The cast of SBS’s “My Royal Nemesis” has shared their favorite scenes from the drama!

“My Royal Nemesis” is a romantic comedy starring Lim Ji Yeon as Shin Seo Ri, a struggling actress who is suddenly possessed by the spirit of a notorious villainess from the Joseon era. Heo Nam Jun stars as Cha Se Gye, a ruthless chaebol heir who is known as a “monster created by capitalism.”

With just two episodes left until the drama’s conclusion, the main leads of “My Royal Nemesis,” Lim Ji Yeon, Heo Nam Jun, and Jang Seung Jo picked their favorite scenes from the drama.

First, Lim Ji Yeon selected the episode 7 ending scene as her favorite. The scene drew attention for its fairy tale-like direction as Seo Ri charges forward to keep a promise she made with Se Gye.

Lim Ji Yeon also picked her most memorable line from the show. She explained, “It’s the scene where Seo Ri honestly expresses her feelings, saying, ‘Even if I fall apart, even if I break, it’s okay.’ This line feels the most like Seo Ri and perfectly conveys her unwavering sincerity and courage toward Se Gye, which is why it is especially memorable to me.”Lim Ji Yeon, Heo Nam Jun, And Jang Seung Jo Pick Their Favorite Scenes From “My Royal Nemesis”插图

Heo Nam Jun chose the episode 3 ending scene as his favorite. He recalled, “It was the scene I was most immersed in while filming. It left a strong impression on me because it marked the real beginning of Seo Ri and Se Gye’s relationship.”

But when I watched the broadcast, I was amazed by how perfectly the camera work, lighting, editing, and music came together.”

The two leads end up in a complicated relationship where Han Kyul falls in love with Eun Chan while thinking she’s a boy, and Eun Chan doesn’t muster up the courage to reveal her real gender to Han Kyul.

If we’re talking about epic confessions, this one can never be left out. Even without knowing the truth about Eun Chan’s identity, Choi Han Kyul was willing to be with her no matter what. Nothing mattered more to him than how deeply he cared for her. The yearning and chemistry between these two have truly stood the test of time, and there has never been another confession scene quite as unforgettable as this one.

Who doesn’t love a “friends to lovers” storyline? One of the best parts of this series is seeing the two childhood friends bickering and bantering with each other, poking fun and teasing each other. But what beats this is the eventual confession and reveal of Joon Hyung’s feelings for Bok Joo. After having gone through a lot of emotional obstacles in their respective lives, Joon Hyung realizes that Bok Joo is the only person who truly understands and knows him, which is why this confession scene is all the more heartfelt!

Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do star in “Hospital Playlist” as a group of five doctors who have been friends since medical school. The five of them all work at the same hospital, Yulje Medical Center. The story follows their friendship as well as the romance and patients that they deal with day to day. They also happen to form a band together.

One of the most memorable confession scenes in the series comes from the long-awaited romance between Ik Jun (Jo Jung Suk) and Song Hwa (Jeon Mi Do). After years of friendship, lingering feelings, and missed timing, Ik Jun finally opens up about how he feels, and it’s the sincerity of the moment that makes it so emotional. There are no grand gestures or dramatic interruptions, just two people who know each other better than anyone finally confronting feelings that have been there all along.

Kwon Yul Is Unpredictable New Threat Pulling Strings Behind The Scenes In “Fifties Professionals”

“Fifties Professionals” has unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!

“Fifties Professionals” is an action-comedy about three seemingly ordinary but secretly dangerous middle-aged men who are brought back into action by destiny. The three men, who once reigned at the top of their respective fields, find themselves exiled to the remote island of Yeongseon after a mysterious incident. There, they begin a bittersweet and comedic quest to uncover the truth about the fateful day from 10 years ago that changed their lives.

Spoilers

Previously on “Fifties Professionals,” the truth about a passenger ship incident from 10 years ago, along with a search for a missing USB drive, unfolds. The episodes also depicted Jung Ho Myung (Shin Ha Kyun), Bong Jae Soon (Oh Jung Se), and Kang Beom Ryong (Heo Sung Tae)’s violent fight aboard the ship in the past to a present-day chase that shakes Yeongseon Island.

Notably, Kang Beom Ryong, the No. 2 figure of Hwasan Gang who had been lying dormant, made a powerful return by breaking through an iron door.

In the upcoming episode, Kwon Yul appears as Chairman Do, the sponsor and powerful financial backer of Han Kyung Wook (Kim Sang Kyung).

The stills show Chairman Do with an unusual sense of style. He wears a neat suit jacket paired with pajama pants, striking exaggerated poses and flashing a smile with unclear intent, revealing his character’s odd yet irritating charm.

In more stills, Chairman Do is seen face-to-face with Han Kyung Wook’s right-hand man Yoo In Gu (Hyun Bong Sik). Yoo In Gu appears caught off guard, staring at Chairman Do with a stiff expression, raising curiosity about what tense exchange may have taken place between the two.

Chairman Do is also shown overpowering others with a sly attitude. His constantly shifting expressions and moods suggest a dangerous mindset in which he treats people like pieces on a chessboard.

It remains to be seen what kind of cracks Chairman Do, as a key backer of Han Kyung Wook, will create in the balance of power on Yeongseon island, and how he may serve as a variable for Jung Ho Myung, Bong Jae Soon, and Kang Beom Ryong.

5 Best K-Drama Crying Scenes That Hit Hard

K-dramas are known for sweeping romances and emotional storytelling, but it’s often the most vulnerable moments that leave the deepest impact. When a lead lets their guard down and tears fall, it reveals something deeply human that’s impossible to forget.

Here are a few of the many most memorable scenes.

Warning: spoilers for the dramas below.

