On July 20 at midnight KST, KiiiKiii released their first teasers for their upcoming return. Although the group has not yet revealed an exact comeback date, STARSHIP Entertainment previously confirmed that KiiiKiii was aiming to release their new album in mid-August.

Get ready for a new and upgraded Season 2 of Mnet Plus variety show “SUMBAKKOKJIL”!
CJ ENM’s global K-pop content platform Mnet Plus has announced that its popular horror-themed variety show “SUMBAKKOKJIL” will be returning for a second season in July.
“SUMBAKKOKJIL” is a “survival” variety show in which K-pop idols play an eerie game of hide-and-seek and attempt to evade a mysterious “seeker” for 4,444 seconds. Season 1 featured a total of eight groups as guests: TREASURE, NCT WISH, RIIZE, ZEROBASEONE, TXT, ALLDAY PROJECT, TWS, and BOYNEXTDOOR.
Unlike the simple format of Season 1, which created its tension through the visceral fear of an unseen presence lurking in the dark, Season 2 will feature a story-based format that incorporates well-known urban legends and ghost stories. Instead of merely hiding and running away from an unidentified “seeker,” the participants must become characters within a story and escape an unknown space.
“We designed this season to go beyond a simple survival game, so that players could experience the feeling of having personally stepped inside the world of an urban legend,” said the “SUMBAKKOKJIL” Season 2 production team. “Please also look forward to finding out who the first player to step into this even more immersive narrative will be.”
Although “SUMBAKKOKJIL 2” has not yet revealed its premiere date, the first episode of the show will be released sometime in July.
In addition to a teaser video featuring flashbacks from Season 1, “SUMBAKKOKJIL 2” has also released three spooky story-based teaser videos hinting at potential plots for Season 2. Check them all out below!

Golden Disc Awards is gearing up for its annual ceremony!
On July 15, HLL, the host and organizer of the Golden Disc Awards, announced, “The 41st Golden Disc Awards will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam in January 2027.”
The upcoming ceremony will mark the first time the awards will be held in Vietnam and the eighth overseas edition of the event.
The Golden Disc Awards is an event that selects and celebrates Korean popular music that received widespread love from music fans throughout the year. Each year, it draws attention through its star-studded lineup, exclusive Golden Disc Awards performances, and the unveiling of award winners at the ceremony.
As anticipation builds, specific details, including the ceremony date, venue, and lineup, will be revealed sequentially.

Upcoming film “Assassin(s)” has unveiled its first set of posters!
“Assassin(s)” follows an investigation into the mystery and forces behind the August 15 shooting incident that shocked South Korea.
Yoo Hae Jin plays Cheol Gu, a sharp, determined senior inspector at Jungbu Police Station who witnesses the incident firsthand.
Park Hae Il takes on the role of Jae Hwan, an editor in a newspaper’s social affairs department who, despite facing danger and pressure, digs into the lingering questions surrounding the investigation.
Lee Min Ho stars as Young Il, an ambitious rookie journalist in the same department who also witnesses the incident.
The newly released posters draw attention with the striking caption, “August 15, 1974: The First Lady Assassination Attempt.” The black-and-white scene visible beyond a hand gripping a pistol heightens the tension, while the pluralized title—which contrasts with the single figure in the poster—hints at the suspicions that still linger behind the official record of the incident, further heightening curiosity.
“Assassin(s)” is scheduled to premiere in September.

On June 10, Management Run announced that Hyunsuk had signed with the company. The agency also released a new set of official profile photos of Hyunsuk, which you can check out below.
Management Run is currently home to actors like Park Sung Woong, B1A4’s Jin Young, and Shin Su Hyun, in addition to former EPEX member Keum Donghyun, who used to be labelmates with Hyunsuk at their previous agency C9 Entertainment.
Hyunsuk recently parted ways with C9 Entertainment following the expiration of his exclusive contract, and the members of CIX also announced that they would be halting their activities as a group.

“Heart Signal 5” Unveils New Poster Of Contestants
Channel A’s “Heart Signal 5” has finally released its contestant poster!
“Heart Signal” is a hit dating show in which singles look for love while living together in the same house. Meanwhile, a celebrity panel attempts to deduce whom each contestant is interested in and which singles will wind up forming couples. This season’s “celebrity prediction panel” includes original members Yoon Jong Shin, Lee Sang Min, and Kim Eana, along with new members Roy Kim and Billlie’s Tsuki.
The new poster features the eight contestants who are currently living together in the “Signal House.” From left to right, Seowon, Soyoon, and Seongmin are seen standing, while Minju, Wooyeol, Yugyeong, Gyuri, and Junhyeon are seated together on the sofa.

Former “BOYS II PLANET” contestants and Kim Jae Joong’s upcoming boy group VAYONN is gearing up for their official debut!
VAYONN is a six-member group consisting of Masato, Sen, Ayang, and Jinyu, who previously competed on Mnet’s survival show “BOYS II PLANET,” along with Teru and Mano, who were first introduced through iNKODE’s INTHE X Project.
On June 5, VAYONN’s agency iNKODE Entertainment announced that the group will pre-release “WATTA DAY” on June 23 ahead of its official debut. The song will be included on VAYONN’s first mini album “Youth Today,” which is set to drop on July 6.
Alongside the announcement, VAYONN unveiled a mood board for its debut mini album through its official social media channels. The set of six images showcases the members against lush, sunlit landscapes brimming with summer vibes, capturing the carefree spirit, youthful energy, and sense of freedom that define the album’s concept.
