Watch: Kim Yoon Sik And Park Si Woo Perfect Their Chemistry On Set Of “The Prosecutor’s Proposal”
“The Prosecutor’s Proposal” has released a new making-of video!
Based on a popular web novel, “The Prosecutor’s Proposal” is an office investigative BL drama. The story follows rookie investigator Lee Chae Ha (Park Si Woo), who lives with the stigma of being a killer’s son, and perfectionist prosecutor Joo Tae Sun (Kim Yoon Sik), who has exceptional abilities. The two start with a precarious relationship, suspecting one another, but as they cooperate to investigate a case, they become intertwined through complex emotions.
The newly released making-of video shows sweet and playful moments between Park Si Woo and Kim Yoon Sik, who take care of each other and joke around in between filming.
In another scene, Cho Min Kyu impresses with his crane game luck, but he always ends up winning when the camera isn’t rolling. After getting soaked from the fake rain created by the hard work of the production team, a staff member comments how sweet it is for Cho Min Kyu’s character to dust the rain of Park Si Woo’s jacket. Park Si Woo jokingly comments, “He’s so sweet. He’s better than Tae Sun for sure.”
Park Si Woo and Kim Yoon Sik impress the set with their rehearsal of their characters’ intimate scene, carrying out the scene perfectly once the camera starts rolling.
While filming at night, Park Si Woo shows off the fake prop weapon as he comments, “I think this is the most important scene.” Kim Yoon Sik remarks, “I’m the one with a lot of lines,” but Park Si Woo insists that he has more lines to the making-of camera. Wrapping up, Kim Yoon Sik comments, “The filming went better than I imagined,” sharing that they did their best to film despite the cold weather.

Netflix’s “Notes from the Last Row” has shared a new preview video ahead of its premiere!
Based on the Spanish play of the same name, “Notes from the Last Row” is a psychological thriller that follows Heo Mun Oh (Choi Min Sik), a failed writer-turned-Korean literature professor who hasn’t published a new work in 20 years. After discovering the extraordinary writing talent of Lee Kang (Choi Hyun Wook), a student who always sits in the back row of his classroom, Heo Mun Oh gradually becomes obsessed with the young man’s writing.
The new teaser begins with Heo Mun Oh having a private conversation with his student Lee Kang. Heo Mun Oh asks, “What is it that you want to write about?” Lee Kang answers, “What do you mean? It’s an assignment, so I just wrote whatever I felt like.”
Heo Mun Oh continues to toss the mysterious question, “You envy Kim Se Yun (Lee Jin Woo), don’t you? And you want to be him? That’s why you wrote this, isn’t it?” leaving Lee Kang speechless. Heo Mun Oh adds, “He doesn’t seem to care at all whether you envy him or not.” Lee Kang responds with the question, “Do you know it too? That feeling?”
Getting back on topic, Heo Mun Oh states, “My point is that you should keep writing.” He continues, “You have talent. And take one-on-one literature lessons from me. Once a week.” When Lee Kang refuses, saying that the money from his part-time jobs is more important to him, Heo Mun Oh goes so far as to offer to pay Lee Kang.

Watch: Choi Min Sik Tries To Stop Choi Hyun Wook From Crossing The Line In “Notes From The Last Row” Teaser And Poster
Netflix’s new series “Notes from the Last Row” has released a new poster and teaser.
The newly released poster captures the strange tension between Heo Mun Oh and Lee Kang as they face each other against the backdrop of bookshelves stretching endlessly. Unlike Heo Mun Oh, who has a confused expression, Lee Kang looks relaxed, creating a stark contrast between the two.
Even though Heo Mun Oh appears to be looking down at Lee Kang from above in the poster, the atmosphere suggests that Lee Kang may actually be the one holding all the secrets, drawing attention. The poster’s caption, “The story with a twisted ending,” further raises curiosity about the events that will unfold between the two.
The released teaser begins with Heo Mun Oh reading Lee Kang’s writing and feeling confused. Their intense exchanges, as they clash over the boundary between imagination and reality, deepen the drama’s mysterious atmosphere.
Lee Kang, whose exceptional talent is strong enough to point out errors during lectures, later begins receiving private literature lessons from Heo Mun Oh at his suggestion. However, as he observes other people’s lives for his writing, he gradually begins to cross dangerous lines.
Heo Mun Oh tries to stop him, but Lee Kang refuses, saying he only wants to know the truth. As time passes, Heo Mun Oh himself becomes deeply absorbed in Lee Kang’s writing, and their relationship takes an unexpected turn.
In the latter part of the trailer, scenes of a mysterious accident, an unidentified figure being pursued, and a rapidly spreading fire heighten the tension. It hints that what began as a simple literature lesson will escalate into a large-scale incident. Attention is focused on the real reason Lee Kang accepted Heo Mun Oh’s proposal and what secrets are hidden within his writing.

