KATSEYE Sets Personal Record On UK’s Official Albums Chart With “WILD” + “Animal” Rises On Singles Chart

KATSEYE’s latest release is going strong in the United Kingdom!

This week, the United Kingdom’s Official Charts (widely regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) announced that KATSEYE’s third EP “WILD” had climbed back up to No. 22 on its Official Albums Chart.

“WILD,” which debuted at No. 2 two weeks ago, has now become KATSEYE’s first album ever to spend three weeks on the Official Albums Chart.

Meanwhile, the group’s pre-release single “Animal” climbed back up to No. 16 in its sixth week on the Official Singles Chart. “Animal,” which peaked at No. 12 two weeks ago, currently holds the record for KATSEYE’s highest-ranking song on the chart to date.

KATSEYE’s title track “Hootie Frutti” also ranked No. 33 in its third consecutive week on the Official Singles Chart.

KATSEYE’s latest single is off to a strong start in the United Kingdom!

This week, the Official Charts (widely regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) announced that KATSEYE’s new single “Animal” had debuted at No. 16 on its Official Singles Chart.

Notably, “Animal” was the highest new entry on this week’s Official Singles Chart.

“Animal” is KATSEYE’s second song to break the top 20 of the U.K. chart, following “PINKY UP” (which peaked at No. 14 earlier this year). It is also the group’s seventh chart entry overall, following “Gnarly” (which peaked at No. 52), “Gabriela” (No. 38), “Internet Girl” (No. 24), “PINKY UP,” “Touch” (No. 82), and their LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT collab “ICONIC BY MISTAKE” (No. 22).

“Six Singles Under One Roof” Confirmed To Return With Season 2

“Six Singles Under One Roof” has officially been renewed for a second season!

The tvN reality show, which wrapped up its first season on June 12, followed Jang Do Yeon, Lee Da Hee, Choi Daniel, Jang Keun Suk, Ahn Jae Hyun, and Kyung Soo Jin as they lived together under one roof. By stepping away from their independent lifestyles and sharing the small moments of everyday life, the cast reflected the sentiments of modern adults who enjoy living alone but don’t want to feel lonely.

The show proved to be a ratings success, ranking No. 1 in its time slot among tvN’s target demographic of viewers aged 20 to 49 nationwide for every episode, according to Nielsen Korea.

The production team explained, “Rather than trying to conclude whether living together is good or bad, we simply wanted to comfortably show the real experiences of friends sharing a home. Living together has both advantages and inconveniences, but we hoped to convey that this can be another way of living. “Single’s Inferno 4” Star Lee Si An Wins Legal Battle Against Former Agency

“Single’s Inferno 4” star Lee Si An has won her legal dispute against her agency.

On June 22, the Seoul Central District Court ruled in Lee Si An’s favor in a lawsuit filed by Leaders Entertainment, which had sought damages against the entertainer.

The dispute centered on a supplemental agreement signed ahead of Lee Si An’s appearance on Netflix’s “Single’s Inferno 4.” Leaders Entertainment, which had managed Lee Si An since August 2023, signed an additional agreement with her in April 2024 that extended her exclusive contract by 18 months beyond its original October 2024 expiration date.

After Lee Si An expressed her intention to end the contract, the agency filed a lawsuit in December 2024, claiming that she had failed to fulfill her contractual obligations. However, the court found that the agency had misled Lee Si An during the process of signing the extension agreement and ruled that the agreement was invalid.

The court stated, “There was no evidence that Netflix had required Lee Si An to be ‘represented by an agency with exclusive management rights’ or that ‘her contract had to remain in effect until the show’s broadcast’ as a condition for her casting on ‘Single’s Inferno 4.’” Because Lee Si An agreed to the contract extension based on those explanations, the court determined that the agreement could not be considered valid.

The court also dismissed the agency’s claim for contractual penalties, ruling that the supplemental agreement had been lawfully canceled and finding no evidence that Lee Si An had violated the terms of her original contract.

Lee Si An first gained recognition through Mnet’s “Idol School” and “Produce 48,” before rising to wider fame through her appearance on Netflix’s “Single’s Inferno 4” in early 2025.
