BIGHIT MUSIC Shares Update On Legal Action To Protect CORTIS’s Rights

BIGHIT MUSIC has shared an update on its ongoing legal efforts to protect CORTIS’s rights and privacy.

On September 16, the agency announced that it reported two foreign suspects to the police after they trespassed on CORTIS’s residence in July. The suspects admitted to illegally purchasing information about the artists’ accommodation address and entering the residence without authorization. They were referred to the prosecution without detention on charges of jointly trespassing upon a residence, but the prosecution ultimately decided not to indict them. BIGHIT MUSIC stated that it plans to formally object to the decision and seek a re-evaluation of the case.

The agency also emphasized that it will continue taking legal action against various acts that infringe upon CORTIS members’ rights, including malicious slander and insults, personal attacks, spreading false information by distorting the artists’ words or actions, sexual harassment, and other violations of their personal rights.

We are continuously monitoring and taking legal action against acts that threaten the privacy and safety of CORTIS members or infringe upon their rights and interests. We would like to provide an update on the progress of our recent legal actions and our approach to addressing acts that infringe upon their rights and interests.

1. Results of Legal Action Regarding Trespassing Upon CORTIS Members’ Residence

In connection with trespassing upon the artists’ residence that occurred around July of this year, we reported two foreign suspects to the police immediately after the incident and have actively cooperated with the investigation. At the scene, the suspects admitted that they had illegally purchased information about the artists’ accommodation address through social media and entered the residence without authorization. They were referred to the prosecution without detention on charges of jointly trespassing upon a residence and have received a suspension of indictment.

A suspension of indictment means that while the prosecution has confirmed the criminal charges against the suspects, they have decided to close the case without formally indicting them. We view acts such as trespassing and the buying or selling of personal information—which pose a direct threat to our artist’s safety and privacy—with the utmost gravity. Accordingly, we plan to seek a re-evaluation of the non-prosecution decision through formal objection procedures.

Going to an artist’s accommodation or buying and selling information about their accommodation constitutes an unequivocal criminal act. Unauthorized entry into not only the private residential areas but also shared entrances, communal stairways, hallways, and elevators constitutes the criminal offense of trespassing upon a residence, and when two or more individuals enter together, the offense is subject to aggravated punishment. Even if it is out of simple curiosity, please refrain from entering artists’ accommodations or residences under any circumstances.

2. Response to Infringements Upon CORTIS Members’ Rights and Interests and Malicious Posts

We are also monitoring and taking legal action against various online acts that infringe upon the rights and interests of CORTIS members.

Recently, we have identified numerous malicious posts that include malicious slander and insults directed at the artists, personal attacks, the distortion of the artists’ words or actions to spread false information, sexual harassment, and other acts that infringe upon their personal rights.

We are comprehensively collecting relevant evidence through monitoring of major domestic and international online communities and portals, social media platforms, and music streaming sites, as well as through reports submitted by fans. Although open discussion and criticism of our artists and their music are expected, any actions that cross into infringing on our artists’ rights will be met with strict legal action to the fullest extent possible. In particular, if such conduct is repeatedly identified, we will respond firmly in accordance with our principles, regardless of the offender’s nationality and without settlement or leniency.

3. Response Regarding the Privacy and Safety of Artists at Airports and On Board Aircraft

We are continuously strengthening on-site security measures to protect the artists’ privacy and safety during transit, including at airports. Please refrain from the following conduct, as it may infringe upon the artists’ privacy and safety and cause inconvenience to other passengers and airport users.

– Boarding the same flight using illegally obtained information about the artists’ flight tickets, or secretly taking videos or photographs of the artists after boarding
– Attempting to give items to artists who are sleeping or otherwise resting on board, or attempting physical contact with them; following the artists as they move about the aircraft or waiting near them
– Arbitrarily changing the in-flight meals or other food provided to the artists or accompanying staff
– Tracking the artists’ movements through airports and boarding areas, waiting for extended periods of time, or following them by vehicle to their destination or accommodation after arrival

We are collecting evidence regarding individuals who repeatedly engage in such stalking despite fan etiquette notices and multiple verbal warnings given on-site, and we intend to take the necessary legal measures. We are also closely monitoring any attempts to distort the facts concerning the artists or staff in connection with these matters or to spread false information. We ask everyone to follow airport rules and fan etiquette so that all passengers can use airports safely.

The sniper’s method reminded Yu Bo Na of her past days in Russia, where she had clashed fiercely with Layla (Lee Elijah). Jung Hae In Tries To Protect Amnesiac Ha Young As Heo Sung Tae Hunts Her Down In “Our Sticky Love”

Netflix’s upcoming series “Our Sticky Love” has unveiled new character stills!

