer that no one could have predicted.

The serious expression on Kang Bang Geul’s face hints at her resolve and just how much thought she has put into this meeting. Meanwhile, in contrast to Kang Bang Geul’s cool composure, Kang Jae Seong is visibly startled after hearing what she has to say. After staring at her in shock, Kang Jae Seong lowers his head in deep contemplation, seemingly lost in thought.
