Kim Hyun Joo Stands Amidst A Dark Tunnel In Poster For New Film “Paradise Lost”

Upcoming film “Paradise Lost” has unveiled a new poster!

“Paradise Lost” is a thriller that follows Sun Woo (Bae Hyeon Seong), a son who returns home after being missing for nine years. While he was gone, his mother So Young (Kim Hyun Joo) had been soothing her pain by interacting with a childhood version of her son through an artificial intelligence (AI) program. However, she begins to feel uneasy around the “new” Sun Woo, leading to an uncomfortable cohabitation between mother and son.

The newly released main poster features a dark mine shaft superimposed over a person’s face. The striking image hints that the film will delve deep into a character’s inner world.

Ryu So Young is featured at the center of the poster. An abandoned mine shaft is superimposed over her face, while the silhouette of a person can be seen walking deeper into the dark, seemingly endless tunnel. With only part of her face visible, Ryu So Young’s tightly closed lips hint at the gravity of the situation she faces. The image also reveals the inner turmoil of Ryu So Young, who has endured for years in an effort not to fall apart.

The phrase “The son believed to be dead has returned” signals the beginning of the story. The copy “The face she got back, the truth she faces” heighten curiosity about whether the son who has returned as if by a miracle is truly the child she once knew and what truths will be revealed alongside his return.

The top of the poster also features a logo announcing the film’s official invitation to the 51st Toronto International Film Festival. “Paradise Lost” was invited to the Special Presentations section of the Toronto International Film Festival last September, where it held its world premiere, and all screenings prior to the official premiere were sold out. It also received widespread acclaim from international media.

Ahn Bo Hyun Stands Ready For Battle As A Special Commander In New Historical Drama “Sacred Jewel”

Upcoming drama “Sacred Jewel” has released its first teaser!

“Sacred Jewel” is set in the year 1258 during the Goryeo Dynasty, when the kingdom is on the brink of defeat after 30 years of war with Mongolia. The story follows the heroic fight of an expedition unit that sets out onto the battlefield in search of a sacred relic—the Avalokitesvara Bead, believed to hold divine power to protect the nation—and a princess who seeks to save them.

The poster features Baek Gyeol (Ahn Bo Hyun), the special commander of the Gwaneumboju unit and a nobleman, standing in the middle of a battlefield. Baek Gyeol gazes straight ahead with a sorrowful look in his eyes, conveying a weighty presence.

The scars etched across his face and hands vividly show the marks of fierce battles. His firm grip on his sword also conveys his determination to never back down from any threat. As Baek Gyeol is tasked with protecting the Gwaneumboju, which could determine the fate of Goryeo and the outcome of the war, anticipation is building for the life-or-death struggle he will face.

The poster also features the procession of a massive military force stretching out behind Baek Gyeol. The army filling the frame foreshadows the large-scale war and epic scope that the series will showcase. Combined with the natural landscapes stretching along the Baekdudaegan mountain and the Han River, the imagery teases the unit’s journey across the vast terrain.

Above all, the phrase, “In the year 1258, the king gave his approval and sent 10 members of the Yabyeolcho unit,” succinctly conveys the immense responsibility shouldered by Baek Gyeol and the unit.

Park Se Young Stands Between Sung I Eon’s Devotion And Park Sol La’s Jealousy In “Family Register”

MBC’s upcoming daily drama “Family Register” has unveiled a special poster!

“Family Register” tells the story of a child who is branded from birth as the person responsible for destroying a family and a woman who fights against society’s prejudice and a cruel fate to reclaim her life.

The newly released poster symbolically captures the complicated relationships between the characters, who are bound together by different wounds, desires, and intertwined destinies.

The poster features Na Ji Ni (Park Se Young), Lim Ji Hoo (Sung I Eon), and Do Do Hee (Park Sol La). Na Ji Ni, who has spent her entire life carrying the cruel label of being “the mistress’s daughter,” stares straight ahead with an unwavering gaze, reflecting her inner strength and resilience. In contrast, Do Do Hee—who has envied Na Ji Ni’s talent since childhood—wears an expression that reveals her twisted ambition and deep-seated jealousy.

Adding to the intrigue is the tagline, “One person’s love becomes another person’s wound,” which raises anticipation for the trio’s fragile relationships and the romance that will unfold between them.

Lee Jun Young Unexpectedly Stands By Jeon Hye Jin’s Side In “Reborn Rookie”

Is Lee Jun Young switching sides on “Reborn Rookie”?

JTBC’s “Reborn Rookie” is a drama that tells the story of Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choiseong Group. After an accident, he unexpectedly finds himself living an unwanted second life when his soul is swapped into the youthful body of soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young), forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.

Spoilers

Previously on “Reborn Rookie,” Hwang Jun Hyun (now Kang Yong Ho in spirit) shook things up at Choiseong Group by suddenly turning Kang Bang Geul (Lee Ju Myoung), who had been left out of the succession battle, into a contender for the heir to the throne. By transforming into a “kingmaker,” Hwang Jun Hyun got in the way of Kang Jae Gyeong (Jeon Hye Jin)’s unchecked rise to the top of the company.

