This Is Fire Season 9 is almost here, and the competition in Grandmaster Chef Jojo’s kitchen has never been more demanding. Eight new OnlyFans creators will have their timing, precision, and composure tested at every turn. Only one will face off against season 8’s Gal Ritchie. What are the This Is Fire Season 9 contestants up against? Keep reading to see what’s on the menu.

S9E1 — Sweet & Spicy Korean Fried Chicken Bao

Kylie Rocket vs. Girthmaster

Season 9 opens with a bold showdown between Kylie Rocket and Girthmaster as they take on sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken bao. With crispy chicken, pillowy bao, and sauce that must complement rather than overwhelm, this precision-driven challenge sets the tone for the rest of the season.

Perfecting fried chicken under pressure is no easy task. Oil temperature, batter consistency, and timing all play a critical role. Even a small imbalance can throw off the entire dish.

S9E2 — Signature Ramen

Salome Munoz vs. Willow Harper

Salome Munoz and Willow Harper face off in a signature ramen challenge that places technique and attention to detail front and center. Ramen is a deceptively complex dish in which broth depth, seasoning balance, and texture must work in harmony.

Every element is under the microscope, from noodle consistency to the richness of the broth. Small mistakes are difficult to hide, especially from Chef Jojo.

S9E3 — Cacio e Pepe with Bucatini

Lela Star vs. Natalia Starr

Cacio e pepe with bucatini brings a deceptively simple challenge to the floor as Lela Star and Natalia Starr go head-to-head with one of Italian cuisine’s most unforgiving classics. With just a handful of ingredients, each component is on display, and every decision, from pasta water to cheese integration, matters.

This is a dish that demands restraint and control, rewarding technique over flashy additions. When simplicity is the name of the game, execution is everything.

S9E4 — Berry Ricotta Pancakes and Bratwurst

Sinatra Monroe vs. Haley Reed

Berry ricotta pancakes and bratwurst offer a challenge built on contrast for Sinatra Monroe and Haley Reed. To succeed, they’ll have to juggle two very distinct elements on a single plate. Light, delicate pancakes must land in harmony with rich, savory bratwurst.

Managing flavor, texture, and plating under pressure makes this a battle of both creativity and composure.

The Road to the Grand Championship

After the first four challenges, This Is Fire gets even more demanding, with only a handful of contestants still in the mix. As the competition moves to the semifinals and season 9 finale, the dishes grow more ambitious while the margin of error shrinks.

With reigning Grand Champion Gal Ritchie ready to face whoever wins season 9, the final challenge will definitely be a scorcher.

S8E1: Wagyu Country-Fried Steak

Watch on OFTV

Season 8 kicks off with a showdown between two OnlyFans icons: self-proclaimed “horse girl” Brett Rossi and detail-oriented Lisa Ann. Chef Jojo drops the challenge on them: country-fried steak, hash, white gravy – all the fixins’.

Brett dives headfirst into a “cowboy style” approach, mixing tater tot seasoning with taco seasoning for what she hopes will be diner-style perfection.

As the clock winds down, Brett adds a sunny-side egg to her plate, hoping it’ll be the winning touch. Meanwhile, Lisa’s mise en place is immaculate, but Chef Jojo keeps circling back to remind her about seasoning.

Brett Rossi says, “Cowboy style doesn’t have to be pretty,” describing her approach to country-fried steak during the challenge
Lisa Ann says, “I just made a weird gravy and I won,” reacting after winning the country-fried steak challenge

Time’s up, and both chefs present their country-fried steak to Chef Jojo. Brett’s old-school diner style earns praise for the egg and cooked potatoes, though Chef Jojo notes the lack of structure and a gravy that’s a bit too runny.

Lisa’s perfectly organized plate impresses with its beautiful hash, though the steak lacks seasoning while the hash is slightly over-salted.

Lisa Ann lassos the first win: gravy, grit, and glory intact.

S8E2: Gyro w/ Sweet Potato Fries & Salad

Watch on OFTV

The kitchen opens in a cloud of barbecue fumes as The Flesh Mechanic and Dana DeArmond face off for gyro glory. Chef Jojo drops the challenge: gyros with traditional accompaniments.