1. Lee Junho in “The Red Sleeve”

5 Best K-Drama Crying Scenes That Hit Hard插图

“The Red Sleeve” is a historical K-drama that tells the story of an emperor named Yi San (Lee Junho) who falls in love with a court lady named Seong Deok Im (Lee Se Young). Despite their differences in class and status, the two engage in a deep romance while trying to fight for their nation.

The series is filled with emotional moments, but it’s the ending that hits hardest. After Deok Im’s passing, Lee Junho delivers one of the most devastating performances in the entire drama. His grief isn’t restrained, it completely overtakes him. He’s not just crying, he’s undone, mourning the woman he loved and the life they never got to live. It lingers long after the scene ends.

2. Ji Chang Wook in “Lovestruck in the City”

5 Best K-Drama Crying Scenes That Hit Hard插图1

Park Jae Won (Ji Chang Wook), a passionate architect, can’t get over a mysterious woman who took his heart and his camera. Lee Eun Oh (Kim Ji Won), an ordinary woman, begins living as the carefree Yun Seon Ah and catches his attention. But due to unexpected circumstances, Eun Oh is forced to walk away from Jae Won, only for their paths to cross again later.

Few performances capture heartbreak as messily and honestly as Ji Chang Wook here. His character clings to memories that no longer exist, unable to let go. When everything finally spills out after one too many drinks, the result is one of the rawest emotional scenes in the series. It’s messy, aching, and painfully real, carrying all the frustration and longing he’s been holding in.

3. Son Ye Jin in “Thirty-Nine”

5 Best K-Drama Crying Scenes That Hit Hard插图2

“Thirty-Nine” follows three best friends on the edge of turning 40 as they navigate life, love, and loss together. Their bond holds them through every high and low, especially as one of them faces a devastating illness that changes everything.

Son Ye Jin carries much of the emotional weight of the story, but it’s the moment her best friend passes that truly breaks everything open. Her reaction feels unfiltered, like grief arriving all at once with no time to prepare. The shock, pain, and heartbreak hit simultaneously, and her tears say everything she can’t.

4. Park Hyung Sik in “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon”

5 Best K-Drama Crying Scenes That Hit Hard插图3

“Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” stars Park Bo Young as an aspiring game maker who was born with super strength. She meets Ahn Min Hyuk (Park Hyung Sik), the CEO of a game company who happens to be in need of a bodyguard. He ends up hiring Do Bong Soon with the added bonus of letting her develop a game while she works for him.

Known for his charm and lighthearted energy, Park Hyung Sik shows surprising emotional depth here. His most powerful crying scene comes as Min Hyuk desperately tries to save Bong Soon, trapped behind a locked door with a bomb strapped to her. Panic and fear take over, stripping away his usual composure. That contrast makes the moment hit even harder, turning a rom-com scene into something unexpectedly heartbreaking.

5. Park Bo Gum in “Good Boy”

5 Best K-Drama Crying Scenes That Hit Hard插图4

In “Good Boy,” Park Bo Gum delivers crying scenes that feel completely real. As his character begins to lose his sight, his emotions surface all at once, driven by fear, frustration, and the weight of what he’s about to lose. You can feel the panic in the moments where he realizes his vision is slipping, and it makes every tear hit harder. It’s that unfiltered vulnerability that makes his performance so believable and impossible to shake.

In one especially heartbreaking moment, Yoon Dong Ju (Park Bo Gum) is speaking with Kim Jong Hyun (Lee Sang Yi) when everything suddenly becomes blurred. As he realizes he is going blind, panic sets in. His eyes fill with tears as he admits he can no longer see anything. It’s a moment that captures fear, shock, and helplessness all at once, making his vulnerability impossible to ignore.

Watch: IU And Byeon Woo Seok Perfect Their Waltz And Kiss Scenes On Set Of “Perfect Crown”

MBC’s “Perfect Crown” has shared a new behind-the-scenes video for episode 6!

In the newly released making-of video, IU shares, “We practiced yesterday and last week. Honestly, we’ve only practiced twice.” Explaining that their teacher taught them well, she playfully adds, “I’m doing a good job.”

While rehearsing the waltz, IU tells Byeon Woo Seok the various tips she learned from their dance teacher, such as how to bow and get pulled in. The two struggle to hold in their laughter throughout practice.

When asked what they thought about their waltz chemistry, Byeon Woo Seok answers. “It’s practically perfect.” IU honestly answers, “I was a bit nervous yesterday—I felt a bit stiff. But dancing for the second time today….” As she drifts off, both IU and Byeon Woo Seok jokingly answer, “It’s as if we’ve been dancing together all our lives,” even giving a demonstration in front of the camera.

After filming the waltz scene, the making-of camera asks the lead actors which partner they felt more compatible with when dancing. Gong Seung Yeon picks Noh Sang Hyun as he appears next to her, however, she whispers and mouths to the camera that her actual answer is Byeon Woo Seok.

Meanwhile, Byeon Woo Seok hilariously picks Noh Sang Hyun, while Noh Sang Hyun comments, “I think I’m the problem.” Byeon Woo Seok further states, “Hui Ju (IU) was gentle while Irang (Gong Seung Yeon) was sharp.” IU concludes by sharing, “I didn’t work well with either of them. The two must have also felt the same about me. We honestly all don’t know about waltz, so we can’t talk about chemistry yet. Both were difficult.”

Furthermore, the cast and crew surprise Byeon Woo Seok on his birthday with a cake and flowers. IU jokingly pretends to throw the cake at Byeon Woo Seok, drawing laughter. Child actor Kim Eun Ho sweetly sings Byeon Woo Seok a birthday song and passes out candy.

The making-of video ends with a behind-the-scenes look at IU and Byeon Woo Seok’s romantic kiss scene, which is filled with smiles and laughter as they perfect the timing.
