This week, SBS’s “Agent Kim Reactivated” rose to No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.
Not only did “Agent Kim Reactivated” top the list of the most buzzworthy dramas, but its star So Ji Sub also continued his reign at No. 1 on the list of the most buzzworthy drama cast members, followed by his co-star Yoon Kyung Ho at No. 6.
In its final week on air, JTBC’s “Reborn Rookie” swept the No. 2 spots on both lists. The hit series jumped to No. 2 on the drama list, in addition to claiming three of the top 10 spots on this week’s actor list: Lee Jun Young rose to No. 2, Son Hyun Joo to No. 8, and Jeon Hye Jin to No. 9.
The next spots on both lists went to Netflix’s “Notes from the Last Row,” which took No. 3 on this week’s drama list, while stars Choi Min Sik and Choi Hyun Wook came in at No. 3 and No. 4 on the actor list.

July Drama Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for dramas!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 21 popular dramas, using big data collected from June 9 to July 9.
“Agent Kim Reactivated” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 10,334,054. High-ranking phrases in the drama’s keyword analysis included “So Ji Sub,” “Yoon Kyung Ho,” and “viewership ratings,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “solid,” “surpass,” and “success.” The show’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 94.79 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, “My Royal Nemesis” took second place with a brand reputation index of 7,851,200.
“Reborn Rookie” ranked third with a brand reputation index of 7,238,485, while “Teach You a Lesson” came in at a close fourth with a score of 7,119,086.
Finally, “Recipe for Love” rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 6,685,595.

On July 5, the hit drama achieved the highest viewership ratings of its entire run with its series finale, which featured a surprise cameo by ITZY’s Ryujin. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of “Reborn Rookie” soared to an average nationwide rating of 13.6 percent, marking a jump of nearly 3 full percentage points from the night prior.
The finale of “Reborn Rookie” was also the most-watched show of Sunday among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned an average nationwide rating of 4.8 percent.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s new drama “The Husband” rose to an average nationwide rating of 6.4 percent for its second episode, marking a jump of 2 full percentage points from its premiere the night before.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Recipe for Love” remained the most-watched program of Sunday, scoring an average nationwide rating of 15.5 percent for its latest episode.

ITZY’s Ryujin Makes Surprise Cameo In “Reborn Rookie” Finale
ITZY’s Ryujin made a surprise appearance in the final episode of JTBC’s “Reborn Rookie”!
“Reborn Rookie” is a drama that tells the story of Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choiseong Group. After an accident, he unexpectedly finds himself living an unwanted second life when his soul is swapped into the youthful body of soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young), forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.
On July 5, the hit drama aired its highly-anticipated series finale, and to viewers’ delight, Ryujin made a surprise cameo as herself towards the end of the episode.
Spoilers
The final episode of the drama ended with a shocking twist: just when it seemed that everything and everyone had returned to their rightful places, another crisis was waiting around the corner for Hwang Jun Hyun. When Kang Yong Ho caught his daughter Kang Bang Geul (Lee Ju Myoung) kissing Hwang Jun Hyun, he raced angrily in their direction, leading to another soul-swapping collision.
This time, however, Ryujin accidentally walked right into the collision as well, causing the unfortunate idol to magically swap souls with Hwang Jun Hyun. What ensued was a comic scene in which Hwang Jun Hyun—now in Ryujin’s body—began laughing in shocked disbelief that this had happened to him a second time.
Meanwhile, a bewildered Ryujin—now in Hwang Jun Hyun’s body—struggled to process what was going on.
Then, when her staff attempted to lead Hwang Jun Hyun away, thinking he was Ryujin, the real Ryujin attempted to prove her identity by dancing to ITZY’s choreography.
The result was a hilarious moment in which actor Lee Jun Young, who originally debuted as a member of U-KISS, reminded everyone he was once an idol by performing the iconic shoulder dance from ITZY’s smash hit “WANNABE.”

The stars of JTBC’s “Reborn Rookie” shared their final thoughts ahead of tonight’s series finale!
“Reborn Rookie” is a drama that tells the story of Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choiseong Group. After an accident, he unexpectedly finds himself living an unwanted second life when his soul is swapped into the youthful body of soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young), forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.
With just one episode left in the drama’s run, the starring cast took a moment to look back on “Reborn Rookie” and what it meant to them.
Lee Jun Young, who is preparing to enlist in the military on July 21, remarked, “Thanks to director Ko Hye Jin and the amazing cast and crew, I think I was able to gain a valuable experience and see good things before my military enlistment, so I’m grateful.”
He went on to express his gratitude to the drama’s viewers by saying, “To the viewers who joined us late at night to keep an eye on the situation at Choiseong Group, I hope your lives will always be full of peace and happiness.”
Meanwhile, Lee Ju Myoung conveyed her affection for her character, sharing, “I think I will remember the courage and strength of the character of Kang Bang Geul for a long time.”

SBS’s “Agent Kim Reactivated” shows no signs of slowing down!
On July 4, viewership ratings for the new action revenge drama soared past the 20 percent mark. According to Nielsen Korea, the fourth episode of “Agent Kim Reactivated” jumped to an average nationwide rating of 21.6 percent, making it the most-watched drama of any kind to air in 2026.
Additionally, just four episodes into its run, “Agent Kim Reactivated” has already achieved the third-highest viewership ratings of any Friday-Saturday drama in SBS history. To date, “Agent Kim Reactivated” has been bested only by the hit dramas “The Penthouse 2” and “The Fiery Priest.”
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s new drama “The Husband” premiered to an average nationwide rating of 4.4 percent for its first episode.
JTBC’s “Reborn Rookie,” which has just one episode left in its run, earned its highest ratings to date for a Saturday (when its ratings have generally been lower compared to Sundays) ahead of its series finale. The penultimate episode of the drama scored an average nationwide rating of 10.8 percent.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Recipe for Love” earned an average nationwide rating of 13.6 percent for the night.

JTBC’s “Reborn Rookie” is a drama that tells the story of Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choiseong Group.