Flesh promises “trailer-trash cuisine” greatness and starts mentally spending the prize money. Once the clock starts, Dana’s precision meets Flesh’s chaos, and her early organization unravels fast with mandolin mishaps and a cross-contamination scare.

Chef Jojo says, “Chef Flesh, this is fire,” as The Flesh Mechanic celebrates winning the gyro challenge

Halfway in, everything literally combusts. Dana burns pitas, Flesh drops a watermelon, and smoke floods the room as Jojo begs for ventilation.

The final seconds are a sprint through chaos, but both plates make it. Chef Jojo digs in.

Dana’s gyro is gorgeous but overwhelmingly garlicky, while Flesh’s “trailer-trash fusion” seems to work.

In the end, The Flesh Mechanic snags the win, and the new title “Gyro Mechanic,” as Dana laughs off defeat, even if that wasn’t what she manifested.

S8E3: Fajitas w/ Arroz Rojo & Refried Beans

Watch on OFTV

Dan Dangler steps into Chef Jojo’s kitchen with one modest goal: make something edible. Natasha Nice, who rates herself a 2/10 in the kitchen, is understating her skills.

Jojo announces fajitas with rice, beans, salsa, and fresh tortillas, sending both chefs into a spiral, but at this point it’s either fiesta or fail.

Dan grabs chicken out of survival, Natasha throws rice straight into boiling water, and Dan fumbles every tool.

Dan Dangler sneezes repeatedly while cooking as Chef Jojo says, “Bless you!” during the fajitas challenge
Dan Dangler says, “I can’t believe I won,” reacting with a stunned expression after winning the fajitas challenge

As they find their footing, the heat turns literal. Dan over-seasons her veggies into a spice bomb and adds sugar in desperation, while Natasha burns her peppers and discovers her unseasoned beans are basically soup.

The final minute is a scramble, but both plates land on the table. Jojo finds Natasha’s steak solid but everything else bland. Dan’s chicken and beans shine, even if her peppers require a fire extinguisher.

When Chef Jojo makes his decision, it’s Dan who takes the win, proving “edible” can still be victorious.

S8E4: Filet O’ Fish w/ Tartar Sauce

Watch on OFTV

Gal Ritchie and Cami Strella hit the kitchen fueled by nerves and delusion. Gal blames “lazy LA” for her fading cooking skills, while Cami hopes Gal is simply worse than she is.

Chef Jojo announces a refined Filet-O-Fish with tartar sauce and leek soup, and neither has made either dish. The clock starts and chaos erupts.

Cami shreds leeks like a raccoon, Gal grabs every spice in reach, and Jojo begs someone, anyone, to salt their food as the kitchen fills with fear and white wine.

Cami Strella rips apart a leek with her hands while preparing ingredients during the Filet-O-Fish challenge
Gal Ritchie asks, “Are you sure?” as Chef Jojo nods, and she reacts with shock after being named the winner

With minutes left, the panic peaks. Gal’s tartar leans mostly Dijon, her sauce worries her (accurately), and she double-dips cod with bold incompetence.

Cami’s soup comes together, but her tartar becomes a crime scene. When time’s up, both plates shockingly include properly cooked fish paired with disastrous sauces.

Chef Jojo praises Cami’s smooth soup and Gal’s unbelievable crunch and seasoning. In a twist neither saw coming, especially Gal, Jojo crowns her the winner, sending Cami home motivated to keep cooking.

S8E5: Half Chicken w/ Pistachios, Pickles & Honey

Watch on OFTV

Only one chef can survive the semifinals, and this matchup is pure personality: Lisa Ann, calm and collected, versus Flesh Mechanic, chaos in human form.

Chef Jojo drops a curveball challenge: a half chicken with pistachios, honey, and pickles, plus three different cuts that all cook differently.

Lisa dives into a dill-honey-pickle marinade and a veggie-packed pasta side. Flesh channels his “white trash roots” with a hot-honey concept and grilled pickles. The trash talk rises, but Lisa refuses to be rattled.

The Flesh Mechanic says, “Between chicken, pistachios, pickles and honey…” as he processes the challenge ingredients mid-cook
Lisa Ann throws her head back and screams, “YES!” after winning the semifinal challenge

As time ticks down, Flesh crushes pistachios by hand and risks big flavors, while Lisa stays steady, building a colorful, balanced plate.

