NCT’s Taeyong Tops iTunes Charts All Over The World With “WYLD”

NCT’s Taeyong is making a splash on music charts across the globe with his new album!

On May 18, Taeyong made his long-awaited solo comeback with his new full-length album “WYLD” and its title track of the same name. Immediately upon its release, both the album and its title track soared to the top of iTunes charts around the world.

According to SM Entertainment, by 10 a.m. KST on May 19, “WYLD” had already reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least eight different regions, including Chile, Poland, India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. “WYLD” had also entered the top 10 in at least 15 different regions, including Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey.

Meanwhile, Taeyong’s title track “WYLD” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least eight different regions, including Argentina, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Laos, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Additionally, “WYLD” reached No. 1 on Bugs’ realtime chart in Korea, while Taeyong swept all of the top 10 spots on AWA’s realtime trending chart in Japan with the 10 songs from his new album.

BABYMONSTER Breaks Their 1st-Day Sales Record + Tops iTunes Charts Worldwide With “CHOOM”

BABYMONSTER’s latest comeback is off to a promising start!

On May 4, BABYMONSTER made their highly-anticipated return with their new mini album “CHOOM” and its title track of the same name.

According to Hanteo Chart, “CHOOM” sold an impressive total of 387,871 copies on its first day of sales alone, breaking BABYMONSTER’s previous first-day sales record of 261,650 set by their second mini album “WE GO UP” last year.

Meanwhile, immediately upon its release, “CHOOM” topped iTunes charts in various countries around the world. By the morning of May 5 KST, the EP had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 15 different regions across the globe.

Additionally, the music video for BABYMONSTER’s title track “CHOOM” shot to No. 1 on YouTube’s worldwide list of Top Trending Music Videos.

TXT Surpasses 1.5 Million Sales In 2 Days + Tops Global Charts With “7TH YEAR: A Moment Of Stillness In The Thorns”

TXT’s latest comeback is off to a strong start!

On April 13 at 6 p.m. KST, TXT made their highly-anticipated return with their new mini album “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns” and its title track “Stick With You.”

According to Hanteo Chart, by the end of the following day, “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns” had already sold an impressive total of 1,532,853 copies.

“7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns” is TXT’s seventh consecutive album to sell over 1 million copies in the first week of its release, following “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child,” “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,” “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL,” “minisode 3: TOMORROW,” “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY,” and “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER.” With the exception of “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child,” all of these albums surpassed 1 million sales on the first day of their release.

Additionally, as of 9 a.m. KST on April 14, “Stick With You” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 17 different regions, including Chile, Mexico, and the Philippines. Meanwhile, “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns” had reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 15 different regions, including Japan, New Zealand, and Brazil.

“Stick With You” also made a strong debut on the domestic charts. The song immediately shot to No. 1 on Bugs’ realtime chart, and after debuting at No. 34 on Melon’s Top 100, it soared to No. 18 by midnight KST on April 14.
