“The Taste of Prison” (literal translation) has shared a glimpse of its first script reading!

On July 9, the upcoming comedy film “The Taste of Prison” shared that they had officially begun filming on July 6. Along with the announcement, the production also unveiled script reading photos showcasing the cast’s lively chemistry.

“The Taste of Prison” is a heartwarming comedy about a celebrity chef who hits rock bottom overnight and finds herself working in a prison kitchen, where she teams up with inmates who create soul-stirring dishes using the most unexpected recipes and ingredients.

Lee Sun Bin stars as Jessica, a celebrity chef who has gone through only the elite path in the culinary world and is known for her sharp tongue. However, after an unexpected fall from grace, she suddenly finds herself working in a prison kitchen.

Park Ji Hwan plays Jung Bae, the leader of Cell No. 3, who constantly clashes with Jessica while surprising everyone with extraordinary dishes made from unconventional recipes and mysterious ingredients.

Bae Hyeon Seong takes on the role of Soo Hyun, the newest inmate in Cell No. 3. With his gentle personality and natural talent for cooking, he emerges as the prison’s Gen Z culinary prodigy.

Park Young Gyu plays No Ja, the pillar of Cell No. 3 and a master of coffee, while Jo Bok Rae stars as Yong Tak, a smooth-talking con artist.

Jo Dong In plays Gi Chul, an economic offender with an enormous appetite, while Lee Sang Jin portrays Sung Yeol, Jessica’s longtime friend and the owner of the restaurant she once worked at. Lee Bong Ryun plays Soon Young, Jessica’s older sister, with whom she shares a complicated love-hate relationship.

Following the start of filming, the cast shared their excitement about the project. Lee Sun Bin remarked, “I’m really looking forward to the time I’ll spend working on ‘The Taste of Prison.’ First and foremost, I hope filming goes smoothly, and I can’t wait for the day we can share this film with audiences in theaters.”

Jo Han Sun is returning for a final showdown with Lee Dong Wook in “A Shop for Killers 2”!

Based on a novel by “The Killer’s Shopping List” author Kang Ji Young, “A Shop for Killers” is an action drama that follows Jeong Ji An (Kim Hye Joon), who moves in with her uncle Jeong Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook) after her parents’ passing. Jin Man runs a shopping mall, but when he suddenly dies, Ji An inherits his secret and dangerous legacy and becomes the target of suspicious killers. Season 2 follows Ji An, who becomes the shopping mall’s new CEO. She joins forces with Jin Man, who returns alive, to fight back against the global forces of Babylon.

The newly released stills capture Jo Han Sun as Bale, Season 1’s ultimate villain and a key force within the global mercenary organization Babylon. The scars left on his face after his fierce battle with Jin Man, paired with his cold, unreadable expression, create an intimidating aura that sets him apart. Now driven by an even stronger desire for revenge against Jin Man, Bale returns more ruthless and relentless than ever, foreshadowing an even greater threat this season.

Describing his character, Jo Han Sun said, “Bale is someone who charges toward a single goal like a racehorse.”

He continued, “In Season 1, he pursued only what interested him with lifeless eyes. In Season 2, however, he has a clear target—Jin Man. The biggest difference is that he now races forward with his eyes fixed on that one objective.”

Jo Han Sun also teased even more refined action scenes, saying, “Many viewers loved Bale’s dagger action in Season 1, and it will continue in Season 2. I trained much more extensively to deliver action that is even more concise and razor-sharp.”

“Husbands in Action” has unveiled a special teaser!

“Husbands in Action” is an action-comedy about ex-husband Choong Sik (Jin Sun Kyu) and current husband Min Seok (Gong Myoung), who reluctantly join forces to rescue wife Si Nae (Kang Han Na) after she is kidnapped by a dangerous criminal organization.

The newly released teaser opens with Choong Sik, Min Seok, and Do Joon (Kim Ji Suk)—the leader of the drug organization Black Sugar who has unwillingly become part of their mission—crammed into an animal hospital van. Trapped in a narrow alley, they soon come face-to-face with Yong Kang (Yoon Kyung Ho), a former drug kingpin, and his gang.

What follows is an unexpectedly comical standoff. Trying to fire up his side, Yong Kang tells his driver, “Don’t be nervous. Rambo, show them what you’ve got!” But instead of an intimidating display, Rambo responds with an oddly adorable honk.

After a series of hilarious exchanges, Min Seok suddenly slams on the gas and speeds backward, with Rambo giving chase. Just as a collision seems inevitable, Min Seok swerves away at the last second, sending both vehicles scrambling in opposite directions. Seizing the opportunity, he makes a quick escape, while the teaser hints that the wild chase is only getting started.

The upcoming Netflix film “Husbands in Action” has shared new stills of its characters!

“Husbands in Action” is an action-comedy about an ex-husband and a current husband who reluctantly join forces to rescue a wife kidnapped by a dangerous criminal organization.

The stills present a chaotic story, featuring Chung Sik (Jin Sun Kyu), an ace narcotics detective and the ex-husband, and Min Seok (Gong Myoung), a young, handsome veterinarian and current husband. The two are locked in a tense battle of wills over family section seating at their daughter’s English speech contest, setting up anticipation for their clashing chemistry and comedic back-and-forth.

In the stills, the two men are shown deep in thought as they stand in front of a uniquely designed animal hospital van with ear-like features, then chasing someone through a residential alley, and later being pressed closely together inside a cold storage facility. Forced to stay together at all times for an operation, their coordination as they work to save their wife and daughter heightens anticipation.

Shin Hae Sun has been confirmed to lead SBS’s upcoming drama “Dash” (literal title)!

On June 1, SBS announced the production of the new series and Shin Hae Sun’s casting during its drama media day event “SBS DRAMA: NEXT EPISODE” in Seoul.

“Dash” is a mystery suspense romance drama that follows Min Hwa Young (Shin Hae Sun), a prosecutor determined to uphold justice with her own hands, as she relentlessly pursues the truth surrounding her husband, who suddenly becomes a murder suspect.

Shin Hae Sun will star as Min Hwa Young, the head prosecutor of the Special Investigation Division 1 at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. Driven by a long-standing desire to uncover the truth behind her mother’s mysterious death, Min Hwa Young rises to one of the prosecution’s most powerful positions through sheer talent and determination. However, when her husband becomes a murder suspect, she finds herself torn between love and the pursuit of truth. Through the role, Shin Hae Sun is expected to showcase Hwa Young’s fierce resolve and unyielding determination as she presses forward against all odds.

Regarding the casting, the production team stated, “Shin Hae Sun was the only actress who could fully portray Min Hwa Young’s desperate and harrowing journey as she fights to uncover the truth, even at the cost of her own destruction.”
