Cha Woo Min, CIX’s Hyunsuk, EPEX’s Baekseung, And More Transform Into Fictional Idol Group In “My Bias, My Boss”

tvN’s upcoming drama “My Bias, My Boss” has released new “concept photos” of its fictional idol group D.N.X!

Based on a webtoon, “My Bias, My Boss” tells the story of the romance between Nam Da Reum (Kim Hye Joon), who joins a company to meet her longtime idol bias Lee Chan (Cha Woo Min), and the company’s CEO Kang Ha Gi (Kang Hoon).

A devoted fan of D.N.X member Lee Chan for the past 12 years, Nam Da Reum joins Apello, the company founded by Lee Chan and Kang Ha Gi, hoping to fulfill her dream of becoming a successful fan by working alongside her favorite idol. After joining the company, she finds herself caught between Lee Chan and CEO Kang Ha Gi.

D.N.X, short for “Destiny Never X,” is a five-member idol group that rose to fame shortly after its debut. The group consists of visual member Lee Chan, youngest member Roy (Chun Woo Jin), leader Hyuk (CIX’s Hyunsuk), main vocal Tae Oh (EPEX’s Baekseung), and rapper Jinu (Jung Hyun Min).

D.N.X debuted in 2015 and became known for its refreshing image, strong vocals, and powerful performances. However, the group has been unable to make a comeback for undisclosed reasons. As Lee Chan was the group’s most popular member during its peak, fans continue to look forward to D.N.X’s return, remembering not only their music and performances but also the members’ chemistry.

The newly released concept photos capture the group’s diverse charms, recalling the idol image that once won over countless fans.

“My Bias, My Boss” premieres on August 3 at 8:50 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.

Lee Jin Hyuk, tripleS’s Kaede, WOOAH’s Nana, And More Transform Into Fictional Idols For Time-Slip Drama “My Idol, My Debut”

MBC Plus’s upcoming drama “My Idol, My Debut” has shared its first glimpse of Lee Jin Hyuk in character!

“My Idol, My Debut” is a time-slip coming-of-age story about a passionate fan who travels eight years into the past to prevent a tragic accident. In an effort to change fate, she winds up becoming an idol trainee. THE BOYZ’s Q will star as Han Jae Ha, a key member of the fictional boy group BOY TO THE MOON.

Lee Jin Hyuk will play the role of Ethan, a Canadian-born member of BOY TO THE MOON who is the group’s official “mood-maker” and easily gets along with other people wherever he goes.

However, in newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Ethan is seen looking scruffy as he sits on the ground in front of a convenience store with a messy hair and face, a stained plaid shirt, and ripped jeans. The sight of Ethan looking decidedly unpolished piques curiosity as to what sort of situation he has found himself in.

Also pictured outside the convenience store are the members of girl group IRION: Choi Ae Ni (Hwang Ji Ah), Aji (WOOAH’s Nana), Karin (tripleS’s Kaede), and AISA. Sitting at a table with triangle kimbap and banana milk, the quartet poses for the camera with cute expressions befitting a girl group.

tvN’s upcoming drama “Love in Disguise” has unveiled new stills of Kim Jung Hyun and Yeonwoo in character!

“Love in Disguise” is a romance thriller that follows an arrogant third-generation chaebol heir who becomes a murder suspect and a former special forces officer who goes undercover as his personal secretary to investigate him. The drama is based on the popular web novel and webtoon “Why Don’t You Know She’s a Woman?” (literal title).

Kim Jung Hyun plays Kim Si Hyun, a lawyer on the legal team of Taegang Group and the close friend of Yoon Yi Jun (Yim Si Wan). Living by the life motto of “moderation” and “cost-effectiveness,” Kim Si Hyun is a sly man who takes good care of his boss Yoon Yi Jun at work while concealing his true feelings. He lives a moderately shrewd life until he meets a woman who awakens his hidden competitive drive.

Yeonwoo plays Lee Hye Jung, the mysterious woman who triggers Kim Si Hyun’s competitive drive. Lee Hye Jung is a secretary to the Taegang Group chairman, known for her striking beauty, strong abilities, and cautious personality. At work, she is considered the model of a perfect secretary, but after hours, she faithfully follows her “enjoy my life” philosophy, revealing a surprising duality. After an unexpected traffic accident leads to an unintentional encounter, she ends up exposing parts of her private life to Kim Si Hyun.

The stills show the subtle vibes expressed by Kim Si Hyun and Lee Hye Jung, both of whom are hiding their own secrets. Kim Si Hyun uses a sly gaze to influence those around him, while Lee Hye Jung spends time alone with a haughty smile on her face.

As such, the two, whose true intentions are difficult to read at first glance, become entangled by chance and develop a relationship that goes beyond simple coworkers. Kim Si Hyun, who approaches love in moderation, and Lee Hye Jung, who is cautious about romance, begin a psychological game as they try to uncover each other’s true feelings.
