KATSEYE’s Sophia will be temporarily sitting out the group’s activities due to health concerns.

On August 7 local time, HYBE x Geffen announced that Sophia would be “temporarily unable to participate in promotional activities,” explaining that the decision was made to prioritize “her mental health and wellness.”

The official announcement continued, “Sophia has been receiving the utmost support, and following thorough consultations with medical professionals, it has been advised that she take dedicated time for extended rest and ongoing care to ensure a full recovery.”

We are very sorry to share that Sophia will be temporarily unable to participate in upcoming promotional activities. We understand how much EYEKONS were looking forward to seeing Sophia on stage, but it is imperative that her mental health and wellness are prioritized.

Sophia has been receiving the utmost support, and following thorough consultations with medical professionals, it has been advised that she take dedicated time for extended rest and ongoing care to ensure a full recovery. NiziU’s Rio Announces Temporary Hiatus Ahead Of Korean Comeback

As NiziU gears up for a Korean comeback, Rio has temporarily halted all activities due to her health.

On July 27, JYP Entertainment announced, “After repeated discussions with member Rio about her activities following her recovery, we have decided to respect her wishes and temporarily halt her activities.”

“NiziU will be carrying out their activities as an eight-member group for the time being,” continued the agency. “We ask that you continue to give your unchanging support to their activities as an eight-member group, and we ask that you give Rio your warm support as well.”

Last month, Xportsnews reported that NiziU was set to make a Korean comeback in September, though the report was never officially confirmed.

Meanwhile, Rio previously sat out some of NiziU’s activities earlier this month due to health concerns.

AxMxP’s Juhwan To Go On Temporary Hiatus Due To Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo

AxMxP’s Juhwan will be temporarily halting all activities due to his health.

On April 10, FNC Entertainment announced that Juhwan had been diagnosed with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and would therefore be sitting out the band’s upcoming activities in order to focus on his recovery.

We are making an announcement regarding AxMxP member Juhwan’s activities.

Our artist AxMxP member Juhwan visited the hospital on April 5 due to a worsening of his health, and upon examination, he was diagnosed with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).
According to the doctor’s opinion, he is currently in need of plenty of rest and stability in order to recover his health and prevent further worsening of his condition.

As a result, [Juhwan] will be temporarily halting his activities and focusing fully on his treatment and recovery, and we regret to inform you that it will be difficult for him to participate in the following scheduled activities.
We will make a decision about his resuming activities in the future based on both the progress of his recovery and the doctor’s opinion, and we will make a separate announcement if there are any changes.

We ask for fans’ generous understanding in regards to the fact that we have given you cause for concern.
We will do our utmost so that our artist can greet you again in good health.

The Rose Announces Temporary Break Following New Album And Tour

The Rose will be going on a temporary break after releasing a new album and going on a 10th-anniversary tour.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram, the band announced that they planned to take a break “not as an ending, but as a moment to breathe… to grow… and to find ourselves again, individually. So that one day, we can come back to you with even more to give.”

The Rose also revealed their plans for a new album and tour entitled “ROSE” and “ROSETOPIA” respectively. Ahead of the release of “ROSE,” The Rose will be dropping the new single “Blue Moon” on April 13, while their “ROSETOPIA” tour will kick off on June 5. The release date for “ROSE” has not yet been announced.

The band explained, “With our upcoming album ‘ROSE’ and the tour ‘ROSETOPIA,’ we want to close this chapter with you the way it deserves.”
