Watch: Park Eun Bin And Yang Se Jong’s Unpredictable Romance Begins With One Touch In “Spooky In Love”

tvN’s upcoming drama “Spooky in Love” has shared a new teaser!

A remake of the 2011 film “Spellbound,” “Spooky in Love” is an occult romance drama about the chaotic partnership between Cheon Yeo Ri (Park Eun Bin), a hotel heiress who can see ghosts, and Ma Gang Wook (Yang Se Jong), a passionate prosecutor who is terrified of them.

The newly released teaser features the unpredictable first encounter between the two. Cheon Yeo Ri can see and hear ghosts, and she also knows that anyone whose hand she touches will begin to see ghosts as well. Because of this, she distances herself from others, saying that “I will not be able to hold anyone’s hand in the future.” However, Ma Gang Wook, driven by strong determination, asks for help, saying “Lend me your hand,” and begins to persistently follow her.

Ma Gang Wook is then seen holding Cheon Yeo Ri’s hand without hesitation and saying, “You’re not my type,” which leaves her flustered. Cheon Yeo Ri, unexpectedly rejected, responds, “I’m not curious about your type!”

However, in one surprising scene, Cheon Yeo Ri and Ma Gang Wook—who constantly clash—wake up in the same bed under the same blanket. It remains to be seen what led the two to spend the night together and where their unpredictable relationship is headed.

As suggested by the phrase, “The moment our hands touch, a spooky love begins,” anticipation builds over how their relationship will change after they break the rules and hold hands.

Kwon Yul Is Unpredictable New Threat Pulling Strings Behind The Scenes In “Fifties Professionals”

“Fifties Professionals” has unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!

“Fifties Professionals” is an action-comedy about three seemingly ordinary but secretly dangerous middle-aged men who are brought back into action by destiny. The three men, who once reigned at the top of their respective fields, find themselves exiled to the remote island of Yeongseon after a mysterious incident. There, they begin a bittersweet and comedic quest to uncover the truth about the fateful day from 10 years ago that changed their lives.

Previously on “Fifties Professionals,” the truth about a passenger ship incident from 10 years ago, along with a search for a missing USB drive, unfolds. The episodes also depicted Jung Ho Myung (Shin Ha Kyun), Bong Jae Soon (Oh Jung Se), and Kang Beom Ryong (Heo Sung Tae)’s violent fight aboard the ship in the past to a present-day chase that shakes Yeongseon Island.

Notably, Kang Beom Ryong, the No. 2 figure of Hwasan Gang who had been lying dormant, made a powerful return by breaking through an iron door.

In the upcoming episode, Kwon Yul appears as Chairman Do, the sponsor and powerful financial backer of Han Kyung Wook (Kim Sang Kyung).

The stills show Chairman Do with an unusual sense of style. He wears a neat suit jacket paired with pajama pants, striking exaggerated poses and flashing a smile with unclear intent, revealing his character’s odd yet irritating charm.

In more stills, Chairman Do is seen face-to-face with Han Kyung Wook’s right-hand man Yoo In Gu (Hyun Bong Sik). Yoo In Gu appears caught off guard, staring at Chairman Do with a stiff expression, raising curiosity about what tense exchange may have taken place between the two.

Chairman Do is also shown overpowering others with a sly attitude. His constantly shifting expressions and moods suggest a dangerous mindset in which he treats people like pieces on a chessboard.

It remains to be seen what kind of cracks Chairman Do, as a key backer of Han Kyung Wook, will create in the balance of power on Yeongseon island, and how he may serve as a variable for Jung Ho Myung, Bong Jae Soon, and Kang Beom Ryong.

The next episode of “Fifties Professionals” airs on May 29 at 9:50 p.m. KST.

tvN’s “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier” has shared new stills featuring Park Ji Hoon ahead of its premiere!

Based on a popular web novel and webtoon, “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier” is a military fantasy-comedy drama that tells the story of army cook Kang Sung Jae (Park Ji Hoon). When a mysterious quest window pops up in front of him one day, Private Kang Sung Jae begins an unexpected journey that will lead him down the path toward becoming a legendary cook.

After graduating from boot camp as the top trainee, Kang Sung Jae is assigned to the Gangrim Outpost, where he unexpectedly becomes the center of attention within the unit.

Kang Sung Jae enters boot camp with a strong sense of determination despite receiving his enlistment notice without warning. Saying, “If I’m going to serve in the military anyway, let’s become a proper, real man,” he throws himself into training with passion and dedication. His hard work ultimately earns him the honor of being named the top trainee.

Arriving at the Gangrim Outpost with both excitement and nerves, Kang Sung Jae quickly finds himself caught up in unexpected situations from his very first day, signaling the start of an eventful military life. It remains to be seen how he will adjust to life at the post, which promises to be harsh, intense, and bittersweet.

The stills show Kang Sung Jae looking neat after completing his transfer report at Gangrim Outpost as he meets Master Sergeant Park Jae Young (Yoon Kyung Ho) and Private Tak Moon Ik (Lim Ji Ho), who welcome him to the unit.

After reviewing documents describing Kang Sung Jae as an “S-class” private, Park Jae Young and Tak Moon Ik can hardly believe what they are seeing. Kang Sung Jae also looks confused as he watches the situation unfold, raising questions about the criteria behind the “S-class” designation and what exactly it means in this case.

April Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from March 5 to April 5.

“How Do You Play?” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 5,443,809, marking a 4.87 percent increase in its score since March. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Yoo Jae Suk,” “HaHa,” and “Heo Kyung Hwan,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “contribute,” “fun,” and “become a regular cast member.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.16 percent positive reactions.

Meanwhile, “Running Man” took second place for the month with a brand reputation index of 3,849,074.

“Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) came in at a close third with a brand reputation index of 3,778,861 for April.

“You Quiz on the Block” shot to fourth place after seeing a 108.22 percent increase in its brand reputation index, bringing its total score to 3,526,472 for April.

Finally, “My Little Old Boy” rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,484,370, marking a 34.84 percent rise in its score since March.
