SUPER JUNIOR-83z Tops iTunes Charts Around The World With Unit Debut Album “Promise”

The debut of Super Junior’s newest unit is off to a promising start!

On July 13 at 6 p.m. KST, Leeteuk and Kim Heechul’s new unit SUPER JUNIOR-83z made their debut with their first mini album “Promise” and its title track of the same name.

Immediately upon its release, the mini album soared to the top of iTunes charts in various countries across the globe. According to SM Entertainment, by July 14, “Promise” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 10 different regions, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Paraguay, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Meanwhile, SUPER JUNIOR-83z will be performing their new song “Promise” live on the July 18 episode of MBC’s “Music Core.”

SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan And Joshua Confirmed To Make Fall Unit Debut

SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Joshua are teaming up for a new unit!

On July 6, Xportsnews reported that Jeonghan and Joshua will be debuting as a new unit in October.

In response to the report, PLEDIS Entertainment told Dispatch, “Jeonghan and Joshua are preparing with the goal of making a unit debut in October.”

This will be the next duo under SEVENTEEN to debut following JxW (Jeonghan X Wonwoo), HxW (Hoshi X Woozi), CxM (S.Coups X Mingyu), DxS (DK X Seungkwan), and V8 (Vernon and The8).

Jeonghan was recently discharged from the military on June 25 after being the first member to enlist earlier in September 2024.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Kim Heechul have kicked off the countdown to their unit debut!

On July 1 at midnight KST, Leeteuk and Heechul officially announced the date and details for their upcoming debut as the new unit SUPER JUNIOR-83z.

SUPER JUNIOR-83z will be debuting with their first mini album “Promise” on July 13 at 6 p.m. KST.

idntt’s third unit itsnotover is on the way!

Last year, MODHAUS announced that their rookie boy group idntt would consist of three units: unevermet, yesweare, and itsnotover. unevermet was the first to debut in August of last year, followed by yesweare this past January.

On June 29 at midnight KST, idntt unveiled a “itsnot5ver: 20/24” video teasing the introduction of five new members of the group.

idntt also revealed that itsnotover would be releasing something on July 13 at 6 p.m. KST.

Park Ji Hoon Must Feed His Unit With Barely Any Supplies In “The Legend Of Kitchen Soldier”

Park Ji Hoon will face an increasingly chaotic crisis in the upcoming episode of “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier.”

Based on a popular web novel and webtoon, “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier” is a military fantasy-comedy drama that tells the story of army cook Kang Sung Jae (Park Ji Hoon). When a mysterious quest window pops up in front of him one day, Private Kang Sung Jae begins an unexpected journey that will lead him down the path toward becoming a legendary cook.

At the end of Episode 7, the soldiers of Gangrim Outpost were forced to carry out fortification repairs late at night as heavy rain and strong winds from the approaching typhoon triggered an emergency situation.

The crisis continues in the upcoming Episode 8 as the outpost remains cut off from the outside world. To make matters worse, the unit begins running out of food supplies, creating an even more dire situation.

SEVENTEEN’s Vernon And The8’s New Unit V8 Announces Album Release Date And New Concerts

SEVENTEEN members Vernon and The8 have officially confirmed the debut date for their new unit V8!

On May 28, PLEDIS Entertainment announced that V8 will release their first album on June 29.

The unit name “V8” combines the “V” from Vernon and the “8” from The8. Much like a powerful V8 engine that generates intense acceleration, the unit represents the duo’s unstoppable drive powered by their unique artistic energy.

Following the album release, V8 will continue their activities with unit concerts. “2026 VERNON THE 8 [V8] LIVE” will take place on July 11 and 12 at Hall 1 of KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 in Goyang, before heading to Hong Kong for shows on July 18 and 19 at AsiaWorld-Expo Hall 10.
