“A Bona Fide Killer” has unveiled a new teaser!

“A Bona Fide Killer” is an action drama about a working mother with a lethal job who is fighting to protect her work-life balance. Kong Hyo Jin stars as Yu Bo Na, the seemingly ordinary manager of Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics, who is also secretly the legendary sniper known as “Kingfisher.”

The newly released teaser opens with Yu Bo Na’s calm remark, “Let’s do it during the day,” as she then coolly aims a sniper rifle from a rooftop. When her team leader Kim Bong Pal (Sung Dong Il) asks, “Is it strategically better to do it during the day?” Yu Bo Na casually replies, “No, it’s because I have to pick up my child,” creating a humorous contrast between her deadly profession and her everyday life as a mother.

The teaser then highlights Yu Bo Na’s fierce charisma as she sets out to eliminate a recently released criminal, accompanied by her ominous line, “May the happiest day of his life become the day of his funeral.”

However, the mood quickly shifts when a phone call from her mother-in-law sends Yu Bo Na rushing home. In stark contrast to her fearless assassin persona, she quietly bows her head as she endures the harsh scolding of her stern and abrasive mother-in-law Ok Sun Ja (Cha Mi Kyung).

Meanwhile, Kwon Tae Sung (Jung Jun Won) proves himself to be the model of a devoted husband. He affectionately embraces his wife and, when his domineering mother causes a scene by throwing food, he shields Yu Bo Na with his body. Standing up to his mother, he firmly declares, “She’s my precious wife. So please never treat my wife or my family carelessly again.”

At the same time, Tae Sung’s determination as a reporter adds another layer of tension. As he relentlessly investigates crime scenes, questioning whether each case is murder or merely an accident, he has earned the nickname “Kingfisher expert” for his relentless pursuit of the truth behind the legendary sniper Kingfisher. His investigation gradually brings him closer to uncovering the true identity of the person he loves most—his own wife.

Detective Lee Dong Jin (Lee Sang Yi) also springs into action after learning that Kingfisher has resurfaced. While reassuring his best friend Tae Sung, “I’ll protect your kind wife and adorable Yul,” he simultaneously vows, “Welcome back, Kingfisher,” as he relentlessly pursues the elusive sniper. Unaware that the criminal he is hunting is actually someone he has sworn to protect, Dong Jin closes in on Kingfisher, foreshadowing the tangled fate that awaits them.

The teaser ends by introducing a series of criminals Yu Bo Na has set her sights on. As her daughter Kwon Yul (Hwang Bom Yi) innocently asks, “Mom, what do you do for work?” Yu Bo Na quietly replies, “Something the world needs.”

“A Bona Fide Killer” is an action drama about a working mother with a lethal job who is fighting to protect her work-life balance. Kong Hyo Jin stars as Yu Bo Na, the seemingly ordinary manager of Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics, who is also secretly the legendary sniper known as “Kingfisher.”

Newly released stills offer a glimpse of the members of Durumi Electronics’ Sales Team 3, who conceal their true identities while living seemingly ordinary lives. Though they appear to be regular office workers, they are actually an elite covert unit specializing in eliminating criminals through methods such as sniper attacks, staged accidents, and poisonings. They secretly take down ruthless criminals who have escaped justice, delivering long-awaited retribution on behalf of their victims.

Unlike the other departments at Durumi Electronics, which are staffed by ordinary employees, Sales Team 3 operates as a secret organization. The team refers to its targets as “clients” and its missions as “meetings,” carefully hiding their covert operations.

Led by Kim Bong Pal (Sung Dong Il), the team consists of Ki Young Do (Moo Jin Sung) and Bong Tae Min (Kim Nam Hee), who handle field operations and tactical support. They are joined by Oh Hyun Nam (Ha Yul Ri), Go Young Gap (Heo Jae Ho), and Yang Ye Sol (Kim Ga Hee), forming a highly efficient and seamless organization.

As the ace of Sales Team 3, Yu Bo Na boasts unmatched sniping skills and has the highest success rate on the team. “A Bona fide Killer” is an action drama that follows the story of a working mother with the most lethal job in the world as she fights to protect her work–life balance.

The script reading brought together director Yoon Jong Ho, writer Kim Eun Hee, and the cast including Kong Hyo Jin, Jung Jun Won, Lee Sang Yi, Sung Dong Il, Mu Jin Sung, Lee Eun Saem, and Choi Woo Sung.

From their very first meeting, the cast fully immersed themselves in their respective characters, completing the unique atmosphere of the drama where cheerful laughter and tension coexist.

MBC’s upcoming drama “A Bona fide Killer” (working title) has unveiled its cast lineup!

“A Bona fide Killer” is an action drama that follows the story of a working mother with the most lethal job in the world as she fights to protect her work–life balance.

Kong Hyo Jin plays Yu Bo Na, an ordinary office worker who serves as a manager in Sales Team 3 at an electronics company. At the same time, however, she has another identity as the legendary assassin “Kingfisher,” who eliminates criminals who have escaped the judgment of the law. After returning to society following maternity leave, she leads the story as both a mother determined to protect her family and a killer carrying out secret missions.

Jung Jun Won plays Kwon Tae Sung, Yu Bo Na’s husband and a reporter on a newspaper’s investigative reporting team. He is a devoted husband and a doting father to his daughter, while also being a fearless, passionate journalist who charges headfirst into every injustice in the world without hesitation. He once worked as the reporter exclusively assigned to cover “Kingfisher” and gradually moves closer to uncovering its true identity.

Lee Sang Yi plays inspector Lee Dong Jin of Violent Crimes Unit 2 in the Criminal Investigation Division at Nambu Police Station. Because he understands the pain of crime victims better than anyone, he chooses the path of legitimate legal judgment rather than vigilante justice. Driven by an unwavering belief that he must capture Kingfisher and uphold justice, Lee Dong Jin continues his relentless pursuit.

Sung Dong Il plays Kim Bong Pal, the head of Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics. He is known as an inherently good person, so much so that he is nicknamed “Bong Fool,” but he conceals deep experience and combat skills beneath the surface. Kim Bong Pal serves as a reliable ally, looking out for and protecting Yu Bo Na as much as possible after her return as a killer.

JTBC’s “We Are All Trying Here” has shared a sneak peek of Kim Dong Wook’s upcoming special appearance!

“We Are All Trying Here” tells the story of Hwang Dong Man (Koo Kyo Hwan), an aspiring film director who, surrounded by successful friends, believes he is the only one whose life isn’t working out. Consumed by anguish, envy, and jealousy, he sets out on a journey in search of peace.

Previously on “We Are All Trying Here,” Hwang Dong Man succeeded in casting A-list actor No Gang Sik (Sung Dong Il) for his debut film, seemingly marking the start of a flourishing career as a director. However, there was one shadow looming over his promising start: the fact that No Gang Sik is a ticking time bomb that could explode at any moment. No Gang Sik is a toxic veteran actor who has deliberately intimidated any junior actors that he feels might outshine him, and there were even rumors that he recently hit a younger actor.

On the next episode of the drama, Kim Dong Wook will make a special appearance as the younger actor rumored to have been physically assaulted by No Gang Sik.