“Our Sticky Love” is a sweet romantic comedy that follows Go Eun Sae (Ha Young), an amnesiac prosecutor who suddenly finds herself living under the same roof with Jang Tae Ha (Jung Hae In), a boxing coach who claims he’s her boyfriend. Set in a quiet countryside village lined with yeot (traditional Korean taffy) shops, their unexpected cohabitation sparks a quirky, heart-fluttering romance that’s as sweet—and sticky—as its setting.

The newly released stills showcase two very different sides of Jang Tae Ha, the self-proclaimed boyfriend of Go Eun Sae. In one, he flashes a bright, carefree smile while dressed casually at his boxing gym. In another, he appears with neatly styled hair and an impeccably tailored black suit, his intense gaze hinting at a far more serious side. The stark contrast between his easygoing demeanor and his solemn presence raises questions about the secrets Jang Tae Ha is hiding.

Describing Jang Tae Ha as “the definition of a devoted romantic,” Jung Hae In said, “He’s someone who always does his best to protect the person he loves, no matter the circumstances. At the same time, he has an unexpectedly clumsy and awkward side that makes him charming.”

He continued, “I tried to naturally portray the differences in his emotions and attitude throughout each stage of his life—from a struggling boxer to an executive within a crime organization. After Tae Ha reunites with Go Eun Sae, I paid particular attention to capturing his inner conflicts and the lengths he goes to in order to protect her.”

Ha Young’s character Go Eun Sae also promises to showcase a wide range of charms. One still captures her waking up in a small rural hospital after losing all of her memories and suffering injuries. Another reveals her life before the accident, when she was known as Go Ji Won, an elite prosecutor who would stop at nothing to get the job done. While pursuing a violent crime organization in hopes of advancing her career, Go Ji Won becomes caught in an unexpected accident.

Speaking about her character, Ha Young shared, “Go Ji Won spent her life relentlessly chasing her goals without looking back. But after losing her memories, she’s stripped away from everything that once defined her and gradually returns to her true self. Watching her grow through the love she receives from Jang Tae Ha and the people around her made me want to root for her. Even when she makes mistakes, she’s a character you can’t help but love.”

The newly released stills also introduce Baek Sang Gil (Heo Sung Tae), the boss of the criminal organization Jang Tae Ha once belonged to. Having completely erased his criminal past and built a new identity, Baek Sang Gil exudes an intimidating aura, his piercing gaze hinting at his ruthless nature. Believing he had successfully eliminated prosecutor Go Ji Won—the person who knew his weakness—he begins hunting her down after learning she is still alive.

Returning as the drama’s formidable villain, Heo Sung Tae described Baek Sang Gil as “a character whose mere presence heightens the tension of the story.” He explained, “I thought a lot about how to portray the contrast between the image he presents in society and his true self. I wanted him to remain calm and composed while also bringing out the cold, ruthless cruelty at his core.”

Director Kim Jang Han also expressed his confidence in the cast. “Jung Hae In was the perfect fit for Jang Tae Ha, a character who needed to be strong yet sweet, while also having an adorably awkward side. Whether it was romantic comedy or intense action scenes, he excelled across the board,” he said.

Praising the rest of the cast, the director added, “Ha Young’s naturally warm and emotional personality allowed her to make Go Eun Sae lovable, even in moments when the character could have come across as unlikeable. As for Baek Sang Gil, I needed an actor who could portray him as more than just a straightforward villain, and Heo Sung Tae brought the character to life with his rich performance and creative ideas.”

CORTIS’s agency BIGHIT MUSIC has provided an update on its legal action to protect the group’s rights.

Based on our real-time, ongoing monitoring efforts and the valuable reports submitted by COER, we regularly pursue criminal complaints against acts that infringe upon our artists’ rights. We would like to provide an update on our recent legal actions.

1. Legal Action Against Malicious Posts and Other Violations of Artist Rights

We have identified posts and comments infringing upon the artists’ rights across a wide range of online platforms, including major online communities, portal sites, social media accounts, and music streaming platforms. The subjects of our recent complaints include malicious posts and comments containing disparagement and insults directed at the artists, the dissemination of clearly false information regarding the artists and the performance of their albums and music releases as well as content that manipulates the artists’ images in a manner that infringes upon their dignity and causes sexual humiliation.

The illicit creation and circulation of harmful content aimed at the artists is particularly grave, especially as many of the members are still minors. Accordingly, we have strongly emphasized the gravity of these matters to the investigative authorities and requested thorough investigations and strict punishment under our zero-tolerance policy, without settlement or leniency.