Choi Min Sik Offers Choi Hyun Wook Private Literature Lessons After Discovering His Talent In “Notes From The Last Row”
Netflix’s new series “Notes from the Last Row” has unveiled new stills!
The newly released character stills capture the stark contrast between the two protagonists and the subtle tension simmering beneath the surface. Heo Mun Oh passionately lectures his students, while Lee Kang appears completely indifferent, gazing out the window instead.
Other stills feature the two characters together in Heo Mun Oh’s study. After becoming captivated by Lee Kang’s writing assignment, Heo Mun Oh proposes private literature lessons, raising questions about how their relationship will evolve and setting the stage for an unpredictable psychological suspense story.

Shin Ha Kyun Bumps Into Hyun Bong Sik While In Disguise On Infiltration Mission In “Fifties Professionals”
Shin Ha Kyun is transforming into a mysterious “Masked Racer” in “Fifties Professionals”!
“Fifties Professionals” is an action-comedy about three seemingly ordinary but secretly dangerous middle-aged men who are brought back into action by destiny. The three men, who once reigned at the top of their respective fields, find themselves exiled to the remote island of Yeongseon after a mysterious incident. There, they begin a bittersweet and comedic quest to uncover the truth about the fateful day from 10 years ago that changed their lives.
Spoilers
Previously, Episode 2 slowly unraveled the hidden truth behind the ferry incident from 10 years ago as Jung Ho Myung, Bong Je Soon (Oh Jung Se), and Kang Beom Ryong (Heo Sung Tae) launched a full-scale chase over the missing USB drive. The ending—where Kang Beom Ryong, the second-in-command of the Hwasan faction, awakened his dormant instincts—left viewers with intense suspense.
The newly released stills capture Jung Ho Myung wearing a striking mask that completely covers his face as he embarks on an undercover mission to infiltrate Heaven Capital. The mask was originally gifted to him by his son Ji Woo as a token of support for his father, but it unexpectedly becomes a key item during the infiltration mission.
Despite the seriousness of the operation, the somewhat clumsy “Masked Racer” look adds a comedic touch. However, Jung Ho Myung’s determined expression and clenched fists also showcase the sharp tension and charisma of a former National Intelligence Service black agent, hinting at a unique mix of comedy and intensity.
Other stills capture Jung Ho Myung unexpectedly encountering Yoo In Gu (Hyun Bong Sik) in a restroom. Yoo In Gu appears visibly flustered by the sudden confrontation, while Jung Ho Myung’s mask—partially damaged as if slashed by a blade—suggests that something dangerous has unfolded between the two men.
Notably, Heaven Capital is believed to be a key source of political funding for Han Kyung Wook (Kim Sang Kyung). In the upcoming episode, Jung Ho Myung will carry out a solo infiltration mission without anyone’s help in order to uncover the connection between Han Kyung Wook and Heaven Capital.
Viewers can also look forward to Shin Ha Kyun’s action performance, as the actor underwent real boxing training for the role of Jung Ho Myung.
Episode 3 of “Fifties Professionals” airs on May 29 at 9:50 p.m. KST.

