“The Husband” is a thriller that follows Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min), a man who becomes entangled in a desperate battle against a dangerous criminal after his wife is kidnapped just before their divorce.

Ahead of the drama’s premiere, newly released stills capture a tense confrontation between Kang Tae Joo and his wife Go Se Yoon (Lee Seol).

The photos depict the couple locked in a silent standoff at a banquet attended by hospital officials, where an intense battle of nerves unfolds without a single word being spoken.

“The Husband” is a thriller starring Namkoong Min as a man on the brink of divorce who unexpectedly becomes embroiled in a desperate fight with a dangerous criminal in order to rescue his wife.

The newly released poster hints at the precarious and complicated dynamic between spouses Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min) and Go Se Yoon (Lee Seol), whose deeply troubled marriage is falling apart.

Although Kang Tae Joo appears to be embracing his wife from behind, his hand is wrapped menacingly around her throat, while she remains frozen in shock and terror. His cold expression and the fury in his eyes add to the tension and overall sense of unease, piquing curiosity about the secrets behind the couple’s fraught relationship.

Meanwhile, the shadow of a mysterious figure wielding a dangerous weapon looms behind the couple, adding another threat to the already ominous poster.

KBS has released a new teaser for its upcoming drama “The Husband”!

“The Husband” is a romance thriller that follows Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min), a man who becomes entangled in a desperate fight against a ruthless criminal in order to rescue his wife, who is kidnapped just before their divorce.

The released teaser begins with neurosurgeon Kang Tae Joo performing surgery in a tense atmosphere. In one scene, his wife Go Se Yoon (Lee Seol) is crying out, “This is all because of you,” while in another, Kang Tae Joo tells her that they should break up.

The teaser then shows Kang Tae Joo looking bewildered during a police interrogation, where he is asked, “Did you contract someone you met for the first time yesterday to murder your wife?” While he is being questioned, the video shows someone pushing a white vehicle into a lake.

Jang Tae Joo and Go Se Yoon are then facing each other in the middle of a banquet hall. Go Se Yoon declares that she is not getting a divorce, stating that she does not want to do anything he wants. In another scene, Kang Tae Joo says that he is not sure what Se Yoon actually wants, while in yet another scene, a drunk Kang Tae Joo is sitting in the back of a car while a designated driver is driving. The teaser ends with him telling the designated driver, “Please get rid of my wife.”

Namkoong Min and Lee Seol’s upcoming drama “The Completion of Marriage” (literal title) has confirmed its premiere date!

On May 14, IZE reported that “The Completion of Marriage” will premiere on July 4 at 9:20 p.m. KST as KBS2’s new Saturday-Sunday mini-series.

A KBS representative confirmed, “‘The Completion of Marriage’ will premiere on July 4.”

Starring Namkoong Min, Lee Seol, and Kim Dae Myeung, “The Completion of Marriage” is a romance thriller that follows a man who becomes entangled in a desperate fight against a ruthless criminal in order to rescue his wife, who is kidnapped just before their divorce.

Namkoong Min will lead the drama as a former neurosurgeon turned hospital director who risks his life in a relentless pursuit to save his wife. Lee Seol is starring as his kidnapped wife.

This will officially mark the return of KBS2’s weekend mini-series for the first time in approximately five months since the conclusion of “To My Beloved Thief” in February.
