Uhm Jung Hwa, Park Sung Woong, And Ryeoun Fight To Save A Hijacked Cruise Ship From Sooyoung In “OK! Madam: Bon Voyage”

“OK! Madam: Bon Voyage” has released new action-packed stills!

A sequel to the 2020 hit movie “Okay! Madam,” “OK! Madam: Bon Voyage” once again follows Mi Young (Uhm Jung Hwa) and her family as their luxury cruise vacation takes a dangerous turn when the ship is hijacked in the middle of the ocean.

On July 20, distributor CGV Pictures unveiled four new stills from the upcoming film, offering a glimpse of Uhm Jung Hwa, Sooyoung, Park Sung Woong, and Ryeoun as they showcase both the film’s action and comedy.

Uhm Jung Hwa, who reprises her role as Mi Young, trained extensively for the film, reportedly attending action school every day to prepare for the physically demanding role. She once again transforms into the charismatic former legendary secret agent.

Director Lee Cheol Ha praised the actress, saying, “Knowing what kind of actress Uhm Jung Hwa is, I trusted that she would fully commit to the role. That confidence allowed me to build every action sequence on a larger scale.”

Meanwhile, Sooyoung takes on the role of Anya, the ruthless leader of a criminal organization. With her intense expression, she teases the arrival of a formidable new villain as she goes head-to-head with Mi Young in a series of powerful action scenes while attempting to take control of the cruise ship.

Sooyoung shared, “I had a lot of worries at first, but thanks to working with Uhm Jung Hwa, I think we were able to create some great scenes.” Their intense hand-to-hand fight is expected to be one of the film’s biggest highlights.

While Uhm Jung Hwa and Sooyoung deliver the film’s fierce action, Park Sung Woong and Ryeoun add a comedic touch. Park Sung Woong plays Seok Hwan, whose determined march toward the ship’s bridge hints at clumsy yet satisfying action.

Ryeoun, making his big-screen debut, stars as Ji Hoon, a magician who unexpectedly joins Mi Young in fighting the criminal organization.

Returning to direct after the first film, Lee Cheol Ha described the sequel as “a film packed with refreshing visuals of the sea, sky, and waves that make it perfect for the summer.”

“OK! Madam: Bon Voyage” is set to hit theaters on August 12.

Upcoming film “OK! Madam: Bon Voyage” has unveiled a new poster and teaser!

On July 14, the production team of “OK! Madam: Bon Voyage,” the sequel to the 2020 hit movie “Okay! Madam,” released a new poster and teaser featuring its splendid cast.

First, the main poster below features seven actors who will deliver refreshing laughter and fiery action in “OK! Madam: Bon Voyage,” set against the backdrop of a cruise ship, each showcasing their unique personalities. The special synergy created by the original cast members—Uhm Jung Hwa, Park Sung Woong, Lee Sang Yoon, and Bae Jung Nam—who proved their fantastic comedic chemistry in the first installment, combined with the vibrant new members—Sooyoung, Ryeoun, and Park Jin Joo—builds anticipation for the only comic action film of this summer.

The main trailer begins with Mi Young (Uhm Jung Hwa) boarding a luxury cruise ship to leave her tiresome daily life behind. As the cruise ship cuts through the blue sea in all its overwhelming majesty, the caption, “The dream vacation begins?” appears, and the glamorous scenes of deck parties and magic shows promise a perfect getaway.

However, the romance is short-lived; the atmosphere shifts abruptly with the caption, “The dream-breaking operation begins!” Anya (Sooyoung), the ruthless leader of a massive criminal organization, and her armed operatives seize control of the cruise in an instant. With Anya’s declaration, “You are all hostages!” the cruise ship—carrying hundreds of people—becomes the scene of an unprecedented kidnapping.

The upcoming action comedy film “Okay! Madam 2” has shared its first poster and teaser!

A sequel to the 2020 hit movie “Okay! Madam,” the new film follows the same family who once stopped an airplane hijacking. This time, they’re invited aboard a luxurious cruise ship, only to find themselves caught up in yet another unexpected incident.

The poster shows Mi Young (Uhm Jung Hwa), a legendary agent who had been living as an ordinary twisted doughnut shop owner before becoming involved in a kidnapping on a cruise ship while on vacation, positioned at the center of the image with an intense gaze.

Beside her, Seok Hwan (Park Sung Woong), Mi Young’s husband, who is an elite agent in spirit but in reality an unemployed home protector, adds a humorous presence, while Cheol Seung (Lee Sang Yoon), Mi Young’s former colleague, leaves a strong impression with stoic charisma.

Hyun Min (Bae Jung Nam), a man who begins a new chapter in life as the groom at a luxury cruise wedding, and Seon Ah (Park Jin Joo), the CEO of the Eastern Venus cruise ship, who is willing to risk her life to defend it, add comedic tension.

In addition, Ji Hoon (Ryeoun), a cruise magician who becomes entangled with Mi Young, and Anya (Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung), the ruthless leader of a criminal organization that throws the cruise into chaos, each brings a distinct presence.

The accompanying teaser opens with Mi Young’s previous performance during the airplane hijacking and transitions to a scene of a massive cruise ship sailing across the open sea with the phrase, “This time, it’s a cruise.”

The trailer then builds tension as Mi Young is sprinting across the deck with intense charisma, while hand-to-hand combat erupts among the characters in the background.

Next, Seon Ah, the cruise ship’s CEO, asks, “Who kidnapped you here?” Seok Hwan, with his arms bound, responds in surprise, “Kidnapped?” teasing unpredictable comedic chemistry. Anya, the charismatic villain behind the kidnapping, adds an ominous line: “Shall we begin?” heightening curiosity about what is to come.

Jung Kyung Ho and Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung have broken up after 14 years of dating.

On June 9, a media outlet reported that Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung recently grew distant due to their increasingly busy schedules and naturally went their separate ways.

In response to the report, Sooyoung’s agency SARAM Entertainment stated, “It is true that they have broken up. They have decided to remain good colleagues.”

Jung Kyung Ho’s agency Management Allum also confirmed, “It is true that they have broken up. As it is a private matter, it is difficult to provide further details.”

Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung were known as one of the entertainment industry’s most representative long-term couples. Having been together since 2012, the two began their public relationship in January 2014 after acknowledging dating rumors.

Sooyoung In Talks For New Drama By “Crash Course In Romance” Writer

Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung may be joining a new KBS weekend drama!

On May 18, her agency Saram Entertainment revealed that Sooyoung has received an offer to star in the upcoming KBS2 weekend drama “I Went to School” (literal title), the new project by writer Yang Hee Seung, and is positively reviewing the offer.

Previously, it was reported that Lee Jung Eun and Yu Jun Sang were also in talks to join the cast. The drama tells the story of a middle-aged woman who experiences a major turning point in life after enrolling in college later in life. Details regarding Sooyoung’s potential role have not yet been revealed.

The series will be penned by Yang Hee Seung, who wrote hit dramas including “Crash Course in Romance,” “Oh My Ghost,” “Weightlifting Fairy, Kim Bok Joo,” and “A Hundred Memories.” She is also currently serving as creator of the ongoing tvN drama “Filing for Love.”

The drama will be directed by PD Lee Woong Hee, who previously helmed “My Perfect Stranger” and “The First Night with the Duke.”

“I Went to School” is currently slated to premiere in 2027.