However, in newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Hwang Jun Hyun is unexpectedly seen standing at Kang Jae Gyeong’s side during her inauguration as chairwoman. As newly appointed chairwoman Kang Jae Gyeong takes the podium with a confident expression, Hwang Jun Hyun wears a stern expression by her side.

The sight of Hwang Jun Hyun right next to Kang Jae Gyeong during this crucial moment—seemingly indicating that he is one of the closest members of her inner circle—raises the question of why he is by her side instead of Kang Bang Geul’s. Is he now genuinely supporting Kang Jae Gyeong, or is this all part of his grand scheme?

Park Se Young Stands At The Heart Of A Family’s Deepest Wounds In “Family Register”

MBC’s upcoming daily drama “Family Register” has unveiled two main posters!

“Family Register” tells the story of a child who is branded from birth as the person responsible for destroying a family and a woman who fights against society’s prejudice and a cruel fate to reclaim her life.

The newly released posters symbolically depict the tragic fate set in motion by a single family register and the complex relationships among the characters whose lives become intertwined because of it.

The first main poster centers on Na Ji Ni (Park Se Young). Standing alone on a dark subway platform, Na Ji Ni gazes ahead with unwavering determination, reflecting her strong resolve to prove her worth despite the prejudice she faces from society.

Behind her, the faces of Na Se Ri (Han Go Eun) and Noh Young Joo (Lim Ji Eun) overlap like lingering afterimages. Na Se Ri’s cold expression conceals her ambitions, while Noh Young Joo’s eyes reveal the wounds and anger she has carried for years, foreshadowing an intense emotional conflict among the three women.

The blurred image of a speeding subway symbolizes the unstoppable passage of time and fate. Meanwhile, the caption, “The cruelest bond comes in the name of family,” raises curiosity about what fate awaits these characters, whose lives are entangled through pain, desire, and revenge.

The second main poster evokes the feeling of an old family photograph. Although it initially appears to depict an ordinary family portrait, the cracks running across the image hint at the hidden conflicts and emotional scars that lie beneath the surface.

The photo features Na Ji Ni, Na Se Ri, and Noh Young Joo, along with Noh Young Joo’s two sons, Cha Seung Hyun (Seo Do Young) and Cha Seung Woo (Jeon Seung Bin). Standing expressionless and maintaining a noticeable distance from one another, the characters convey relationships that are far from close, sparking curiosity about the stories that connect them.

Notably, the phrase “Can we ever become a real family?” succinctly captures the drama’s central question. As these characters attempt to redefine the meaning of family amid wounds that refuse to heal and fractures that seem impossible to mend, it remains to be seen what emotional journey awaits them.

Uhm Hyun Kyung Stands Up To Her Mother As Her Father Backs Her Up In “Our Happy Days”

A fiery mother-daughter clash is set to unfold once again in “Our Happy Days.”

“Our Happy Days” is a warm family series filled with stories from multiple generations, centering on a tense clash between the world’s most perfect man and an endearingly clumsy woman—each striving to become the main character of their own life.

Spoilers

In tonight’s episode, Jo Eun Ae (Uhm Hyun Kyung) will finally confront her mother Kang Yeon Ja (Kim Hye Ok), who pressures her to make sacrifices for her older brother Jo Eun Hyung (Choi Sung Won).

Previously, Jo Eun Ae was left in tears after her mother asked her to lend money from the sale of her company to support her brother’s appointment as a professor. Deeply hurt by her mother’s constant prioritization of her son, Jo Eun Ae ultimately transfers a large sum of 200 million won (approximately $136,000) after being persuaded by her father Jo Sung Joon (Sunwoo Jae Duk) and pressured by her sister-in-law Cheon Ji Sun (Kim Soo Ah). However, at the same time, news breaks that Jo Eun Hyung has turned down the professorship, foreshadowing yet another storm within the family.

In the newly released stills, Jo Eun Ae’s signature bright smile has completely vanished, replaced by a cold, resentful gaze directed at her mother. Unaware that her daughter has already transferred the money, Kang Yeon Ja continues to push for further sacrifice—only deepening the sting behind Jo Eun Ae’s icy response.

Tensions also come to a head between Jo Sung Joon and Kang Yeon Ja. After quietly standing by until now, Jo Sung Joon finally raises his voice, confronting his wife for refusing to accept their son’s decision to turn down the professorship while continuing to pressure their daughter. Expressing pride in Jo Eun Ae for finally speaking up, he steps forward as her steadfast ally—adding a new layer of tension to the family dynamic.

With disappointment and misunderstandings between Jo Eun Ae and Kang Yeon Ja reaching a breaking point, anticipation is building over whether the two can reconcile—or if their relationship is headed toward an irreversible fracture.
