Kim Jae Won Is A Warmhearted Applicant Who Begins To Question Who He Can Trust In “Final Interview”

The upcoming film “Final Interview” has unveiled more details about Kim Jae Won’s character!

“Final Interview” follows six applicants who make it to the final round of interviews at a global IT company amid an intensely competitive job market. After discovering mysterious envelopes containing exposés about each of them at the final interview venue, the six begin to suspect one another and find themselves locked in a tense psychological battle.

Kim Jae Won plays Han Jin Woo, a gentle and warmhearted applicant who does not judge people based solely on their appearance. After spending a month preparing for the final team discussion with his fellow applicants, he genuinely hopes that all of them will make it through the final round. He is also highly attentive to those around him, remembering not only the other applicants’ names but even their individual preferences.

However, the appearance of the mysterious envelopes throws Han Jin Woo into confusion as well. He remains wary of the envelopes, remarking, “This is obviously a trap,” but as revelations about the applicants continue to surface, his trust in the colleagues he thought he knew begins to waver.

Director Kim Jung Hoon also praised the actor, saying, “Jin Woo needed to be someone the audience would naturally like and want to trust until the very end. Kim Jae Won conveyed the character’s sincerity convincingly through his warm appearance, soothing voice, and ability to subtly vary even a single line of dialogue.”

Jang Gyuri Shares Her Approach To Playing A Warm-Hearted Violist In “Four Hands, Two Sonatas”

Jang Gyuri has shared more insights into her upcoming drama “Four Hands, Two Sonatas”!

“Four Hands” is a piano term referring to two people playing a single piano together. The drama “Four Hands, Two Sonatas” follows the friendship, love, rivalry, and growth of Kang Pio (Song Kang) and Choi Jeong Yo (Lee Jun Young), who meet at an arts high school, tracing their journey from adolescence to adulthood as professional pianists.

Jang Gyuri plays Hong Jae In, a violist with perfect pitch who can accurately distinguish individual notes by ear.

Jang Gyuri revealed she was drawn to the drama because of its story about youth told through the world of classical music. She explained, “I found the story appealing because it portrays the growth, love, and friendship of young people with music at its center.”

On her character Hong Jae In, she shared, “Music is everything to Hong Jae In. She grew up under a mother who runs an artist management company, so she naturally became close to music from a young age. That’s why music is not something particularly special to Hong Jae In—it is her life itself.”

Notably, Hong Jae In is one of the first people to recognize the extraordinary talent of student pianists Kang Pio and Choi Jeong Yo thanks to her exceptional ear. Jang Gyuri noted, “Music is her dream and also something that comforts her during difficult times, so I think she would have been more excited and happy than anyone else when she encountered such extraordinary talent.”

To portray Hong Jae In’s deep understanding of music, Jang Gyuri shared, “I practiced the viola a lot, but I thought it was even more important to first develop my sensitivity toward music. So while preparing for this project, I listened to a lot of classical music and went to see performances.”

She continued, “I realized that because classical music has no lyrics, it can change infinitely depending on the performer’s condition and state of mind. I thought that aspect was very similar to acting. Even with the same script, a completely different work can be created depending on the actor’s condition and state of mind when delivering it.”

Finally, she described Hong Jae In as “a warm-hearted person who is bright, loves people, and knows how to sincerely cheer on and support the people she loves.” She added, “She is someone who quietly stays by your side during difficult moments and gives you a sense of reassurance. Although she gradually matures as she goes through various experiences, she never loses her warm heart that allows her to trust and love others.”

Ra Mi Ran Is A Warm-Hearted Magical Snack Shop Owner In New Japanese Novel-Based Fantasy Film

The upcoming film “Strange Snack Shop Jeoncheondang” (literal title) has unveiled new stills featuring Ra Mi Ran!

Based on a Japanese best-selling novel, “Strange Snack Shop Jeoncheondang” is a fantasy film about magical events that take place when customers carrying lucky coins visit Jeoncheondang, a snack store that grants wishes. The live-action film was produced in South Korea and is scheduled to hit theaters in May, followed by a 12-episode series release in the second half of the year.

Ra Mi Ran plays Hong Ja, the owner of Jecheondang, who gives special snacks to people with different worries and personal stories.

Newly released stills show Ra Mi Ran’s transformed look, featuring a grand hanbok and silver hair. With a strong resemblance to the original character and an added sense of mystery, she has a distinctive on-screen presence.

Behind this carefully crafted visual transformation was Ra Mi Ran’s meticulous effort. She continued filming for long hours while wearing a wig weighing about 3 kilograms and multiple layers of hanbok, and she went through an average makeup process of about 2 hours and 30 minutes each time.

Ra Mi Ran said, “Hong Ja is already a character familiar to many readers, so I felt a lot of pressure. I wanted to portray a Korean-style Hong Ja by blending my own warm and approachable image.” She continued, “The moment I stepped onto the Jeoncheondang set with silver hair and a hanbok, it felt like I had entered a fairy-tale world.”
