tvN’s “Spooky in Love” has unveiled a new behind-the-scenes video!

In the newly released making-of video, Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong showcase their teamwork on set, thoughtfully taking care of each other as they film their fighting scene.

Later, Park Eun Bin welcomes viewers into her character Cheon Yeo Ri’s house, showcasing the braid she did herself.

In another scene, Park Eun Bin has a blast pretending to drive in front of the green screen. Following aggressive turns, Park Eun Bin jokes, “We have a car sick patient.” Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong can’t help but laugh after portraying their comedic yet intense scene.

After filming an action scene, the director and Park Eun Bin compliment Yang Se Jong. Impressed, Park Eun Bin states, “The action scene made me rethink what genre ‘Spooky in Love’ is.” The two continue to take care of each other, making sure they don’t push too hard or are careful to avoid getting hurt while filming. When filming a scene where Yang Se Jong grabs a falling Park Eun Bin, Park Eun Bin asks, “Can you handle me?” and Yang Se Jong confidently replies, “Of course.”

Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong continue to showcase their creativity while filming action scenes, impressing the set with their ideas while still being considerate of each other.

Ong Seong Wu also talks about his nervousness on set at his first filming. Park Eun Bin mentions that she noticed how nervous Ong Seong Wu was at the script reading. She adds, “That was very cute, and I felt that he is treating the project very sincerely.”

Both tvN’s “Spooky in Love” and JTBC’s “The Apartment Job” are on the rise!

On July 19, “Spooky in Love” enjoyed a substantial increase in viewership for its second episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the new drama took first place in its time slot across all cable channels with an average nationwide rating of 5.3 percent, marking a significant jump from its premiere rating of 3.0 percent from the night before.

“The Apartment Job” also climbed to its highest ratings yet with its fourth episode, which scored a nationwide average of 6.0 percent.

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s “The Husband” wrapped up the first half of its run on an average nationwide rating of 6.4 percent.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Recipe for Love” ended on an average nationwide rating of 15.3 percent for its series finale, making it the most-watched show of any kind to air on Sunday.

tvN’s “Spooky in Love” has shared a sneak peek of Ong Seong Wu’s first appearance in the drama!

A remake of the 2011 film “Spellbound,” “Spooky in Love” is a new occult romance drama about the chaotic partnership between a hotel heiress who can see ghosts and a passionate prosecutor who is terrified of them.

On the first episode of “Spooky in Love,” Cheon Yeo Ri (Park Eun Bin) and Ma Gang Wook (Yang Se Jong) repeatedly crossed paths, running into each other deep in the mountains, on the road, and even at her hotel. At the end of the episode, Ma Gang Wook shocked Cheon Yeo Ri by showing up at her hotel just to meet her.

In the upcoming second episode of the drama, Cheon Yeo Ri’s longtime friend Kang Min Hwan (Ong Seong Wu) will enter the picture. Newly released stills from the episode capture the three characters meeting on Jeju Island in what marks an ominous first encounter between Ma Gang Wook and Kang Min Hwan.

tvN’s upcoming drama “Spooky in Love” has shared a new sneak peek of its first episode!

The newly released preview of tonight’s premiere begins with a furious Cheon Yeo Ri (Park Eun Bin) getting into her car, seemingly to chase the culprit behind a hit-and-run. But before she can take off, she is interrupted by Ma Gang Wook (Yang Se Jong), who suddenly climbs into the passenger seat and says, “Step on it. Hurry.”

As a bewildered Cheon Yeo Ri asks who he is and why he’s getting into a stranger’s car uninvited, Ma Gang Wook hurriedly cuts her off to say, “You were just the victim of a hit-and-run. I’ll help you, so don’t worry.”

Then, as the two get a better look at one another, they unexpectedly recognize each other, suggesting that they’ve already met before. Surprised, Ma Gang Wook asks, “What is this? Why is it you here again?” Cheon Yeo Ri responds in disbelief, “You’re the one who got in! This is trespassing!”

Despite Cheon Yeo Ri’s reluctance, Ma Gang Wook continues to insist on helping her, leading her to refuse by declaring, “I’ll handle it on my own, so hurry and get out of my car.” When she goes on to tell him to chase the bad guys down in his own car, Ma Gang Wook impatiently exclaims that he can’t because it would be drunk driving. He then whips out his ID badge to prove to her that he’s a prosecutor and that she can trust him.

At the end of the clip, as Ma Gang Wook urges her to start her car, he gets confused when Cheon Yeo Ri mentions hearing someone say something—as there’s no one in the car except for the two of them.

Get ready for a new and upgraded Season 2 of Mnet Plus variety show “SUMBAKKOKJIL”!

CJ ENM’s global K-pop content platform Mnet Plus has announced that its popular horror-themed variety show “SUMBAKKOKJIL” will be returning for a second season in July.

“SUMBAKKOKJIL” is a “survival” variety show in which K-pop idols play an eerie game of hide-and-seek and attempt to evade a mysterious “seeker” for 4,444 seconds. Season 1 featured a total of eight groups as guests: TREASURE, NCT WISH, RIIZE, ZEROBASEONE, TXT, ALLDAY PROJECT, TWS, and BOYNEXTDOOR.

Unlike the simple format of Season 1, which created its tension through the visceral fear of an unseen presence lurking in the dark, Season 2 will feature a story-based format that incorporates well-known urban legends and ghost stories. Instead of merely hiding and running away from an unidentified “seeker,” the participants must become characters within a story and escape an unknown space.

“We designed this season to go beyond a simple survival game, so that players could experience the feeling of having personally stepped inside the world of an urban legend,” said the “SUMBAKKOKJIL” Season 2 production team. “Please also look forward to finding out who the first player to step into this even more immersive narrative will be.”

Although “SUMBAKKOKJIL 2” has not yet revealed its premiere date, the first episode of the show will be released sometime in July.

Explaining her character’s nickname, Park Eun Bin shared, “Although she appears to have built high walls around herself, deep down she simply doesn’t want to cause harm to others. Ultimately, she is a character who chose ‘self-isolation.’”

Cheon Yeo Ri not only sees ghosts but also carries a curse that causes anyone who comes into physical contact with her to see ghosts as well. As a result, she deliberately keeps her distance from others for their sake. Viewers are left wondering whether she will be able to break free from her curse.

Yang Se Jong plays Ma Kang Wook, a passionate prosecutor who relentlessly pursues the truth behind every case. After a chance encounter with Cheon Yeo Ri, he comes face-to-face with the existence of ghosts and is thrust into a world unlike anything he has ever experienced.

Yang Se Jong chose “confrontation” as the keyword that best describes Ma Kang Wook. He explained that the character’s journey centers on confronting the truth behind various cases through ghosts as well as accepting his feelings for Cheon Yeo Ri and ultimately coming to terms with his own destiny. His description heightens curiosity about the secrets Ma Kang Wook will uncover.

Ong Seong Wu plays Kang Min Hwan, the heir to the CL Hotel & Resort Group and the CEO of CL Raymond Hotel. While he is widely admired for his gentle image and exceptional leadership skills, he harbors a hidden desire to earn the recognition of both his parents and the company.

Ong Seong Wu selected “lack” as the keyword that defines Kang Min Hwan.
