“Agent Kim Reactivated” has unveiled new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!

Based on a popular webtoon, SBS’s “Agent Kim Reactivated” is an action revenge drama that tells the story of Manager Kim (So Ji Sub), a seemingly ordinary dad with a secret past who puts everything on the line to save his beloved daughter.

Previously in “Agent Kim Reactivated,” Manager Kim and Park Young Gwang (Taecyeon), who grew up together at a North Korean agent training camp, fell into an unexpected trap during an operation. A tragedy unfolded as Park Young Gwang lost his life, leaving Manager Kim as the only survivor.

In the upcoming episode, a flashback shows the two sitting side by side in the training camp barracks and sharing a final conversation before the operation. Park Young Gwang is deep in thought, and the way Manager Kim looks at his comrade conveys the depth of their trust and friendship.

In particular, Park Young Gwang leaves Manager Kim with the meaningful words, “You are a Kim.” It remains to be seen how this single remark may be connected to the reason Manager Kim goes on to live as “Code Name 66.”

On set, So Ji Sub and Taecyeon created a polished scene by carefully aligning their emotional performances. The two actors reviewed their movements together before filming and conveyed deep emotions through restrained performances.

The production team said, “In episode 5, the secret behind Code Name 66, which many viewers have been curious about, and the reason Manager Kim came to live as 66 will be revealed for the first time. The meaning behind Manager Kim’s line, ‘I’m only remembering the request of my only comrade,’ will also naturally be revealed.”

Taecyeon will be making a special appearance in “Agent Kim Reactivated”!

Based on a popular webtoon, “Agent Kim Reactivated” is an action revenge drama that tells the story of Manager Kim (So Ji Sub), a seemingly ordinary dad with a secret past who puts everything on the line to save his beloved daughter.

Taecyeon will make a special appearance as Park Young Gwang, whose past connection to Manager Kim leads to an intense display of action-packed chemistry.

The newly released stills capture Park Young Gwang’s commanding charisma. In one image, he grips a combat knife in the middle of a training ground with an intense, piercing gaze.

In other stills, he exudes the fierce aura of an elite operative while dressed in a black military uniform and carrying a rifle as he carries out a dangerous mission. Codenamed “Code Name 66,” it remains to be seen how his character’s past is intertwined with Manager Kim’s.

Taecyeon shared, “I was incredibly excited to have the opportunity to act alongside senior actor So Ji Sub. That alone was enough for me to decide to join the project without any hesitation.” Expressing his admiration for So Ji Sub, he added, “I remember filming in such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone on set was so considerate and hospitable, so I had a wonderful time filming.”

He continued, “I was truly happy to be part of ‘Agent Kim Reactivated.’ I hope viewers will also enjoy discovering the many different charms of the drama.”

Watch: 2PM’s Taecyeon And Isomura Hayato Fall In Love In Trailer For New Romance Drama “Soul Mate”

Netflix’s upcoming Japanese series “Soul Mate” has unveiled a new trailer and poster!

Written and directed by Hashizume Shunki, “Soul Mate” will tell a love story between two men that spans 10 years and traverses the cities of Berlin, Seoul, and Tokyo. Isomura Hayato will star as Ryu, a man who left everything behind in Japan, while Taecyeon will play Johan, a boxer who hasn’t been tending to his emotional wounds. After Johan happens to save Ryu’s life in a foreign church, the two men’s chance encounter winds up changing both of them forever as they gradually learn about the meaning of life and love.

Ryu, who was once a promising hockey player, flees from the guilt of inadvertently ruining his best friend’s life by escaping to Berlin, where his childhood friend Sumiko (Hashimoto Ai) lives. Desperate and unable to forgive himself, he wanders into a church and becomes trapped in a fire that nearly costs him his life. After he is rescued by Johan, the two men instantly feel drawn to one another despite hailing from different backgrounds and speaking different languages.

The newly released trailer offers a glimpse of Ryu and Johan’s decade-long emotional journey as they become once-in-a-lifetime “soulmates.” As they both encourage one another and clash fiercely at times, they start to imagine a life together, only for fate to twist their paths in unexpected and painful ways.
