The upcoming horror film “The Shrine” has released new stills of Kong Seong Ha!

“The Shrine” tells the story of three college students who mysteriously disappear during an expedition to an abandoned shrine in Kobe, Japan, and the journey of a shaman and his college friend as they uncover the identity of the evil spirit behind the case.

Kong Seong Ha stars as Yoo Mi, the manager of a Korea-Japan joint village revitalization project. After becoming entangled in a series of bizarre incidents in Kobe while searching for her missing younger sibling, Yoo Mi turns to Myung Jin (Kim Jae Joong), a shaman and her former college senior with mysterious abilities, for help.

As Yoo Mi begins uncovering the evil spirit lurking within the abandoned shrine, she is swept through a complex emotional journey marked by fear, curiosity, confusion, and unwavering determination.

Watch: Park Eun Bin, Cha Eun Woo, Choi Dae Hoon, And Im Seong Jae Preview Their Roles In “The WONDERfools” Introduction Video

Netflix’s upcoming drama “The WONDERfools” has released a new video featuring its cast introducing their characters!

“The WONDERfools” is a superpower comic action set in 1999, a time when apocalyptic beliefs were rampant. It follows a group of neighborhood misfits who unexpectedly gain superpowers and fight against villains threatening the peace of Haeseong City.

In the newly released video, Park Eun Bin, Cha Eun Woo, Choi Dae Hoon, and Im Seong Jae offer brief introductions to their roles.

Park Eun Bin, who plays Eun Chae Ni, commented, “She’s the granddaughter of the owner of Hearty House. But instead of her name Eun Chae Ni, everyone in Haeseong City knows her as ‘Trainwreck.’” She added, “She gains the ability of teleportation. Not only can she teleport, she’s also tied to a crucial secret that pushes the narrative forward.”

Cha Eun Woo, who plays Lee Un Jeong, said, “The character Un Jeong is specially assigned to Haeseong City as a civil servant.” He explained his superpower: “He has the power of telekinesis, which means he can lift objects or hurl them however he pleases.”

Choi Dae Hoon plays Son Gyeong Hun, who describes himself as “a grandmaster grumbler and a professional interloper” and “the king of complaints, an expert at pointing fingers.” He added, “After a strange incident with Chae Ni and Ro Bin (Im Seong Jae), he gains the ability to stick to things. Put simply, he becomes human flypaper.”

Im Seong Jae, who plays Kang Ro Bin, remarked, “As I’m sure you’ll all see, Ro Bin is a cutie, and he works at Chae Ni’s grandmother’s restaurant Hearty House.” He explained his superpower: “Through a series of events, he suddenly gains superpower-like strength. But he doesn’t know exactly what triggers it, so he trains under his master Un Jeong and is enlightened.”

Watch: Park Eun Bin, Yang Se Jong, And Ong Seong Wu Impress At Script Reading For New Drama “Spooky In Love”

tvN’s upcoming drama “Spooky in Love” has shared a glimpse of its first script reading session!

On April 30, the production team released photos from the script reading, which brought together Park Eun Bin, Yang Se Jong, and Ong Seong Wu as well as director Lee Min Soo and writer Choi Jung Mi.

“Spooky in Love” is an investigative occult romance drama about a hotel heiress who can see ghosts and a passionate, empathetic prosecutor who team up in a chaotic partnership. It is a remake of the 2011 film “Spellbound.”

The session began with Park Eun Bin’s lighthearted comment: “I’ll do my best to help viewers spend a chilling summer amid the intense heat.” The actors then fully immersed themselves in their respective characters.

First, Park Eun Bin plays Cheon Yeo Ri, the heiress to the country’s top luxury hotel group. Although she appears glamorous and is extremely wealthy, she lives cut off from the world because she can see ghosts. Park Eun Bin conveyed the character’s emotions through sorrowful eyes and voice.

Yang Se Jong plays Ma Gang Wook, a justice-driven prosecutor. He portrays Gang Wook’s reliable nature as he meets Cheon Yeo Ri and becomes involved in a series of strange incidents, staying by her side despite his fear.

Ong Seong Wu plays Kang Min Hwan, the CEO of CL Raymond Hotel, who hides ambition behind a gentle face. He gives a warm smile to his close friend Cheon Yeo Ri but quickly changes his demeanor when dealing with others, hinting at his true identity.

Through the script reading, the actors gradually built chemistry as they added their own touch to their characters. As various stories involving the deceased and the relationship between Cheon Yeo Ri and Ma Gan Wook unfolded, the session was filled with a wide range of reactions.

The production team said, “‘Spooky in Love’ follows the journey of a woman who can hear voices others cannot and a man who uncovers hidden truths. Together, they reveal the truth behind death and ultimately fall in love, offering excitement, chills, and catharsis all at once. Please look forward to the strong chemistry among the young actors, which will highlight the playful back-and-forth between the ghost-seeing chaebol and the passionate prosecutor.”

Ong Seong Wu Confirmed To Join Park Eun Bin And Yang Se Jong In New Occult Romance Drama

Ong Seong Wu will be joining Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong in the upcoming occult romance drama “Spellbound” (working title)!

“Spellbound” is a drama remake of the 2011 film “Spellbound” starring Son Ye Jin, Lee Min Ki, Park Chul Min, Kim Hyun Sook, Lee Mi Do, and more. The drama is an investigative occult romance drama about a hotel heiress who can see ghosts and a passionate, empathetic prosecutor who team up in a chaotic partnership.

On April 22, the production team of “Spellbound” confirmed, “Ong Seong Wu will be playing the role of original character Kang Min Hwan, who isn’t present in the original film.”

Ong Seong Wu’s character Kang Min Hwan is the CEO of CL Raymond Hotel, an affiliate of the CL Group. As an heir to the hotel and resort conglomerate CL, Kang Min Hwan has everything from sharp intelligence to handsome looks, eloquence, a rational personality, impeccable manners, and innate talent. Although he appears to be a cold businessman on the outside, he is a warmhearted friend to Cheon Yeo Ri.

The production team remarked, “Kang Min Hwan is an original character not seen in the original film, and he will add new tension to the relationship between Cheon Yeo Ri and Ma Gang Wook. Please watch with anticipation for Ong Seong Wu’s new transformation as he completes Kang Min Hwan’s narrative with his own colors while completely immersed in the character.”

Previously, it was confirmed that Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong will be starring in the drama. Park Eun Bin plays Cheon Yeo Ri, the heiress of one of Korea’s top conglomerates and the CEO of a luxury hotel who hides a fatal secret: she can see ghosts. Yang Se Jong takes on the role of ace prosecutor Ma Gang Wook.