In addition, with the cooperation of Weverse, we have imposed usage restrictions on accounts that have posted content infringing upon the artists’ rights within the CORTIS Weverse community. We are also promptly reporting and requesting the removal of malicious content identified on various other platforms whenever possible.

2. Investigation Into Accounts Illegally Distributing Flight Information

As previously announced in the notice titled “[NOTICE] Fostering a Healthy Culture at CORTIS Concerts and Maintaining Order at Airports,” investigations are currently underway following the submission of criminal complaints in May against multiple heavy-uploading accounts that illegally sold the artists’ flight information through social media and other online channels.

Both the sale and purchase of artists’ flight information constitute violation of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Information and Communications Network Act, and other applicable laws. We will continue to actively cooperate with law enforcement authorities and maintain ongoing monitoring efforts to eradicate the illegal distribution of such information. We ask COER to refrain from buying or selling any personal information relating to the artists, including flight information.

3. Strong Response to Privacy Violations and Fan Etiquette Violations

We are also actively responding to conduct that infringes upon the artists’ privacy or threatens their safety. Recently, we identified numerous instances of privacy violations and fan etiquette violations and have taken measures including police reports, verbal warnings, and the deletion of unauthorized recordings.

● Unauthorized entry into or loitering around private spaces such as the artists’ residence parking facilities, causing distress and anxiety to the artists
● Participating in events attended by the artists as staff members or affiliated personnel in order to approach the artists for personal purposes or attempt private conversations
● Regarding the conduct of visiting artists at undisclosed activities not officially announced and/or following artists’ movements during their personal schedules
● Taking unauthorized photographs of the artists from close proximity while they were sleeping or resting in airport lounges or on aircraft or persistently following the artists

Recently in the course of our artists carrying out scheduled activities in Paris, we were forced to issue warnings against egregious and unlawful conduct by fans, including attaching small GPS devices to vehicles transporting artists and using information from vehicles and drivers to track artist movements during their undisclosed and personal itinerary.

There have also been instances where individuals—who have already been restricted from participating in fan events due to etiquette violations—have continued to harass artists by standing by inside hotels stayed by artists and loitering near artists’ seats during flights despite their seats being located in another area of the aircraft. As all such conduct violates fan etiquette, we have intervened and issued warnings to the applicable individuals.

Please note that, if fan etiquette violators engage in verbal abuse, physical assault, or other harmful conduct toward on-site security or operations personnel that are intervening and warning against unpermitted fan behavior, or misrepresent and spread false information regarding our legitimate actions for artist protection, we will actively take responsive measures by reviewing all available legal remedies.

We place the highest priority on the safety and privacy of the members of CORTIS and will continue to respond strictly to fan etiquette violations of this nature. We ask for COER’s cooperation in fostering a mature and respectful fandom culture.

Billlie’s Agency To Take Legal Action To Protect Members Against Violation Of Their Rights

Mystic Story has announced that it will be taking legal action to protect the members of Billlie.

On April 23, Mystic Story released an official statement announcing its plans to take legal action against “ongoing acts that seriously infringe upon [Billlie’s] fundamental rights, including, but not limited to, sexual harassment, malicious defamation, the spread of false information, and personal attacks through the artist’s personal social media accounts.”

First, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to the fans who have shown unwavering love and support for our artist, Billlie.

We have recently confirmed ongoing acts that seriously infringe upon the artist’s fundamental rights, including, but not limited to, sexual harassment, malicious defamation, the spread of false information, and personal attacks through the artist’s personal social media accounts.

While the artist has previously shown patience in order to maintain communication with fans, the continued recurrence of such conduct has now exceeded acceptable boundaries. This is causing significant mental distress and serious disruption to the artist’s daily life. To protect our artist, we hereby announce that we will be pursuing strong legal action as follows:

Scope of Legal Action
Sending Direct Messages (DMs) containing harmful content to the artist’s personal accounts.
Sexual harassment, insults, or mockery in comments on posts.
The creation and distribution of any malicious or defamatory content.

Legal Response Policy
Mystic Story will take all possible legal measures, including filing criminal complaints, against the aforementioned acts.
We will strictly maintain a zero-tolerance policy, with no settlements or leniency under any circumstances.

We have already secured evidence through continuous internal monitoring and valuable reports from fans. We will continue to collect evidence and hold the perpetrators accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

We remain fully committed to providing the artist with a safe, healthy, and stable environment and shall take every possible measure to eradicate criminal acts that infringe upon the artist’s rights.
