Watch: Gong Myoung And Jin Sun Kyu Form An Unlikely Alliance As Current Husband And Ex-Husband In “Husbands In Action” Trailer

Netflix’s upcoming film “Husbands in Action” has announced its release date with a new trailer and poster!

Helmed by “6/45” director Park Gyu Tae, “Husbands in Action” is an action-comedy about an ex-husband and a current husband begrudgingly teaming up to save a wife who’s been kidnapped by a dangerous criminal organization.

Notably, the film marks the reunion of Jin Sun Kyu and Gong Myoung, who previously starred together in the box-office hit “Extreme Job.” Jin Sun Kyu will play Chung Sik, a hot-headed detective who charges headfirst into every case, including the mission to rescue his ex-wife. Gong Myoung will star as Min Seok, a gentle veterinarian who is the current husband of Chung Sik’s ex-wife—and who is determined to save his beloved spouse.

Netflix has now announced that “Husbands in Action” will be released on June 19.

The newly released poster offers a glimpse of the unlikely partnership between Chung Sik and Min Seok, two comically different men who seem like they would never, under any circumstances, wind up on the same team. Yet despite their differences, the duo is in sync and prepared for a fight, standing back-to-back while facing off against an unseen adversary.

Meanwhile, the accompanying teaser trailer reveals the circumstances of how the two men reluctantly join forces. Towards the start of the trailer, Chung Sik and Min Seok get on each other’s nerves during an awkward run-in at their daughter’s English public speaking contest, where they both claim the title of Yeon Ju’s father.

However, the friction between them is quickly forgotten when Chung Sik receives a phone call informing him that their wife and daughter have been abducted. Despite their incessant bickering, the two begin to find their rhythm as partners, and this chaotic duo soon showcases flawless teamwork as they set out to rescue their family.

Netflix’s upcoming drama “Teach You a Lesson” has unveiled a new poster and trailer!

“Teach You a Lesson” is a series about the fictional Educational Rights Protection Bureau (ERPB), a government task force created to restore teachers’ authority in an era of unruly students, demanding parents, and struggling schools. The series is directed by Hong Jong Chan of “Juvenile Justice” and written by Lee Nam Kyu of “Daily Dose of Sunshine.”

The newly released poster captures the confident strides of four key figures from the ERPB against the backdrop of a chaotic school hallway, each displaying a distinct personality.

Leading the group is Na Hwa Jin (Kim Moo Yeol) with a relaxed smile, followed by Choi Gang Seok (Lee Sung Min), who carries a serious presence; Im Han Rim (Jin Ki Joo), whose sharp gaze stands out; and Bong Geun Dae (Block B’s P.O), shown with his fist clenched. Each character displays a distinct personality.

Meanwhile, the trailer portrays the clash between a school spiraling out of control and the ERPB confronting it head-on through fast-paced action sequences, hinting at a satisfying sense of catharsis.

Hinting at the dramatic tension ahead, the trailer features Na Hwa Jin declaring, “Starting today, the ERPB will teach this school a proper lesson.”

Watch: Gong Sung Ha Seeks Shaman Kim Jae Joong’s Help After Students Mysteriously Disappear In New Film Trailer

Upcoming film “The Shrine” has released its main trailer!

“The Shrine” tells the story of three college students who go missing during an expedition to an abandoned shrine in Kobe, Japan, and how a shaman and his friend from college uncover the identity of the evil spirit behind the disappearance of the missing students.

Kim Jae Joong plays Myung Jin, a shaman who performs exorcisms. Myung Jin, who has been suffering from mysterious nightmares in Korea, heads to an abandoned shrine in Japan after a phone call from his college friend Yumi (Gong Sung Ha).

The newly released teaser begins with captions warning that the university students have stepped into a place they should never have entered. As tension builds, viewers are given a glimpse of the abandoned shrine filled with eerie items. Strange events begin to unfold as the college students, who appear to have become possessed, disappear without a trace.

Yumi then calls Myung Jin to ask for his help, and Myung Jin is seen heading to Japan, where he visits the mysterious shrine upon his arrival. In one scene, he is seen performing a shamanic ritual, while in another, he appears to be asking the evil spirit what it really wants.

The production company stated, “With its exotic and eerie visuals, Korean shamanism, and a mysterious horror atmosphere, [‘The Shrine’] will reach audiences this summer as the most intense shamanistic occult horror film in theaters.”

Netflix’s upcoming Japanese series “Soul Mate” has unveiled a new trailer and poster!

Written and directed by Hashizume Shunki, “Soul Mate” will tell a love story between two men that spans 10 years and traverses the cities of Berlin, Seoul, and Tokyo. Isomura Hayato will star as Ryu, a man who left everything behind in Japan, while Taecyeon will play Johan, a boxer who hasn’t been tending to his emotional wounds. After Johan happens to save Ryu’s life in a foreign church, the two men’s chance encounter winds up changing both of them forever as they gradually learn about the meaning of life and love.

Ryu, who was once a promising hockey player, flees from the guilt of inadvertently ruining his best friend’s life by escaping to Berlin, where his childhood friend Sumiko (Hashimoto Ai) lives. Desperate and unable to forgive himself, he wanders into a church and becomes trapped in a fire that nearly costs him his life. After he is rescued by Johan, the two men instantly feel drawn to one another despite hailing from different backgrounds and speaking different languages.

The newly released trailer offers a glimpse of Ryu and Johan’s decade-long emotional journey as they become once-in-a-lifetime “soulmates.” As they both encourage one another and clash fiercely at times, they start to imagine a life together, only for fate to twist their paths in unexpected and painful ways.