Both chefs narrowly slide their dishes onto the table at the buzzer. Chef Jojo loves Lisa’s crispy skin, bright pasta, and creative marinade. However, her chicken breast is a bit dry.

Flesh wows with grilled pickles, a killer hot-honey drizzle, and mostly perfect chicken… until Chef Jojo cuts into the thigh and finds it raw.

That seals it: Lisa advances to the finals, leaving Flesh furious and heartbroken.

S8E6: Gnocchi w/ Squash

Watch on OFTV

Dan Dangler and Gal Ritchie return for the semifinals, hoping grit and determination will carry them to the finals. The twist? They’re best friends, which only adds another wrinkle to the $20,000 prize.

Chef Jojo challenges them with squash blossom gnocchi made from scratch, sending both into panic mode. Dan dives into her sauce while Gal wrestles with the potato dough.

Early mind games surface as Dan mimics Gal’s British accent, leaving both contestants scrambling to find confidence and rhythm under the ticking clock.

Dan Dangler jokes, “My name’s Gal, give me some crumpets,” as Gal Ritchie responds, “Okay, Dan. We get it,” during the gnocchi challenge
Chef Jojo says, “Chef Gal, this is fire!” as Gal Ritchie reacts, “Oh my god! No f*cking way! Ahhh!” after winning the challenge

As time winds down, Dan’s sauce shines but her gnocchi is mushy, and the squash blossom is bland. Gal’s gnocchi impresses, though her sauce could’ve cooked the peas longer.

Tensions rise as flavors are judged over plating finesse. When Chef Jojo delivers his verdict, it’s Gal who advances to the finals, surprising both contestants.

The friendship survives, but only one moves forward. Gal heads into the finale ready to face the ultimate challenge.

S8E7: Open Pantry — Seafood

Watch on OFTV

In the season 8 finals, Lisa Ann squares off against Gal Ritchie in what promises to be a hotly contested championship where only one person will walk away with the $20,000 prize.

Lisa vows to change her strategy and learn from past mistakes, while Gal has done her own research on the six essential sauces and feels prepared for whatever comes her way.

Both competitors are thrown for a loop when Chef Jojo reveals that today they’ll be entering a seafood focused open pantry competition.

Gal Ritchie yells, “Oh my god, no!” as Chef Jojo announces a seafood challenge, while Lisa Ann celebrates beside her
Gal Ritchie tearfully accepts the This Is Fire plaque and says, “Thank you,” then celebrates in confessional, shouting, “I won!”

The clock starts and both chefs rush to roast their vegetables. Lisa chooses scallops, while Gal commits to halibut, despite never cooking it before. Lisa overcooks her scallops, and Gal attempts a bechamel she’s never made.

When time expires, Chef Jojo notes Gal’s dish is beautifully plated but under-seasoned, while Lisa’s scallops are “hockey pucks” and her sauce is more of a dip.

With someone needing the win, Chef Jojo crowns Gal the champion for her consistent improvement and unwavering dedication throughout the competition. Congrats to Gal on the win!

Season 8 Grand Championship: Cauliflower

Watch on OFTV

Welcome to This Is Fire: Grand Championship! Season 8’s winner, Gal Ritchie and Season 7’s winner Siri Dahl are back—boots, charms, nerves, and all.

Both expect something intense, but Chef Jojo still manages to shock them: cauliflower three ways in just 30 minutes.

Siri jumps straight into a purple purée and immediately cuts her finger (she’s okay!). Gal chooses fried rice she’s never made before, and her rice cooker refuses to cooperate.

Siri Dahl looks on with a furrowed brow, reacting with confusion during the cauliflower challenge
Gal Ritchie celebrates by tossing confetti in the air after winning the This Is Fire Grand Championship

Siri is confident with her gorgeous cauliflower steak, but her fried cauliflower batter turns out dense enough to make Chef Jojo choke.

Gal’s dish looks stunning, but her rushed fried rice is served under-cooked. During judging, Chef Jojo praises Siri’s buttery steak and bold sauce but can’t get past the dry fry.

Gal’s gochujang cauliflower earns the highest love of the night and the championship. Thanks for tuning in to season 8 of This Is Fire!
