Director Yeon Sang Ho’s new film “Paradise Lost” has unveiled its first poster and teaser!

On July 21, film distributor CJ ENM released a poster and teaser video for “Paradise Lost,” a new project from director Yeon Sang Ho, who helmed the films “Colony,” “Train to Busan,” “Peninsula,” and “The Face” as well as the dramas “Revelations,” “Parasyte: The Grey,” and the “Hellbound” series.

“Paradise Lost” is a thriller that follows the story of a son, Sun Woo, who returns home after nine years of being missing. So Young, who had been soothing her pain by interacting with a childhood version of her son through an artificial intelligence (AI) program while he was gone, begins to feel uneasy around the “new” Sun Woo, leading to an uncomfortable cohabitation between mother and son.

Actress Kim Hyun Joo, who previously worked with Director Yeon Sang Ho in the “Hellbound” series, plays the mother, while Bae Hyeon Seong portrays her son, forming the emotional core of the story. The mystery begins when, nine years after the disappearance of a school camping-trip bus, Ryu So Young—a mother who lost her child in the incident—sees her child return, now suddenly all grown up.

The film has been officially invited to the Special Presentations section of the 51st Toronto International Film Festival, which will be held in Canada this September. Director Yeon Sang Ho previously visited Toronto last year when he was invited for his film “The Face.”

tvN’s “Spooky in Love” has unveiled a new behind-the-scenes video!

In the newly released making-of video, Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong showcase their teamwork on set, thoughtfully taking care of each other as they film their fighting scene.

Later, Park Eun Bin welcomes viewers into her character Cheon Yeo Ri’s house, showcasing the braid she did herself.

In another scene, Park Eun Bin has a blast pretending to drive in front of the green screen. Following aggressive turns, Park Eun Bin jokes, “We have a car sick patient.” Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong can’t help but laugh after portraying their comedic yet intense scene.

After filming an action scene, the director and Park Eun Bin compliment Yang Se Jong. Impressed, Park Eun Bin states, “The action scene made me rethink what genre ‘Spooky in Love’ is.” The two continue to take care of each other, making sure they don’t push too hard or are careful to avoid getting hurt while filming. When filming a scene where Yang Se Jong grabs a falling Park Eun Bin, Park Eun Bin asks, “Can you handle me?” and Yang Se Jong confidently replies, “Of course.”

Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong continue to showcase their creativity while filming action scenes, impressing the set with their ideas while still being considerate of each other.

Ong Seong Wu also talks about his nervousness on set at his first filming. Park Eun Bin mentions that she noticed how nervous Ong Seong Wu was at the script reading. She adds, “That was very cute, and I felt that he is treating the project very sincerely.”

tvN’s “Spooky in Love” has shared a sneak peek of Ong Seong Wu’s first appearance in the drama!

A remake of the 2011 film “Spellbound,” “Spooky in Love” is a new occult romance drama about the chaotic partnership between a hotel heiress who can see ghosts and a passionate prosecutor who is terrified of them.

On the first episode of “Spooky in Love,” Cheon Yeo Ri (Park Eun Bin) and Ma Gang Wook (Yang Se Jong) repeatedly crossed paths, running into each other deep in the mountains, on the road, and even at her hotel. At the end of the episode, Ma Gang Wook shocked Cheon Yeo Ri by showing up at her hotel just to meet her.

In the upcoming second episode of the drama, Cheon Yeo Ri’s longtime friend Kang Min Hwan (Ong Seong Wu) will enter the picture. “The Taste of Prison” (literal translation) has shared a glimpse of its first script reading!

On July 9, the upcoming comedy film “The Taste of Prison” shared that they had officially begun filming on July 6. Along with the announcement, the production also unveiled script reading photos showcasing the cast’s lively chemistry.

“The Taste of Prison” is a heartwarming comedy about a celebrity chef who hits rock bottom overnight and finds herself working in a prison kitchen, where she teams up with inmates who create soul-stirring dishes using the most unexpected recipes and ingredients.

Lee Sun Bin stars as Jessica, a celebrity chef who has gone through only the elite path in the culinary world and is known for her sharp tongue. However, after an unexpected fall from grace, she suddenly finds herself working in a prison kitchen.

Park Ji Hwan plays Jung Bae, the leader of Cell No. 3, who constantly clashes with Jessica while surprising everyone with extraordinary dishes made from unconventional recipes and mysterious ingredients.

Bae Hyeon Seong takes on the role of Soo Hyun, the newest inmate in Cell No. 3. With his gentle personality and natural talent for cooking, he emerges as the prison’s Gen Z culinary prodigy.

tvN’s “Spooky in Love” has shared a glimpse of its stars behind the scenes of filming ahead of its premiere!

Ahead of the drama’s premiere. Park Eun Bin, Yang Se Jong, and Ong Seong Wu shared their their thoughts on the filming set and their chemistry.

Park Eun Bin, who plays hotel CEO Cheon Yeo Ri, remarked, “Because I was working with actors around my age, I felt much more comfortable on set.” Since the trio already displayed fun and lively chemistry during their very first script reading, expectations are high for the even stronger bond they developed as filming progressed.

Yang Se Jong, who stars as ace prosecutor Ma Kang Wook, said, “On set, we all tried to stay focused on each other’s characters. The director, the cast, and I spent plenty of time rehearsing together, and we had a lot of discussions about each scene.” He added, “Those conversations and rehearsals allowed us to build great chemistry,” expressing his deep affection for the project.

Ong Seong Wu, who portrays villain Kang Min Hwan, remarked, “The atmosphere on set was incredibly passionate. We seriously exchanged ideas about each other’s characters and scenes, and whenever we struggled to fully express a character’s emotions or performance, we worked through it together and enjoyed finding solutions.” His comments highlighted the close teamwork among the three actors.

Ong Seong Wu explained his reason for choosing the project, saying, “Since the original film was widely loved, I was excited about its remake. I thought I could bring new tension to the story through an original character named Kang Min Hwan, who did not appear in the original.”