Watch: Choi Min Sik Becomes Obsessed With Choi Hyun Wook’s Mysterious Writing In “Notes From The Last Row” Teaser
Netflix has unveiled the first poster and teaser for its upcoming drama “Notes from the Last Row”!
“Notes from the Last Row” is a psychological thriller drama that follows Heo Mun Oh (Choi Min Sik), a failed writer-turned-Korean literature professor who hasn’t published a new work in 20 years. After discovering the extraordinary writing talent of Lee Kang (Choi Hyun Wook), a student who always sits in the back row of his classroom, Heo Mun Oh gradually becomes obsessed with the young man’s draft.
The newly released poster creates an eerie sense of tension through the stark contrast between the two characters. Heo Mun Oh appears shaken, as though consumed by something, while Lee Kang exudes a cold and cynical aura. Fragments of sentences peeking through torn gaps across the poster further heighten curiosity about the pair’s secretive “private literature lessons.”
The teaser follows Heo Mun Oh as he rediscovers his passion for writing after encountering Lee Kang’s work. At first, his words of encouragement—“You have talent”—suggest the beginning of a warm mentor-student relationship. But the mood quickly darkens as Heo Mun Oh becomes increasingly obsessed with Lee Kang’s writing and begins digging into the truth behind it.
His chilling question, “The story you wrote for your assignment… was that real?” hints at the disturbing nature of Lee Kang’s work and teases a suspenseful story in which the boundary between fiction and reality begins to blur.

Han Ji Eun, Hyun Bong Sik, Kim Sang Ho, And More Get Entangled Within Different Power Groups In “Fifties Professionals”
MBC’s upcoming drama “Fifties Professionals” has unveiled new stills featuring its splendid supporting cast!
The drama centers on the story of former National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent Jung Ho Myung (Shin Ha Kyun), North Korean operative Bong Jae Soon (Oh Jung Se), who lost his memory after an unexpected accident, and gangster Kang Beom Ryong (Heo Sung Tae), who is pursuing Jung Ho Myung. All three are now on Yeongseon Island following an operation that failed 10 years ago.
The newly released stills feature a strong supporting cast of talented veteran actors including Han Ji Eun, Kim Sang Ho, Hyun Bong Sik, Shin Dong Mi, Lee Soon Won, Lee Han Wi, Kim Byung Ok, and Jung Suk Yong. The relationships between characters intertwined within police, organized crime, family, and power structures are expected to deliver both tension and human warmth.
Han Ji Eun plays Park Mi Kyung, a patrol officer at the Yeongseon Police Substation. She is a character who feels skeptical about corruption within the organization but never lets go of her sense of justice.
Kim Sang Ho takes on the role of Jo Seong Won, a team leader in the NIS’s anti-communist investigation unit. Although he possesses an excellent sense of intuition and a strong sense of justice, he is framed due to internal betrayal and ends up on the run. He later tracks the truth while hiding his identity for a long time and engages in a strong partnership with Jung Ho Myung.
Hyun Bong Sik appears as Yoo In Gu, the head of the Ingu faction. In the past, during his time with the Hwasan faction, he was overshadowed by Kang Beom Ryong and failed to make a name for himself, but he eventually grew into a core figure of the organization by leveraging his social skills. However, he lives in constant anxiety, fearing revenge from the disappeared Kang Beom Ryong and Ma Gong Bok (Lee Hak Joo).
Shin Dong Mi plays Ho Myung’s wife Kwon Oh Ran, portraying a realistic story of a married couple. As the daughter of the long-standing Ohran Restaurant, she is a character who endures the weight of reality amidst childcare, the family business, and her lethargic husband. The indifferent affection and lived-in chemistry typical of a long-married couple are expected to add warmth to the drama.
Lee Soon Won plays Geum Gang Sik, the second-in-command of the Ingu faction. He is a character who has solidified his position in the organization by relying on power rather than ability; while he is Yoo In Gu’s right-hand man, he also harbors ambitions to take that position one day.
Lee Han Wi takes on the role of CEO Kwon, the owner of Ohran Restaurant, showcasing a realistic father character who acts as the anchor for his family.
Kim Byung Ok appears as Hwang Hwa San, the boss of the Hwasan faction. Once called a legend in the organized crime world, he fell from grace after being framed for murder following a failed NIS operation. He places his final hope on Kang Beom Ryong and Ma Gong Bok, adding tension to the story.
Jung Suk Yong plays Ri Cheol Jin, the person in charge of the People’s Armed Forces’ special forces, and will act as a key figure who shakes up the board amidst power and desire.
The production team stated, “The quality of the project has been further elevated by the performances of actors such as Han Ji Eun, Kim Sang Ho, Hyun Bong Sik, and Shin Dong Mi. Please look forward to the synergy they will create with Shin Ha Kyun, Oh Jung Se, and Heo Sung Tae as well as the character-driven performances full of individuality.”
“Fifties Professionals” is set to premiere on May 22 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.
