On July 5, Sports DongA reported that according to industry insiders, Bobby Kim had become a father last month.

In response to the reports, a source from his agency ATTRAKT Entertainment confirmed that Bobby Kim’s wife gave birth to their daughter last month. They added, “Both the mother and child are in good health.”

In 2022, Bobby Kim tied the knot with his non-celebrity wife. The artist is known for numerous hit songs including “Love… that guy,” “Falling In Love Again,” “Pine Tree,” and more.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for rising singers!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of various rising singers’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from May 26 to June 26.

RESCENE shot to the top of this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 6,368,697, while I.O.I took second place with a score of 5,910,068.

Kim Yong Bin ranked third with a brand reputation index of 4,559,196, marking a 16.37 percent increase in his score since May.

Park Ji Hyeon jumped to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,997,537, marking a 48.38 percent rise in his score since last month.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for singers!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of singers’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from May 27 to June 27.

BTS continued their reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 6,944,728 for June.

Meanwhile, RESCENE shot to second place on the list with a brand reputation index of 6,316,605.

Lim Young Woong took third place with a brand reputation index of 5,554,941, marking a 12.94 percent increase in his score since last month.

CORTIS came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 5,335,270, marking a 23.70 percent rise in their score since May.

Finally, I.O.I rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 4,325,767 for June.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for rising singers!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of various rising singers’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from April 27 to May 27.

CORTIS shot to the top of this month’s list after seeing a whopping 328.60 percent increase in their brand reputation index since April, bringing their total score to 6,065,405.

Trot singer Kim Yong Bin held onto his spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 3,917,846, marking a 34.10 percent increase in his score since last month.

HANRORO took third place with a brand reputation index of 3,300,462, marking a 9.65 percent rise in her score since April.

BIBI jumped to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,122,855, marking an impressive 112.92 percent increase in her score.

Kang Dong Won, Um Tae Goo, And Park Ji Hyun Channel Futuristic Y2K Vibes While Oh Jung Se Radiates Soft Ballad Singer Aura In “Wild Sing”

The highly anticipated film “Wild Sing” has unveiled stylish photo card posters featuring its cast!

“Wild Sing” is a comedy movie that follows the story of TRIANGLE, a once-popular co-ed trio that fell into obscurity after an unfortunate incident. The film depicts their chaotic journey as they attempt to reunite and make a comeback.

On May 22, TRIANGLE members Hyun Woo (Kang Dong Won), Sang Gu (Um Tae Goo), and Do Mi (Park Ji Hyun), along with their rival soloist Choi Sung Gon (Oh Jung Se), simultaneously released the film’s OST through major Korean music platforms and global streaming services.

The OST includes TRIANGLE’s second album title track “Shout It Out” and Choi Sung Gon’s ballad “I Like You.”

Alongside the OST release, four photo card posters were also unveiled. TRIANGLE’s posters lean heavily into a futuristic Y2K aesthetic, complete with bold smoky makeup, metallic outfits, and oversized silhouettes that perfectly recreate the late-1990s vibe. Kang Dong Won, who plays leader Hyun Woo, exudes powerful charisma, while Um Tae Goo’s Sang Gu commands attention with his rough energy. Park Ji Hyun, as center member Do Mi, completes the group’s distinct identity with her confident aura.

Upcoming film “Wild Sing” has shared new stills featuring Oh Jung Se!

“Wild Sing” is a comedy movie that follows the story of TRIANGLE, a once-popular co-ed trio that fell into obscurity after an unfortunate incident. The film depicts their chaotic journey as they attempt to reunite and make a comeback.

Oh Jung Se plays Sung Gon, a pure, soft-voiced heartthrob and ill-fated ballad singer. He was even nominated for No. 1 place on broadcast music charts but was beaten by TRIANGLE, setting a record of 39 consecutive weeks at No. 2.

With flowing long hair, a white blouse, and a gentle voice that won over many women, Sung Gon shows off his striking looks. However, he becomes involved in an unexpected incident and disappears along with his troubled past.

Oh Jung Se will portray the dramatic transformation of Sung Gon, who goes from a pure heartthrob who captivates women’s hearts to living in isolation as a hunter of harmful wild animals.

Oh Jung Se studied videos of various singers from that era to create Sung Gon’s distinct look and mannerisms.

He said, “He is a character with a strong desire for dreams he was not able to fully achieve. I wanted to support his simple but sincere dream, and I hoped audiences would feel that sincerity as well.”

Director Son Jae Gon described the character, saying, “He is a lonely artist who suddenly appears, completely shifts the mood, and does not belong anywhere. Oh Jung Se filled in the gaps in the script with his own careful preparation and interpretation. He is an actor who can make even ordinary, predictable moments feel special.”

“Wild Sing” is set to hit theaters on June 3.
