KCM And His Wife To Hold Belated Wedding Ceremony

Five years after legally registering his marriage, KCM has announced his plans for a wedding ceremony!

On July 6, KCM’s agency A2Z Entertainment announced, “KCM will be holding his wedding on October 4 at 5 p.m. at Sebitseom Floating Island in Seoul.”

KCM remarked, “I’m happy to be able to keep the promise I made to my wife 14 years ago.” He went on, “This is all thanks to my wife, who steadfastly endured difficult times with me, and our three children, who have made it possible for me to find courage in every moment.”

“I am preparing this wedding as an occasion to convey my determination to live the rest of my life for my family, as well as to express my gratitude to those precious to me,” continued KCM. “I’m also sincerely grateful to my fans, who have given me their unchanging support for a long time.”

KCM and his wife Bang Ye Won welcomed their first daughter in 2012. At the time, they were unable to hold a wedding due to a number of personal factors, including KCM’s military service and business failures. In 2021, the couple legally registered their marriage, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they only held a small ceremony with their close family. At the time, KCM promised his wife that they would eventually hold a formal wedding.

After registering their marriage, the couple welcomed a second daughter in 2022 and a new son in 2025.

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “The Husband” has unveiled character posters of its four leads!

“The Husband” is a thriller starring Namkoong Min as a man on the brink of divorce who unexpectedly becomes embroiled in a desperate fight with a dangerous criminal in order to rescue his wife.

Namkoong Min will star as Kang Tae Joo, a neurosurgeon in a troubled marriage who risks his life to save his wife. His poster captures him solemnly staring at the ground with his head bowed low, looking determined to find the culprit.

Emphasizing his unwavering resolve to rescue his wife, the poster’s caption reads, “I’m coming to get you. There’s something I really want to tell you, no matter what.”

“The Husband” is a thriller that follows Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min), a man who becomes entangled in a desperate battle against a dangerous criminal after his wife is kidnapped just before their divorce.

The newly released teaser opens with Kang Tae Joo firing a gun into the air and shouting, “Don’t come any closer!” It then follows him as he speeds toward an unknown destination while being pursued by multiple police cars. A news report reveals that Kang Tae Joo has become a wanted fugitive after fleeing during an investigation into his wife’s kidnapping and alleged involvement in a murder case. Carrying a large bag and running frantically, he cries out, “No!” leaving viewers wondering what led to his desperate situation.

Meanwhile, Noh Man Hee (Kim Dae Myeung), who first appears with a friendly smile, reveals a darker side as he says, “Everyone has a limit to how much they can endure. I’ve reached mine,” raising questions about his true motives.

Speaking about the action portrayed by Kang Tae Joo in “The Husband,” Namkoong Min shared, “The action in this project is closer to action that conveys a sense of desperation rather than flashy stunts. Since Kang Tae Joo is an ordinary doctor, not a professional fighter, I spent a lot of time thinking about how a real person would move if placed in such a situation.”

He continued, “Because of that, I actually tried not to make the action look too polished. Even during chase scenes and physical confrontations, I focused on capturing a sense of urgency and vulnerability rather than making it seem like he could handle everything perfectly.”

“The Husband” is a romance thriller that follows Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min), a man who becomes entangled in a desperate fight against a ruthless criminal in order to rescue his wife, who is kidnapped just before their divorce.

Lee Seol plays Go Se Yoon, the wife of Kang Tae Joo. Although Go Se Yoon graduated from the same medical school as her husband, she now serves as the chairwoman of We Are Together Hospital. A workaholic who refuses to give up either her career or her family, she has been living with complicated feelings toward Kang Tae Joo. However, her life is thrown into an extreme situation when she is kidnapped by Noh Man Hee (Kim Dae Myeung) the day after her husband brings up divorce.

Having even cut off her long hair for the role, Lee Seol showcases her dedication to portraying Go Se Yoon. Newly released stills capture her first appearance as the character, conveying the calm exterior and the brewing storm beneath the surface.

The photos show Go Se Yoon displaying very different emotional states at the hospital and at home. At the hospital, she exudes the coldness and decisive charisma expected of a chairwoman. At home, however, she reveals a sense of fragility through subtly wavering eyes despite her composed demeanor. As Go Se Yoon faces both a looming divorce and a sudden kidnapping, anticipation is growing over what lies ahead for her tragic fate.

Lee Seol shared, “The script was incredibly gripping from start to finish. Above all, I had always wanted the opportunity to work alongside Namkoong Min, an actor I deeply admire and trust, so I accepted the role without hesitation.”

She also revealed the special effort she put into bringing her character to life, saying, “When I read the script and thought about Se Yoon, the first thing that came to mind was a pearl. I personally searched for and selected pearls to create custom earrings and a necklace for her.” She added, “I also cut my hair short to achieve a more sophisticated look.”
